I'm passionate about pet care and have been around dogs and cats my whole life. I volunteer at the Arizona Animal Welfare League, where I work with a diverse range of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Through this experience, I have completed training courses that focus on working with anxious and challenging dogs, so I’m well-equipped to handle various behavioral needs. I also have a friendly cat (who's currently not in my home), and grew up with dogs, cats, bunnies, hamsters, Guinea pigs, and more, so I'm used to managing multi-pet households! Whether your pet needs a gentle walk, fun sleepover, or some extra love and attention, I’m here to help!

I live in a gated apartment complex that offers plenty of grassy areas perfect for walks, and I’m just a short drive away from a fantastic dog park where your pup can enjoy some off-leash fun. Due to the space limitations of my apartment, I can currently host only one dog at a time, ensuring they receive my full attention and care. However, I’m more than happy to come to your home to care for your dog in their familiar environment. With experience in house-sitting, plant-sitting, and pet-sitting, you can trust me to handle all your in-home needs with care and reliability. Your pet will receive dedicated attention and love, whether they’re staying with me or being cared for in the comfort of their own home.

Alyssa was wonderful! Very responsive and easy to communicate with. Our dogs were very happy and relaxed when we got back home.
Being able to leave my home and pets with a stranger is hard, but Alyssa made it a great experience. She was extremely good about checking in and updating me on my kitties, and very responsive if I asked a question. My cats were in great shape when I arrived home, and it was SO nice coming back to my place being as clean (maybe cleaner!) than how I left it. I appreciate not having to worry about my place/kitties when I'm out of town. I would definitely use Alyssa again!
Alyssa is wonderful. Zak and Tequila love when she comes to stay with them. Alyssa sends daily updates with pictures that make us smile.

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give your pet plenty of attention and care. I work a hybrid-remote job, which means I’m home for the majority of the week and can offer your pet companionship and care throughout each day. My schedule provides me with ample time to ensure your pet gets regular walks, playtime, and any other needs they might have. With a high-energy dog of my own, I take frequent walks and trips to the dog park, all of which I’d be happy to do for your pup(s) based on their needs and interests! I’m committed to making sure your furry friend feels loved and well-cared for, whether that’s waking up before the sun for a cool morning walk or hanging out at home with ample treats and toys.
