“Sydney was amazing!! I’ve never had a sitter that I liked so much and came back to everything so perfect. Sydney cares a lot about your pets and she shows it. She administered fluids to our senior cat with CKD like a pro! And our other cat needed meds which she isn’t a fan of but I didn’t hear a single issue about getting them administered. I could tell Sydney also read my pages of notes which I really appreciated as well. She also kept up with our crazy requests like making sure the heating pads were on everyday for our senior cat and keeping the litter box area tidy to avoid tracking around the house. But most importantly, our Litter Robot app alerted me that our senior kitty’s weight was decreasing (which is usual for her, especially when we travel) and Sydney took initiative to switch her food to another food we keep on hand for instances like this. She got her weight to stabilize and I didn’t even have to give her instructions or be on top of it. She’s definitely a professional and I will be booking her in the future. Thank you so much!”

About: Hi! 👋🏻 My name is Olivia, I’ve been with the Rover community for about 4 years now, but Happy Dog House Calls is where it all started. I joined the Rover community to meet new families who might need my pet sitting/house sitting services! I work with a wide variety of pets, not limited to just dogs and cats. I welcome most pets, including farm animals and complete farm care, as well as trained service animals. I'm more than happy to care for all of your furry or not so furry family members! I have a regular clientele of pets who have special needs, pets who experience anxiety or separation anxiety, some who are deaf or blind, others who are elderly, have injuries or health issues. These special needs sweethearts are always welcome on my schedule. My entire life I’ve had a passion for animals, so much so I’ve made it my career. I mean, who doesn’t want to spend all their time with animals!? I'm looking for opportunities to fulfill my passion, this is where you and your family come in! Upon scheduling, I will request a “Meet & Greet” at your home, which is required before any services are rendered. This gives your pet and I the opportunity to meet and get to know each other, this also lets your baby get familiar with my scent so I’m not a stranger entering your home. During this time we will go over your pets routine, any rules (whether they rule the house or you do, I’m here for it all), you can also show me around your home and go over any special instructions or medications. This is the ideal time to give me a key or code to enter (should we decide to work together). This visit is of course no charge. A little bit about each service: Walks- 30 min walk. Your choice of leisure walks with lots of sniffing and exploring (your dogs version of reading the morning news paper or as I call it, checking “Peemails”) or focused, brisk walks for exercise and winding down. Please have a leash and harness or collar, that fits correctly with no rips or tears. *Clients who are seeking my walking services, once the temperature reaches 84° I will not be available for walks, unless the morning or evening temp is at or under 84°, which I can walk with them then. The asphalt is too hot and heat stroke is a risk at that temperature. Exceptions are made for potty walks as long as there is shade. Drop-in Visits- 30 minute visit includes: Playtime, snuggles, feeding, medication administration, walking, potty breaks and treats. House sitting- 3 different options to choose from (please include which option will work best with your family in the initial booking request): Option 1. Overnight only- $150 1st dog (Additional dog $25): Arriving at your home around 9pm (8pm available) staying the night until around 6am the next morning. Includes plant watering, bringing in the mail, putting trash cans out and some other household duties. Option 2. Overnight with a mid day drop-in- $175 1st dog (Additional dog $25): Includes all of option 1, plus a drop-in visit midday for potty breaks, play and snuggles. Option 3. Daytime & Overnight stay- $250 1st dog (Additional dog $25): Includes all of options 1 & 2, plus coming and going throughout the rest of the day. *For Rover Holiday dates & puppy care, inquire about pricing ‼️Please include which house sitting option you’d like in your initial booking request‼️ I am available full time, early mornings, mid-days, late nights, even overnight stays, any length of stay, be it one day or 6 months long, this is my only job, allowing me to cater to you and your pets needs. I am willing to be as flexible as possible to make your time away from your pets 110% stress free for all of you. My availability is wide open, including most holidays (book early as these dates fill up fast) and some last minute requests. Same day bookings are available for walks and drop-ins, I typically require a 7 day notice for all bookings, but life can be unpredictable, so I offer same day bookings for an extra charge. Absolutely trust that all of my attention will be on your pets for the entirety of the stay. This gives me the opportunity to give you a detailed update on your pets during our visit (I will write these updates during the visit, as well as taking pictures). Each visit I will send over the 4-6 photos I took of each pet as well as the detailed update I wrote. Your home as well as your pets, will be treated with the utmost respect, I will treat them like they are my own. I’m very cautious of making sure gates, pool gates and locks are always secured for your pet and homes safety. Speaking of safety, security cameras are not just acceptable, they are encouraged, for your piece of mind as well as in case of an emergency, typically I can be to your home within minutes if you see something concerning.

