“Makayla was an absolute amazing cat and house sitter! She was able to jump in last minute to sit when something came up. Makayla was very communicative, gave regular updates and cleaned up. Went above and beyond what was needed. I will 100% use her again and highly recommend.”

“We are very satisfied with Maya taking care of our pet. She gave us daily updates with pictures. The house was in order as we left it. We hope to have Maya stay with Spencer again in the future. Thank you very much!”

“Nicole was so great with our Lucy! She really loved her like her own. Lucy loved the long walks and extra snuggles with Nicole around. Will book again!!! Thanks a bunch for the help while I was away!!”

“We were very nervous about having our dog (Chihuahua - Lesie) taken care of by a pet sitter. After meeting Gigi we felt she was a good match with our pet. She kept us up to date with messages and pictures daily and replied quickly to any questions we had. We would not hesitate to have Gigi watch Lesie again.”

“Will was a fantastic sitter. He shared photos & videos of our dogs which made us feel connected while we were away and trust they were in good hands. He left the house in pristine condition. Would absolutely recommend him and work with him again when we have a need!”

“Sherry did an excellent job, she checked in to make sure everything was still on schedule for day and time I requested. She was punctual and followed feeding instructions to the tee. Karma seemed very happy and not stressed like usual. I would highly recommend Sherry for pet sitting, we will definitely Use her services again!”

“We’ve been using Rover now for, well since it was created, and have had mostly good caregivers for our dog. Over the years we’ve probably used 15 or so sitters. Part of being satisfied is not expecting perfection, so we never do. If you keep the house from burning down and our dog is safe that is our basis for satisfaction. We have had sitters arrive late, leave early, bend the truth, and even take supplies from our house, so when you find someone whose nature is to genuinely care, to be sincere, and to deliver a service that is better because her standard is just better, it sure makes you grateful. Someone taught her long ago that communication is important, that pet owners want to be in the know, so they don’t have to worry. Julia is simply the best provider we have experienced on Rover. She just gets it, and that means so much to us. From arriving when she says she will each and every time, to letting us know how our dog was doing, to caring for our house and belongings as if they were her own. She even took the time to make sure our return was on time and to make herself available of if we were to be delayed. For selfish reasons, i dont want anyone to book her, but she deserves to be the busiest Rover pet sitter ever and im sure she will be. Thank you Julia!”
“We have a very high energy Pit Bull and she had no problems taking care of him. She even stayed late when I had the pickup time wrong without me asking her. Our baby seemed happy when we got home without signs of stress or anxiety. The house was just as clean as we left it and the room she stayed in was spotless. We will use her again.”

“Krishna did a wonderful job with our 3 year old pitty. He got PLENTLY of attention and was let out and played with every day! We also had Krishna house sit for us which was really stressful 1.) leaving our puppy, 2.) leaving someone else in charge of the house. After meeting her within 5 minutes we were comfortable leaving not just our puppy but the house in her care. Thank you for a great job. Church now has another best friend!”

“Daniel was great with our three pups! We have a pointer mix, Rottweiler, and Shar Pei/Lab mix, and his calm demeanor was a perfect fit. He kept us updated on their day and took lots of amazing photos of them. Would highly recommend and will be using him again.”

“Mae was a wonderful and caring sitter for my dog Winston. She went above and beyond and you can tell she really cares for and loves animals. She took care of Winston’s needs well and I cannot recommend her enough!”

“Harim was wonderful and took such great care of our girls! She was quick to respond, proactive, respectful, friendly, and very loving with our 2 fur babies. Highly recommend using her!”

“Madison did a great job caring for my dogs and house. The dogs were happy and well cared for and the house was neat and as I left it. Very happy with experience and will definitely request Madison again.”

“Alyssa is absolutely amazing. We’ve used her a few times now. Recently our dog sitter cancelled the day we were suppose to fly out and Alyssa stepped in and helped us immensely! Can’t thank her enough!”

