Mackenzie is an exceptional caregiver to animals. She has fostered 10+ elderly dogs, bringing incredible patience, compassion, and attentiveness to each one. She has also cared for my family’s dogs over the years, and we’ve always felt completely confident leaving them in her care. Mackenzie has excellent instincts with animals communicates clearly, and is incredibly responsible. Most of all, she is the one of the most reliable people I know. She specifically fosters the oldest and frailest pups to give them a loving and safe home while they wait to find their forever home. So many people overlook the older dogs in favor of the younger ones and it's so refreshing to see her devotion to these sweet souls. As an example of how kind-hearted she is, she was fostering a dog that became severely ill. She was told by the vet that the Olive only had a few days to live. She was devastated at the idea that Olive would cross the Rainbow Bridge without having been adopted. She adopted Olive so that she would have a forever home while she was still here. Now almost 9 months later, Olive is doing amazing and has ended up in the best home. Anyone would be lucky to have Kenzie looking after their dogs.