My silky terriers have always been by my side, first Addi, and now Tater Tot. Addi made the journey with me from Chicago to coastal Southern California to Phoenix, and we spent those years road tripping, hiking, camping, kayaking, and exploring together. She lived a full life to 16, including managing Cushing's syndrome and eventually renal failure with consistent, attentive medical care in her final years. That experience taught me patient, individualized care, something I bring into every dog I look after. Tater Tot, now 3.5 years old, joined our family here in Arizona after Addi crossed the 🌈 bridge. I am 100% available for your pup all day long, so pet care fits naturally into my normal routine rather than being squeezed around it. Feeding, medication, and walks happen on your dog's exact schedule, not mine. Walks are timed around Phoenix heat, always in shaded areas and during the cooler parts of the day; your dog will always be walked or get outside for a potty break regardless of temperature. Between scheduled care, I'm present in the home for calm companionship, not leaving your dog alone for long stretches. For short-term stays and overnight boarding at my residence, here's what to expect. . Household members: . - My partner works remotely. Kind-natured, with years of experience caring for friends' and family's pets. He grew up with golden retrievers, goldendoodles, and other pets. - Tater Tot, our 3.5 year old silky terrier, completed private 1:1 obedience training with a professional, certified trainer. He is fully vaccinated, on tick/flea guard and preventative heartworm medication. Responds to basic commands, plays well with other dogs, and is polite around people and animals. Adaptable in new environments, walks well on a leash, comfortable in the car, and potty-pad/crate-trained. - We don't feed our pets people food due to health/diet restrictions, but let us know if yours enjoys sharing. - Vaccination and preventative med records available if you'd like to see them. . Living conditions: . -Secure 2,000 sq. ft. residence in a gated multi-unit community, single floor, clean and puppy-proofed. Bedrooms can be gated off, and there's room to setup a pen or crate in the living area. - Your dog will always be walked or go outside for potty breaks. Timing is adjusted around Phoenix heat conditions and matched to your dog's leash comfort and energy level. Getting outside requires an elevator or four flights of stairs, which I factor into scheduling. - If your pup is potty pad trained and does not wish to be walked in the extreme heat, we've created a dedicated, secure, and hygienic potty area on our balcony (3 ft railings), since we don't have an adjoining yard. - The neighborhood is dog-friendly and walkable, a mix of homes, apartments, shops, and restaurants. Hance Park is about a mile away, and if your pup is athletic, we can drive to any local Mountain Preserve for some on-leash hiking, weather permitting.

With experience of volunteering at shelters and raising both dogs and cats, I’m excited to take care of yours, too. I am currently only available for evening and weekend visits. I'm flexible with clear communication if you need an extra visit when travel is delayed. I'm very careful when opening and closing doors, as I know some pets can escape very easily. About: I’ve been caring for dogs for most of my life, including my own dog who is now 16 years old. I’ve had her since she was just 8 weeks old, so I understand the different stages of a dog’s life, from energetic puppies to elderly dogs who need extra patience, gentleness, and hands-on care. As she’s gotten older, I’ve helped with mobility support, special routines, medications, and making sure she stays comfortable and happy. My husband also grew up around puppies because his mom was a breeder, so I’ve been around litters, young dogs, and all the extra attention and care they need as well. I truly love both dogs and cats, and I naturally have a lot of patience with animals. I understand that every pet has their own personality, comfort level, and routine, and I always try to make them feel safe, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I run my business online and spend most of my time at home. Outside of going to the gym or running errands like grocery shopping, I’m usually home throughout the day, which allows me to give pets lots of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. A lot of my day already revolves around caring for my own little old lady, my 16 year old dog, whether that’s taking her outside, helping her stay comfortable, or giving her some extra lovin’ :) I genuinely enjoy being around animals, so caring for pets feels less like a task and more like something I naturally love to do. When caring for pets in someone else’s home, I always make it a priority to be respectful of both the pets and the space I’m in. I really value my own home and personal space, so I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy who will treat your home with the same care and respect. My focus is always on making sure your pets feel safe, loved, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Your home is your personal space, and I’m simply there to care for your sweet angels and keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible :)

With me your fur baby will be treated like my own & have a very good time with me! I do travel mostly on the weekends so if a date is unavailable just please reach out to me to make arrangements. Look forward to meeting you & your fur babies! I work a part time job 3 to 4 days out of the week for about 5 to 6 hours between the hours of 8/9am-2/3pm. I have an open house policy.
