“Ash is a lovely person and it carries through to care of our Tigger. It comes across in all she does when Tigger is in her care - from the timely and thoughtful comms - to updates/details of how Tigger is interacting with other pets, humans, eating/acclimating. She sent vids of Tigger out for walks; getting treats; interacting with other visitors. What's not like :-) I am at ease knowing Ash is helping us out when we are away without Tigger. Highly recommend her care *****5/5 star ***** Thank you for what you do. Sincerely, M”

“I’m so grateful to have found someone like Kayla to watch my cat Kiwi for a few days! She was kind, communicative, and clearly cared about making Kiwi feel comfortable and safe. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing Kiwi was in such good hands, she absolutely loved Kayla! I’d absolutely love to have her watch Kiwi again in the future! ❤️”

“Mitchell took excellent care of my dog, Nabi, and it was clear that she had a wonderful time with him. I knew she was in good hands, but I especially appreciated the photo and video updates while I was away. Seeing how happy and well cared for she was gave me a great deal of peace of mind. I would absolutely book with Mitchell again without hesitation!”

“I had an exceptional experience with Fanny while they took care of my French Bulldog, Remi. From the moment I dropped her off, I could tell she was in good hands. They are such a lovely couple with a deep understanding of French Bulldogs and their unique needs. Throughout her stay, they kept me updated with a bunch of videos and pictures, which brought me so much joy while I was out of town. It was heartwarming to see Remi so happy and well-cared for! What impressed me the most was their attentiveness; they even discovered Remi's pododermatitis, which I hadn’t noticed. Their proactive care really gave me peace of mind, knowing that she was getting the attention she needed. I highly recommend Fanny to anyone looking for a caring and knowledgeable dog-sitting experience. I will definitely be reaching out to them again in the future! Thank you for everything!”

“I highly recommend Blake as an attentive and loving pet caregiver! He watched my baby Marty during the we and everything went well. When we met Blake the first time , his dogs Remi and Honey started to play and that is very unusual for my dog . you can tell that Blake is a dog lover , while I was gone he sent me pictures and messages and I was very confident that he was taking good care of Marty THank you Blake I'll see you soon”

“Ezra & Reina were great hosts! They are very thoughtful about your pets feeding and care needs, and also shared pictures of Ryder enjoying his stay. I would definitely recommend them and will likely be rebooking for my next travel plans!”

“Riggs enjoyed his sleepover at Monica’s! Monica was so kind and took great care of our boy Riggs! We definitely recommend Monica and her family! We will be back!”

“Christian and Hana were wonderful! We got regular updates on how our pup was doing (complete with adorable photos) which made us feel so much better about being away from her. I'd definitely have Vee stay with them again!”

“Lauren and her family are wonderful hosts and took great care of Sadie. They sent photos and updates daily and were very communicative. I couldn’t ask for better hosts - I highly recommend Lauren !”

Crystal did an amazing job and made sure I had no worries. I will definitely be rebooking and recommending her to others. THANK YOU SO MUCH CRYSTAL TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY💞”

