Before I start a pet-sit, it’s important to know any special needs the pet may have, like medications or specific foods they require. I also need to understand their walking schedule, especially if they need to be walked every few hours, or if there are any treatments or routines they need. This helps me provide the best care and keep the pet comfortable and happy.
A typical day
When I watch pets, I love engaging them in fun activities like playing fetch and spending quality time giving lots of love, attention, and pets. If it’s a longer stay, I may also work on a bit of basic training, especially if the pet could benefit from it. I always try to encourage good habits to help them feel happy, confident, and well-behaved.

I have owned 4 dogs in the last 10 years ranging from a Neo mastiff to chihuahua at the same time. I have owned a variety of animals also so if you were to have any other kinds of pets I would be capable of caring for them also. One house sitting involved 7 dogs 2 cats 2 horses and a handful of chickens and 2 pigs. All of which were well cared for. I always get the comment of 'my dog doesn't like men but he loves you' all the time. I am not sure what it is but I get along well with all animals even the hot tempered ones. I love all animals and I am sure they will have a lot of attention and be well cared for while I am watching them.

Patrick was great with our dogs and provided daily photos and updates. He also left the house exactly as he found it which is always appreciated. Would definitely recommend!
This was the first time I left my 5 month old puppy and Patrick was very patient with my early check ins. He was also very patient with my puppy to warm up. He was communicative and sent photos. I appreciated it very much and quickly felt at ease. Would book him again!
Fabulous. Patrick stayed at my house with my very fireworks-averse pups while I worked new years eve and was a total life saver. He was very communicative every step of the way and made sure they were well loved and cared for. He sent pictures and updates throughout the night and left the house exactly as he found it. Both my cat and dog are generally very hateful towards strangers and men, but both of them loved him immediately. Huge green flag. Will definitely be repeat customers.
Our kids and our home were all happy and well cared for when we returned. We will be repeat customers in the future!
