About: Hi! I’m Katie, and caring for animals has always been one of my favorite things. I know how much our pets mean to us because mine truly are family. At home, I have three furry best friends: Winnie, my playful mini Goldendoodle, Frankie, my sweet Australian Shepherd/Husky mix, and Elliott, my lovable white cat. They’ve taught me that every pet has their own unique personality, routine, and way of feeling safe and loved. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, snuggles on the couch, or simply having a calm companion nearby, I’ll make sure they receive the same love, patience, and attention I give my own pets. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your dog, and my goal is to make both you and your pup feel completely comfortable while you’re away. I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your dog is happy, safe, and being treated like part of the family. I can’t wait to meet your best friend and give them a home away from home! I’m a hybrid worker spending only 4 hours a day in office! While away, dogs will have access to a fenced yard and inside my home as I have a doggie door! I have two dogs and a cat that are incredibly loving and will keep your fur baby company while you are away. I am a homebody to my core so will be giving your dog ample love and attention. As a fellow rover user, I know how important it is to trust that your dog is being welcomed into a safe environment and commit to delivering on that!
About: Hi! We’re a husband-and-wife team who both work from home, which means your pup will have lots of company, attention, and love throughout the day. We recently lost our own beloved dog unexpectedly after an illness, and while we miss her dearly, we have so much love left to give. Becoming Rover sitters feels like a meaningful way to welcome other dogs into our home and treat them like family. Our home is very dog-friendly, with a fenced backyard and a pool for pups who enjoy swimming. Dogs are welcome on the couch and can sleep in bed with us if that’s what makes them happiest. We also have experience caring for a senior dog and supporting a dog with seizures, so we understand the importance of patience, consistency, and paying close attention to each dog’s individual needs. We can’t wait to meet your pup and give them a safe, comfortable, and very loved home away from home! We both work from home full time and have plenty of time through out the day to give your dog so much love, care, and playtime! When pets stay in our home, we treat them like part of the family. Since we both work from home, they’ll have plenty of companionship, supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and affection throughout the day. We follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise needs, and any special preferences.

Whether your cat is playful and social or shy and independent, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. We have a nice community for walks and my dog looks forward to them all the time. I do have a crate if that was needed but it is not necessary if your dog is behaved and potty trained. My dog uses bells on the doors when he needs to go out. We Never let our dog outside unattended. They're allowed up on the furniture and to sleep with us. They are part of the family.
“Evan is a true animal person. He’s super calm. We don’t trust just anyone with our dog, she’s young and needs extra nurturing and understanding. It was weird how fast he understood her and we felt totally safe leaving her with him on his property that is very peaceful. It was a great day for Kaida and we are very grateful, she’ll be back this week! Very relieved to find someone new to trust with our baby girl!!”

About: Hi, I’m Erika! I’ve been an animal lover my whole life and have years of experience caring for pets of all sizes. While I happily care for dogs and cats of any breed, I especially enjoy working with large, high-energy dogs. I currently have a rescued Husky/Shepherd mix named Dune, and we’ve spent hours training, hiking, walking, and working on mental enrichment together. Whether your dog loves long walks, trail adventures, fetch, or simply plenty of attention, I’m happy to tailor my care to their personality and energy level. If your pup enjoys canine company and you’re comfortable with it, I’d love to bring them along on one of our walks or hikes! Growing up, I had a German Shepherd/Lab mix for 11 years, followed by helping care for a Husky/Lab mix and fostering another Husky before adopting Dune. These experiences have made me comfortable handling strong, intelligent breeds and given me a deep appreciation for each dog’s unique personality. As a millennial dog mom, I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and my goal is to make them feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I’ll treat them and love them like one of my own and keep you updated every step of the way with photos and messages so you can have complete peace of mind, exactly as I would want when I’m away. I am available before, sometimes during, and after my 9-5 job, or on most weekends, to walk or check in on your pup! I’m also happy to host pets in my home, but would love a meet and greet to make sure they get along with Dune. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I know every pet has their own routine, so I take the time to learn their schedule, preferences, and any special instructions to help them feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. When caring for pets in your home, I’ll treat both your pet and your home with the same respect I would my own. I’ll follow your feeding, walking, medication, and training routines, keep your home clean and secure, and always make sure doors, gates, and leashes are safely handled. I’ll also send regular photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind while you’re away. If your pet is staying with me, they’ll be treated like part of the family. They’ll have plenty of exercise, playtime, enrichment, and, of course, lots of love and attention. I believe in positive reinforcement, close supervision, and creating a calm, safe environment where every pet can feel at home. And yes, they are allowed on furniture in this household :)