About: I’m excited to fulfill my fervent passion for caring for fluffy companions while making your family’s life easier! Given that I'm building clientele, here’s $20 off your first booking with Rover in exchange for your feedback: https://www.rover.com/sit/susanb60924 I aim to provide you and your dearest pet with the best experiences and outcomes to ensure they’re happy, healthy, and safe in any environment. My communication will be clear, and follow-ups will be provided promptly. I look forward to developing a special bond and doting on your beloved pet! tl;dr: You’ll notice that my profile is robust, which is intentional because 1) I want to ensure that I’m a good fit for your family and pet’s needs, and 2) It’s essential to have a thorough and holistic view of your pet to ensure you’ll have peace of mind and assurance while you’re away. Experience: My entire life, I’ve gravitated to all creatures, big and small, and I finally have the opportunity to indulge my love of pets while helping others simultaneously! My professional background in the corporate digital technology industry and 40+ years of personal experience caring for animals is rooted in growing up in a rural Midwestern farming community. My earliest memories consist of helping my parents raise and train award-winning show and service dogs for people who have disabilities, breeding and showing Clydesdales, loving on my cats/kittens, and tending to countless aquatic and insect friends. Even though I’m allergic to all animals, except for dogs, you’d still find me frolicking in nature, surrounded by farm animals/livestock, obsessively studying and doting on my animal family and other cherished critters. While living in Chicago, I volunteered at PAWS (the Midwest’s largest non-profit no-kill animal shelter). I consistently travel locally and cross-country to pet sit for friends and family and never pass up an opportunity to be in the company of the most precious and bestest boys/girls (of the animal species, that is). Due to diligently catering to my pets, I have robust awareness and knowledge and am tremendously experienced with all aspects of a pet’s life, personality, and needs: puppies, seniors, rescues, special needs, terminal illness, parasitic/intestinal ailments, medications and administering subcutaneous fluid IVs (renal failure), food allergies, specialized diets/restrictions, treating other medical conditions, training, behavioral issues, and grooming/hygiene best practices. About my pets: My sassy and exuberant silky terriers (previously Miss Addi and now, 2-1/2-year-old Tater Tot) have been/are always by my side. Each moved interstate with us—living the city life in Chicago, then coastal Southern California, and now Phoenix. We’ve created countless joy-filled memories exploring and adventuring (road trips to national parks, vacationing in cities, visiting friends, dining out, extended sniff-patrol strolls, hiking in the mountains, camping, walks on the beach, kayaking, and boating). While living in CA, unfortunately, Miss Addi endured Cushing’s syndrome and started experiencing strokes and seizures. Shortly after moving to AZ, she was then diagnosed with terminal renal failure. We were determined and committed to giving her the most comfortable and best life possible. The final two years of her journey required around-the-clock monitoring, regimented medical interventions, and customized care. While it was such a gut-wrenching experience, we diligently researched, sought out experts, and immersed ourselves in learning about the intricacies of senior/emergency/end-of-life hospice care and how to grieve and cope with the loss of a beloved companion. She lived a full life, we celebrated her 16th birthday and she chose to pass over the rainbow bridge later the same day. A month later, Tater Tot joined our little family. Though he has experienced his fair share of shenanigans at an early age, he is such a resilient, demure, and cheerful little fella! We love him to pieces; he is simply the best! Further Context: I truly empathize and understand the level of decision-making that goes into finding trustworthy, quality care for your beloved companions. Since Rover’s inception, I’ve relied on its service model (as a consumer) due to limitations with traditional dog boarders, and it often wasn’t an ideal solution for my dog’s needs. While we’ve had extremely positive experiences with daycare/boarding facilities, we’ve also dealt with miscommunication, irresponsible and dangerous situations that resulted in stress-induced weight loss, neglect, behavioral issues, illness, and emergency vet visits. With thorough vetting, Rover gave me peace of mind that my most precious family member’s well-being and special needs were prioritized while catering to my busy schedule and last-minute travel engagements. Rover allowed me to move seamlessly through the demands of life and was instrumental while transitioning to new cities. I am grateful for the Rover Petting community and their continued care for my fur babies throughout all phases of their lives. My schedule is flexible, and I am more than happy to work together on a mutually agreed upon routine and care plan for your pet. For short-term stays/overnight boarding at my residence, please consider the following. Household members: - My Partner works remotely. He grew up with golden retrievers, golden doodles, and many other pets and sincerely loves all animals. He is kind-natured and has years of experience caring for and watching friends and family pets. - Tater Tot, our 2-1/2-year-old Silky Terrier, completed private 1:1 obedience training with a professional, certified, and highly reviewed dog trainer. Same for Miss Addi. - Fully vaccinated, receives tic/flea guard and preventative heartworm medications - Tater Tot responds to basic commands, plays well with dogs, and acts politely around humans and other animals. He is highly adaptable in all environments, walks well on a leash, is comfortable on car rides, and is potty-pad/crate-trained. - We do not give our pets people food/snacks due to health/diet restrictions. However, let us know if your pups love partaking in human foods! Living conditions and details: - Secure 2,000 sq. ft. residence in a gated multi-unit living community - Single floor plan layout is kept clean and sanitary - Puppy-proofed (bedrooms can be gated off, and there's enough space for a small pen enclosure/crate in the living area) - There are two small balconies with 3 ft high railings. We created a dedicated potty area on one of the balconies. - We DO NOT have an adjacent/walkout yard - An elevator or four small flights of stairs are required for walks outside - There is a doggy run/area on the property, but it does not meet our quality control standards - The neighborhood is dog-friendly and walkable. It’s comprised of a mix of residential homes, multi-unit complexes, shops, and restaurants. - Weather permitting, walks to Hance Park are ~1 mi. away
“Never have I had my dog love someone like Marina. She knows how to work with dogs and turn them into sweethearts. I have tried so many different sitters and nobody compares to Marina. She put me at ease all week by sending me videos and giving me updates about my Cassie. Her yard is just incredible with lots of trees, shade, and grass for the dogs to play. She's the best and deserves 6 stars not 5. Thank you again.”