About: Hello there! My name is Julia and I'm an artist and a huge animal lover! I was a very lucky dog mom for 8 years to a mixed dog (cattle / rotty mix) named Copper Joe. And now I am a mom to two little sphynx girls. I have cared for family and friend's pets multiple times before and I enjoyed it so much that I have decided to join Rover! I guarantee for your pet to be my main priority during my care for them. I'm a very caring and attentive person. I understand how hard it is to leave your pet with a stranger and I will go above and beyond to make sure you and your fur baby feel comfortable with me. I hope I get to meet you and your pup or kitty soon! P.S. I'm open to meet before the service you need to get to know you and your pet better. **Also, if you're interested in an original and unique painting or drawing of your pet, feel free to ask for prices** Julia I am available for pet sitting at your home or walks depending on my calendar availability. At the moment I am only taking requests during the week for late afternoon / night services as well as weekends all day. I like to provide a safe environment for pets. This is why it's very important for me to get a feel of their personalities before pet sitting them. I allow your pet to be themselves in their homes and provide the right care for them while also treating them with love and respect.
“Rosa was amazing with Ollie. She updated me as needed. She was very kind and patient with Ollie as she takes a little while to warm up to people. Ollie loved her! I will definitely be booking again when I need!”

South Mountain pet parents share their Rover experiences
Makayla is wonderful! I was worried about leaving my sweet kitten for the first time and for an extended period while being out of touch on a cruise. Makayla put me at ease from the first interview with her sweet, positive energy. After talking with her, I realized how capable and responsible she is, beyond her years. She is very responsive, was willing to visit ahead of time and get a rundown of the house, care and vibe check with my baby, and maintained great communication for the duration of the stay. She completely put my mind at ease while I was away and I came back to a calm home/cat. I will be re-booking her again!

Krishna did a wonderful job with our 3 year old pitty. He got PLENTLY of attention and was let out and played with every day! We also had Krishna house sit for us which was really stressful 1.) leaving our puppy, 2.) leaving someone else in charge of the house. Absolutely best rover ever. I’ve worked with a lot of rovers in the past with several moves between states. Aidaly is incredible professional, energetic, and an overall S-tier rover. I plan to keep her forever if I can. My pup peanut loved her the second they met. She took care of her daily with teeth brushing constant updates on my work trip and supports incredible love and care for my child she takes it to the next level. There’s a book called unreasonable hospitality and she reminds me of it because she goes more than the extra mile. She’s an instrumental part of peanuts life now :)

Gino and Tiffany took great care of Lacey and Lois. Gino was great with the girls. He sent me pictures every morning as well as every night. Mt girls looked great. They were happy and had a good time with Gino. I look forward to working with Gino and Tiffany in the future. I recommend them highly to take good care of your pets.

Alison put me at ease using Rover for the first time with my two reactive, relatively needy dogs. She is reliable, thorough and communicative. My dog has Addison’s and had tummy issues start a few days before my trip. Alison was fantastic at retaining my over the top 6 page sitter guide that I typed up for my dogs. She always let me know that my dog took his meds, which I deeply appreciated as a chronically concerned dog mom. She was thorough and attentive so much that she noticed when my dog had spit out half of his pill. She sent photos each day and my dogs seemed so at ease with her. She has such an amazing energy. She is sweet and not afraid to be the leader when my dogs need it. Highly, highly recommend. She was kind enough to dog sit on Christmas. I can’t thank her enough. We finally found someone we trust our dogs with.

Rebecca was amazing for a week over Christmas with our two pups. They just adored her and she sent us pictures and videos throughout the trip and updating us on how they were doing. She went above and beyond to have the house ready when we got home. ❤️ I would highly recommend her for a home stay!!

This was the first time I had ever had to find a dog sitter. I was pretty nervous as my 3 pups can be a lot of work. Mary Kate went above and beyond! She sent me photos and kept me updated! She spent a significant amount of time playing with my pups and taking them on extra long walks! I can’t say enough how grateful I was to know they were in good hands!
