“I had a great experience with this family while they cared for my two dogs for nearly a week (Sunday through Friday night). the family was kind and engaging with my boys upon our initial meet and greets. they mentioned that my chihuahua settled in right away. while my Doberman, on the other hand, can be more cautious and initially came across as unsure and growly. Despite being concerned at first, they handled him with patience and understanding. They gave him the time and space he needed to feel more comfortable too. I really appreciated that they worked through the adjustment period with care. It’s clear they made a genuine effort to keep both dogs happy and safe. About: I've owned dogs since I was a kid. I currently own one 25 lb shihtzu and a 22 lb shihtzu / chihuahua mix. My house is dog friendly with a doggie door and fenced yard. The dog door goes to a coyote proof dog run/large kennel to protect dogs from wildlife and keep them from pool. I have a large crate if I need to use it. I enjoy taking care of and playing with dogs so it comes naturally for me. I walk my dogs daily to the park near my house and like to play fetch with them in the house when the weather is not great for being outside. I recently rescued a husky mix puppy and have been working on his training and mental and physical exercise. I love taking him on walks and hikes and would love for your dog to join us! I love fur babies and want help people when they need to be away from their beloved pets. Most recently, I helped sit a household with four elderly dogs with various medical needs. I have experience giving medications to dogs, as well as dogs with disabilities like blindness and deafness. Ideally with pet sitting, my wife and I would meet the dogs and/or cats before we pet sit to learn their specific needs, and learn where the food and treats hide. Depending on the pets and the weather, we like long hikes/walks and short trips around the neighborhood. You actually receive two pet sitters with me. My spouse will be home most of the time while I'm at work. I'm also a certified pet sitter with Pet Sitters International. I'm a Vocational Specialist, and my wife and I work together when petsitting, so she's there when I'm not. We work together and it's a team business. I like to learn the current routine of your beloved pet(s) and try to keep their routine for their comfort. I make sure I learn your house rules and will not let those puppy dog eyes persuade me to let them on the couch unless you say it is ok. I have my Pet First Aid Course and am taking other courses to increase my Pet Safety knowledge.

About: I’ve grown up caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities, so I know every pup has their own needs and quirks. I’m great with energetic dogs who need lots of play and long walks, and I’m just as comfortable giving extra patience and love to senior pups. About: I have taken care of small and big dogs since I was little. Our family has had a pug, as well as 3 labs throughout my lifetime. I love taking care of pets as well as exercising them! I work full-time, so evenings or weekends work best for me! If needed, I could let dog out during day during the week. I am flexible! I can take care of your part either at my place or yours. “I had a great experience with this family while they cared for my two dogs for nearly a week (Sunday through Friday night). the family was kind and engaging with my boys upon our initial meet and greets. they mentioned that my chihuahua settled in right away. while my Doberman, on the other hand, can be more cautious and initially came across as unsure and growly. Despite being concerned at first, they handled him with patience and understanding. They gave him the time and space he needed to feel more comfortable too.
