About: I’ve had pets my entire life. My family had a two high energy dogs growing up and even from a young age I would enjoy caring for the two of them. After they passed, I volunteered at my local humane society, working mainly with dogs. When I was about 17, I convinced my family to adopt a puppy. I taught him basic commands, potty training, and basic leash skills. I currently own a cat who is equal parts sweetheart and menace. Being tasked with raising a kitten turned out to have a massive learning curve, but he is absolutely spoiled with playtime, toys, and treats. He is currently being leash trained and we’re working on anxiety associated with his crate. I am extremely flexible since I am in a hybrid program for classes, so all of my didactic/classroom work is fully online and accessible from anywhere and anytime! I do work Friday mornings from 8am-12pm and may not be available some weekends since I work every third weekend minimum. Otherwise, I’m completely flexible and will always try to work with you! I care for all pets with love and respect. The main goal is to establish trust with new pets by allowing them to approach me with interest on their own terms, even if it takes a while. Providing pets with playtime and attention is a priority after their daily basic needs are met. I believe in gentle correction or making an activity more interesting with treats or a favorite toy when a pet is acting up or disinterested.

About: I have had 5 cats over my whole life, since age 7 - Experience (chronological) of 7 months in an animal shelter volunteering (halted due to an emergency move, then the facility changed to S&N / vaccination services exclusively), 3 months full time in a pet resort, and 2 months professionally & full time in another animal shelter. I have more experience/specific knowledge when it comes to cats and their behaviors, but I am also comfortable and have had experience with dogs (doggy daycare, individual playtimes, walks, as well as feedings!) Cleaning & sanitation was also a major factor in safety when working with animals. I find individual/localized care is more fitting for my life, as I am discovering furthering limits with conditions of mine. Care for any of our little friends is my forte, and I would love to bring the knowledge & experience I have to your loved ones when someone is needed! Routines and schedules are important to me as well and never skipped.

About: Whenever there is a new pet in the family, I am the one that is called upon for advice, care, and tips. Naturally animals seem to relax around me which allows me to build deeper connections and trust with the animals. I am very intentional in the way that I care for anyone including pets, so I take all of the minor details seriously when it comes to caring for your loved one. I am currently transitioning out of a corporate position and working towards future goals. As a result, I will be working part time allowing more time to hang out, walk, or check on your pet. I am mostly available evenings and weekends. I prefer to provide care based on the client’s preference. If the pet needs to be walked for a certain amount of time or put into a certain area for a nap at a certain time, I will go based off what is expected.

About: I care deeply for the well-being of dogs and pets as I feel each one has their own personalities and quirks. Anyone that knows me, knows how much my dogs mean the world to me and I carry that on with any pet that is under my care. My schedule is flexible. I walk my dog Isaac every morning and we absolutely love our walks. Would love to bring your pup along for a great walk. I'm very careful to make sure our walks are safe and stress free. I watch out for any signs of discomfort and go at a pace that your pup feel comfortable.

About: I have my own dog named Batman and have had him since third grade! I have also dog sat for neighbors and family friends throughout the years. If you need a dog walker, I'm your girl! I am a full time student at ASU. I only have classes M & W from 10-1:15. Any other days are pretty much flexible for me. In my home, it's a closed off backyard and have my dog to keep them company if needed. I also can crate your dog(s) in your home if needed.

About: Family, friends and acquaintances of theirs have relied on me as a source of care that they consider a piece of their family. If you’re that kinda person , I might just the right fit. I like to understand an animals personality, and created a trusted bond. I am willing to do whatever silly thing your animal requires to feel safe and loved. Pet sitting is not just something to bring in an extra income but something that brings real joy, happiness, and fulfillment to my life. While having an animal for me, every single day isn’t realistic unfortunately ,I find that the ability to do this periodically throughout the year and to be around animals is very rewarding . This also gives me the ability to focus entirely on your animal and the comfort they need when family is away. I did security for nine years and have a level one fingerprint clearance card. I will treat your home with respect and when watching animals and my own home, I do not watch multiple animals from different households to ensure that no issues were to ever arise in a negative altercation. I do have a preference of housesitting at clients homes due to just the comfortability of the animals environment not changing. They tend to already have a little bit of anxiety with the owner, leaving and changing their environment can sometimes for some animals heighten that anxiety.

About: What sets me apart is the level of care, patience, and attention I give to every pet. I understand that each animal has a different personality, comfort level, and routine, so I take the time to make them feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while their owner is away. I’m very reliable, communicative, and detail-oriented, and I know how important trust is when someone is caring for a beloved pet. I’m also comfortable caring for pets with different energy levels and needs, including shy animals, high-energy dogs, and senior pets who may need a gentler approach, extra patience, or medication reminders. I focus on creating a calm, positive experience for both pets and owners by providing consistent care, updates, and lots of affection and attention. Pet care fits very well into my routine because I have a flexible part-time schedule that gives me plenty of availability throughout the week. I’m available after 5pm Monday through Thursday, available all day on Fridays, and completely open on weekends for walks, drop-ins, overnight stays, or extended care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and any household rules or routines the pet is used to. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, companionship, and exercise while also keeping the home clean, secure, and respected. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality and needs, whether that means active play, reinforcing basic routines for younger pets, or providing a calm and comforting environment for more anxious pets.

About: As a teenager I had a pooper-scooper business in my neighborhood, with one regular client. Growing up we always had 2 dogs and I was the primary care taker. I've also watched dogs and cats while house sitting for several co-workers, including a tortoise and rabbits. I previously lived with 2 teacup yorkies and at my previous job we had an office dog (Rhodesian ridgeback) that I also cared for M-F during office hours. I like big dogs and little dogs and all sizes between. I'm usually pretty good at belly rubs and find that sweet spot that gets the leg kicking. My first dog was a border collie that we rescued from the pound. He had epilepsy and needed to take a daily pill. I could administer it with peanut butter, bread crust or sometimes dry, but often he would spit it out. That is my oral medication experience. I don't have time to give a family pet the attention it deserves so I don't have a pet of my own. I am currently living out of my van, which is not suitable for a pet, however I still love being around animals and if I can accompany your furry friends while they would otherwise be alone then that will make me happy. My previous home had cameras in the interior and exterior to monitor the pups safety. I always follow the instructions provided by the owner as they know their pet more than I do. I am a guest in the world of your pet and treat them with respect. This seems to allow most dogs to feel very comfortable around me. I take advice from trained professionals when applicable and always keep the lines of communication open.

About: My kiddo and I will happily provide lots of playtime, including walks and socializing, for your loved one. We both have experience with multiple breeds and are always looking to learn about the preferences and habits of those that are new to us. My kid loves to jog, dance, and tumble with the pups, while I'm more of the snuggling type. We both love long walks and visiting with friends at the dog park. If your sweetie prefers to play without children, I am available solo as well. Whatever your needs, my little family and I are happy to tailor our care to you and yours. I am new to Rover and typically have dogsat through family friends/word of mouth. Looking for some company during my WFH job during the week! I have a work from home job with limited meetings. I am available to hang out for longer periods than just a quick potty break or walk. Available during the day after 8 am CST and evenings. Weekends not available. Your dog will be treated with as much care and love as I treat my dog with. I am attentive and diligent with whatever your dog needs.
