“Sherry watched our chihuahua Quinnie for 4 days. Our little pup can be standoffish to others and becomes very sad when we leave her. She refuses food and won’t interact. Sherry came in and won her over. Quinnie played and chased and ate her food every day. Sherry was efficient in walking her twice a day also and messaged us with photos and updates morning and night. About: Although I'm new to Rover, I've been pet sitting since I was 13!! With it being my first job, I started with sitting for neighbors and family friends. Over time, many of them have referred me to their friends and other neighbors. Thanks to those referrals, I've now worked with over 10 families, all of them with at least one dog 🐶! Through those experiences, I cared for younger dogs, senior dogs, dogs that need daily medication, dogs with separation anxiety, and more. My family also has a sweet 4 year old German Shepherd of our own! We've had her since she was a 3 month old puppy, so I also definitely understand the needs of a high energy dog. Luckily, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to prioritize the pets under my care! This makes it easy for me to maintain pets' daily routines and plan my schedule around their needs rather than the other way around.
