About: I’ve been surrounded my animals my entire life. From farms to dogs to cats to reptiles. I don’t have the capacity to have my own at this time and want to share my love for animals through you. I have years of experience and am notably comfortable with large dogs as I grew up around Great Pyrenees Mountain Dogs, Great Danes, Golden Retrievers, Australian Shepard, Doodles, and Pitbulls. I currently work at the Mayo Clinic full time which is always 8 hours and never later than 5pm. I have weekends off. If your pet is comfortable being home for 8 hours alone, I would love to offer care during the week and can spend all my time during the weekend’s caring for your little one. I am only able to take care of pets in your home. I am comfortable with crates, pups that are potty training, anxious pets, hyper pets, and everything in between. At this time I do lack experience with females at their time of the month, but am not queasy about it and can easily follow any instructions given. I would be happy to spend most of my free time with your pet if that is the level of interaction they are used to. I love playing outside, walks, and cuddle time, but am able to notice your pets needs and comfortability and do my best to match that.

“I would like to first off start by stating that I went through five different interviews in order to find Marisa!! For the original meet and greet, I was worried as she was one of the last people we were interviewing from the Rover app. She was on time and made no excuses about being tardy, nor having to reschedule ultimately very reliable from the first time we met her after that she did come and do a test run with the drop in visit and did absolutely amazing. For example, my dog ended up urinating in my house and she had seen some Clorox wipes and obviously there was paper towels and other stuff there she could have left the urine on the ground and that would've actually been fine with me because I would've picked it up, but she actually went the extra step as to clean it up and use Clorox wipes and she threw it away!! So from the beginning, I knew she was absolutely amazing Ever since then she has been walking our dog and doing drop in visits. She has done multiple and I will continue to book with her because my dog is a puppy (1.5 years old) still and doesn't know how to control his excitement so to other people he can be scary, but to Marisa she was able to contain him get his behavior traits, lockdown and ultimately be able to already to train him in a certain routine that they have together which he absolutely loves Now that we won't be out of town coming up soon she may not be walking him or doing drop in visits as much but we will definitely be using her on a regular basis. I would 100% recommend for anyone that is needing drop in visits or pet care to hire Marisa because she is absolutely amazing and again my dog is 80 pounds plus being a Staffy mix with American pitbull he is super strong and can be very aggressive towards other dogs and she has been able to keep him under control. Thank you again Marisa for providing the most amazing outstanding care for our baby and loving him just as much as we do I will forever be grateful for finding you. Thank you again!!!”

My husband, Frank, and I currently do not have pets of our own, which means our home is a peaceful, quiet sanctuary. To provide the highest standard of care, I exclusively host only one family’s pets at a time. Your dog will enjoy our entire home, my undivided attention, and a calm environment free from the stress or unpredictability of multi-dog packing. Over the decades, I have raised and trained my own dogs, completed extensive training classes, and mastered the art of positive reinforcement and consistent behavioral care. I also served as a volunteer for the Arizona Humane Society, where I was one of only a few volunteers trusted to work across multiple animal departments (including dogs, cats, rabbits, and even fancy rats—ask me about them when we meet!). This enjoyable hands-on experience taught me to appreciate and cater to each animal's unique personality. I fully retired in January 2026, which gives me 100% flexibility to provide focused, attentive care. Whether it’s maintaining a strict feeding routine, enjoying fun neighborhood walks, or simply offering constant companionship, I treat every pet like member of our own family. It would be my honor and privilege to care for your pet! I'm currently retired and my only obligation is a volunteer shift that I pull off every Tuesday for just a few hours - normally from about 10:00 am until Noon or 1:00. I occasionally have appointments outside of the home or I may embark on a motorcycle ride a time or 2 a month or have lunch with friends but I'm often at home. I'm physically active - I walk, hike and do weight training so any size animal, big or small is of no concern. Your pet and I will be great pals! My home is ideal for overnight stays because I don't have pets of my own right now. When pets are inside our home, they are part of the family. They're inside when we're inside - watching TV, sleeping, eating dinner, or throwing the ball across the living room, and they have plenty of room to roam outside in the back yard when they want to stretch their legs. We have a large, fully fenced in yard (block wall) with a grassy area on which they can stretch out and sun bathe. We also have a doggie door they can use if they're trained to do so!

About: I am a K-2 math teacher and love to take care of dogs and humans! About: I’ve been surrounded my animals my entire life. From farms to dogs to cats to reptiles. I don’t have the capacity to have my own at this time and want to share my love for animals through you. I have years of experience and am notably comfortable with large dogs as I grew up around Great Pyrenees Mountain Dogs, Great Danes, Golden Retrievers, Australian Shepard, Doodles, and Pitbulls. I currently work at the Mayo Clinic full time which is always 8 hours and never later than 5pm. I have weekends off. If your pet is comfortable being home for 8 hours alone, I would love to offer care during the week and can spend all my time during the weekend’s caring for your little one. I am only able to take care of pets in your home. I am comfortable with crates, pups that are potty training, anxious pets, hyper pets, and everything in between. At this time I do lack experience with females at their time of the month, but am not queasy about it and can easily follow any instructions given. I would be happy to spend most of my free time with your pet if that is the level of interaction they are used to. I love playing outside, walks, and cuddle time, but am able to notice your pets needs and comfortability and do my best to match that.

About: I want to treat and care for your pets like my own. After 18 1/2 years I just had to say goodbye to my last cat! I am pet less now and that’s why caring for your pets will be even more special for me! I lost my precious dog & cat several years ago. My pets could not be replaced so now I want to care for yours. Animals rule our world so I want to provide you peace of mind with caring for yours while you're away. I am available for dog walking or even caring for your animals in your home. I now can watch your pet in my home if you prefer that! Letting your precious pet stay in the comfort of their own home is priceless plus your home will have security as well while you're away. Peace of mind for your fur baby & your home. I can also come over for play time & walks. l listen & comply with you & your pets needs. I'm prompt, trustworthy & reliable. I am retired now so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule and can comply with your and your pets needs and schedule I can stay in your home if your pet/s require that or make visits throughout the day to provide what ever care they may need.
“Danica provided top-notch care for my beloved little potty/boxer mix! She provided regular updates and photos, and was super adherent to the training and regimen that we have in place with our pup. She has a comfy house and I had fill confidence that he was able to live the normal, spoiled life that he’s accustomed to. Yet again, why someone would leave their dog a boarding facility (aka “dog jail) is beyond me.
