“We’ve been using Rover now for, well since it was created, and have had mostly good caregivers for our dog. Over the years we’ve probably used 15 or so sitters. Part of being satisfied is not expecting perfection, so we never do. If you keep the house from burning down and our dog is safe that is our basis for satisfaction. We have had sitters arrive late, leave early, bend the truth, and even take supplies from our house, so when you find someone whose nature is to genuinely care, to be sincere, and to deliver a service that is better because her standard is just better, it sure makes you grateful. Someone taught her long ago that communication is important, that pet owners want to be in the know, so they don’t have to worry. Julia is simply the best provider we have experienced on Rover. She just gets it, and that means so much to us. From arriving when she says she will each and every time, to letting us know how our dog was doing, to caring for our house and belongings as if they were her own. She even took the time to make sure our return was on time and to make herself available of if we were to be delayed. For selfish reasons, i dont want anyone to book her, but she deserves to be the busiest Rover pet sitter ever and im sure she will be. Thank you Julia!”

“Amia was the perfect fit! I was extremely apprehensive about leaving my 14 year old deaf dog who I never left with anyone outside family before. My pup has separation anxiety from me. When I got home she even woke up this morning and went in guest room to look for her!! I will definitely use Amia again should need arrise! About: I have taken care of and grown up around dogs my entire life. From elderly rescues with anxiety to playful pups, I’ve never met a doggo I didn’t love. I have worked with trainers in the past for my own dogs. I have been around and worked with dogs as big as Great Danes, down to little weenies. I work from home so my schedule is fairly flexible. I can do drop-ins morning, afternoon and evening depending on location. I can do walks afternoon and evening, also depending on location. I live in a house with fenced in yard with a lab mix named Baker and kitten named Hazelnut. Baker has a that I leave open for him to have access to the whole house or kennel depending on his mood. Any pups are welcomed on the couch and on the bed! My space is their space. Baker is currently visiting his grandparents on an extended stay so only Hazelnut (cat) is in the house.

About: I was raised with dogs as my siblings and can read body language very well! When I turned 13 I got Charlie who’s been my best friend and responsibility since. Since Charlie my dogs been getting older she’s slowed down a lot but still needs daily exercise and enrichment! She’s the one keeping me on her strict routine at this point making sure she gets all the things she’s become accustomed to. Every pet has their own needs and routines! Making sure I know what those are helps ensure not just that they’re taken care of but that they are enjoying themselves as much as they can while you’re away.
