“Maya was wonderful with our two poodle mixes! They were very happy when we arrived back home and it was clear they were well taken care of while we were away. Maya sent daily updates and pictures, which was very much appreciated. She also helped to bring in packages and put our garbage containers out while we were away. She took great care of our dogs and home. We'd definitely love to have Maya dogsit again!”

“We’ve been using Rover now for, well since it was created, and have had mostly good caregivers for our dog. Over the years we’ve probably used 15 or so sitters. Part of being satisfied is not expecting perfection, so we never do. If you keep the house from burning down and our dog is safe that is our basis for satisfaction. We have had sitters arrive late, leave early, bend the truth, and even take supplies from our house, so when you find someone whose nature is to genuinely care, to be sincere, and to deliver a service that is better because her standard is just better, it sure makes you grateful. Someone taught her long ago that communication is important, that pet owners want to be in the know, so they don’t have to worry. Julia is simply the best provider we have experienced on Rover. She just gets it, and that means so much to us. From arriving when she says she will each and every time, to letting us know how our dog was doing, to caring for our house and belongings as if they were her own. She even took the time to make sure our return was on time and to make herself available of if we were to be delayed. For selfish reasons, i dont want anyone to book her, but she deserves to be the busiest Rover pet sitter ever and im sure she will be. Thank you Julia!”

“Madison did a great job caring for my dogs and house. The dogs were happy and well cared for and the house was neat and as I left it. Very happy with experience and will definitely request Madison again.”

“Janet has pet sit for our two pups for a couple of years now, and always does an excellent job. Great communication and always works to be as flexible as possible if plans change.”

“A very thoughtful and caring cat sitter! Was given detailed updates that let me know my pet was being well taken care of. Will be rebooking Daniel for future cat sitting!”

“Olivia did incredible with Copper. She kept him happy and engaged and my fur baby had a whole week full of fun activities. Best of all he did not have anxiety missing us thanks to Olivia’s care sans attention. We will hire her and heartbeat again.”

“Will was a fantastic sitter. He shared photos & videos of our dogs which made us feel connected while we were away and trust they were in good hands. He left the house in pristine condition. Would absolutely recommend him and work with him again when we have a need!”

“Krishna did a wonderful job with our 3 year old pitty. He got PLENTLY of attention and was let out and played with every day! We also had Krishna house sit for us which was really stressful 1.) leaving our puppy, 2.) leaving someone else in charge of the house. After meeting her within 5 minutes we were comfortable leaving not just our puppy but the house in her care. Thank you for a great job. Church now has another best friend!”

“It's always wonderful to leave Lucy in the care of Kadea and her family ❤️ I know she's well cared for and I always pick up a happy Lucy after her daycare”

“Taylor was amazing. I had zero worries that my dogs were better than okay the whole time I was gone. They immediately loved her and she took amazing care of them. I will definitely be using her again!”

“Shannon was wonderful! She was great with following the information about feeding our girls and giving them their medication. When our flight was delayed, she even stayed a little extra time with them to make sure they got an extra yard break. Most importantly, our girls really liked Shannon and even slept on the bed with her.”

“Kim was THE BEST. She made arrangements with me to meet Freya ahead of time and sent pictures and videos the short time I was away. She was very patient with my laundry list text about Freya’s habits and made sure I knew when she was at my home with Freya and that she was fed, etc. I will definitely use Kim in the future and highly recommend her to anyone needing a sitter for their pet. Knowing Kim was taking good care of Freya allowed me to focus on my daughter’s graduation weekend. Thank you, Kim!”

About: I have taken care of pets for the majority of my life. I had a cat at a young age, and have owned 2 amazing dogs for 10 years. Pets are my thing! I currently work a part-time job in Ahwatukee so my times are extremely flexible. I will always make time for pets because they deserve as much love and care as anyone! I will always make sure a pet has anything he/she needs. Whether that is food, water, exercise, or playtime. Assuming your home is a safe environment, I will be there!!

About: Hi! I’m Amanda, a nursing student and lifelong animal lover with over 10 years of pet sitting experience. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, from chihuahuas to greyhounds, labs, and pitbulls. I’ve also done extensive training work with my own dogs through both private lessons and group classes, and I have family members who work as professional dog trainers at Zoom Room. In addition to dog sitting, I’ve also cared for cats for family and friends and am comfortable helping with feeding, playtime, litter box care, and companionship. I love staying active with dogs through walks, hikes, and playtime, and I always aim to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. As a nursing student, my schedule this summer is very flexible since most of my coursework is online. Outside of being in class on Mondays, I’m able to structure my days around pet care responsibilities such as walks, feedings, playtime, check-ins, and overnight stays. Caring for animals already plays a big role in my daily routine with my own dog, and I genuinely enjoy building pet care into my schedule. I also stay active and love incorporating walks and outdoor time into my day whenever possible. At this time, I only offer care in my clients’ homes so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routines. I aim to provide attentive, reliable care tailored to each pet’s needs, whether that includes feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication administration if needed, litter box care, or simply companionship and comfort. I also understand how important communication is while owners are away, so I make sure to provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.
“Nicole and Rose were great! They were flexible with some last minute changes to the sitting. They sent updates and pictures for me to see how the pups were doing. They were very kind and great to communicate with. Can’t wait for them to house sit my pups again!”

We are SO happy we found Julia! We have two Vizslas that are 8 and 9 yo and we have never had a sitter other than family. We were too nervous to leave them with a “stranger”. We took a leap of faith and couldn’t be happier. Julia exceeded expectations. She took great care of our pups and communicated flawlessly. Julia is personable, friendly and reliable. Couldn’t ask for more. So much so that we have already requested to book her 4 more times! Highly recommend!
Janet & Liz are simply amazing, there just no other way to put it. My husband and I are VERY particular about who we trust in our home and with our fur babies, and these two ladies are hands down the best! They take excellent care of our home and give our fur babies all the love in the world while we are gone.

Alison did such a wonderful job watching Novo. This was Novo’s second time with Alison. He loves her of course. The thing I am the most grateful for is how trustworthy she is. I genuinely trust her judgement and decision-making. She is reliable and communicative. Thank you Alison!

This was my first experience with Rover and I was nervous about having someone in my home. I have 2 senior dogs and while they aren’t special needs I wanted someone who would cuddle them while I was away. Courtney was so understanding and put my mind at ease. She provided updates and photos and even washed the bedding before she left! I will definitely book with her again. Thank you for your kindness and love of animals Courtney!