“A very wonderful person, takes real good care of your pup and will constantly give you pics and update multiple times a day. Definitely will leave our pup with her again if we need to. Thank you from us and Emma.”

“Sarra was super accommodating with our travel schedule. She took such great care of my two dogs. The best was getting pictures of them playing at a dog park which made me feel happy. When I brought my dogs home they were so tired they slept all night. She was sensitive to My dogs' needs and when she saw Ollie wasn't eating she found something he would eat.”

“Incredible experience, and will most certainly be back! This was the first time boarding my 9mo old pup, and could not have been happier with how it went. They sent daily updates and pics, and my pup came back home happy and pooped. 11/10 🙏🏻”

“Elizabeth is the best! She has watched my dog multiple times and has always done an amazing job. She’s reliable, caring, and the dogs like her own. I always feel at ease knowing my dog is in such good hands.”

Encanto dog parents share their Rover experiences
We couldn't have asked for a better experience! This was the first time we ever left our dog, Duke, with someone we didn't know, and we were naturally a little nervous since we were away for our wedding. From the start, they made us feel completely comfortable and at ease. They sent regular videos and updates, took Duke on walks, and gave him excellent care the entire time. Knowing that our boy was happy, safe, and well cared for allowed us to fully enjoy our wedding day without worrying. We will absolutely be booking with them again in the future. Highly recommend! 🐾

Lorin and her children are very easy going, nice, and responsible people. I like how everyone in the family is involved in taking care of the pets. My dog seemed immediately comfortable, both during the meet and greet at a nearby park, as well as when I dropped her off at their home. I could tell she had a good stay with them through the photos and updates, as well as being very calm and relaxed when I picked her up. Thank you Lorin and family!

My pup had the BEST time with Mark and fam. He got along wonderfully with their sweet dog ginger and two boys, it was a staycation for him! I felt very comfortable knowing he was being well taken care of and getting lots of play time in with a great family. Can’t wait to have them sit again!

Hope is a fantastic dog-sitter, and I cannot recommend her enough. She was very easy to work with, sent frequent photos and updates of my pup Winston, and has genuinely the sweetest Golden girl named Piper. My only wish is that we were not two ships passing in the night...I am soon moving away from Phoenix, and she is very new to the area so I am sad to say I won't be able to use her services again. But under different circumstances Hope (and Piper!) would certainly be my go-to dog-sitter!

Gideon had the best week with Fanny- a little vacation of his own hanging out with all the pups! You can they truly love animals in this home; Gideon got tons of attention, playtime, and care the whole time. We came home to one happy, relaxed pup. Trustworthy, loving, and highly recommend. We’ll definitely book again!