About: I'm was professional pet trainer at a major retail chain. I've lived with a dog, cat, chinchilla, hamster, bird, or fish most of my life. I love fur babies and want help people when they need to be away from their beloved pets. Most recently, I helped sit a household with four elderly dogs with various medical needs. I have experience giving medications to dogs, as well as dogs with disabilities like blindness and deafness. Ideally with pet sitting, my wife and I would meet the dogs and/or cats before we pet sit to learn their specific needs, and learn where the food and treats hide. Depending on the pets and the weather, we like long hikes/walks and short trips around the neighborhood. You actually receive two pet sitters with me. My spouse will be home most of the time while I'm at work. I'm also a certified pet sitter with Pet Sitters International. I'm a Vocational Specialist, and my wife and I work together when petsitting, so she's there when I'm not. We work together and it's a team business. I like to learn the current routine of your beloved pet(s) and try to keep their routine for their comfort. I make sure I learn your house rules and will not let those puppy dog eyes persuade me to let them on the couch unless you say it is ok. I have my Pet First Aid Course and am taking other courses to increase my Pet Safety knowledge.

“Truly amazing service & care. My flight time was moved up and Julija took all worries away as she picked up my dog on last minute notice. We received pictures and videos while we were away, without asking for them. We definitely recommend Julija and her five star service. Thank you Julija!”

“Darlene & David watched over our boy Mars for a weekend as a test run for an upcoming two week trip. Mars is an older boy with a need for a quiet household with lots of attention and he found that here. So nice to know we can enjoy it to without worrying about Mars!! He came home happy and calm. ?”
“Shushma was great! She kept us up-to-date on daily activities and how our dog was doing. I really appreciated all the photos and videos. It was nice to see that our dog was having fun with the other pups. I felt like Lucy was being well taken care of, which helped me to relax and have more fun on our trip. I would highly recommend Shushma, and we plan to use her services again.”

“I needed a one-nighter as I am camping near by and wanted to see a show. I think it may have been one of the better nights that Jax had on this trip. It wasn't just an overnight stay he was adopted into the family for 24 hours and he was loved on a lot. I highly recommend Andrew and Ginny.”

“Jason was very easy to communicate and work with. He was flexible with drop off and pick-up time, responsive over text/messaging, and he sent great pictures that made us feel at ease. Highly recommend Jason for boarding!”
“Kaitlyn and her family were wonderful! At our meet and greet before booking we could tell how caring they all were with our dog. We felt very comfortable with the whole family. Kaitlyn sent pictures every day and we could tell that Maggie was relaxed and comfortable and felt right at home! We are so very thankful to have found a loving family to care for our dog while we are away.”

“My senior dog, Binny, was well taken care of and in good hands. Sipeng was also very accommodating with our schedule and changes we needed to make. He sent us pictures, and our dog did not want to leave! We will rebook in the future!”

“Lexi had a great overnight stay with Rosy! She took her for walks & sent photos and videos of Lexi's interactions with Rosy & her family. I have already booked another stay with Rosy.”

“So glad to have found Diana. It was so nice to find someone who could provide a safe and calm environment for our dog and she took great care of her. Great communication and sent us updates with pictures which was appreciated!”

“Sierra and Jason were fantastic. They were able to accommodate us for a last minute trip and my pups had a great time. They are very communicative and I got daily updates and lots of photos! Pups were smiling in all the photos and it was so nice knowing they were getting so much love while we were gone :)”

“This house and the family were perfect for our active pups. After a day and night at Jeremy’s farm our dogs have been sleeping all afternoon. They were willing to play with our dogs and give them a safe space to stay over night without the worry of whether they will have an accident in someone’s house or chew something up. We will definitely be back!”

“Kaitlin was the BEST! Don’t hesitate to book with her! She was perfect for our pup and her dog Koko was the perfect playmate for her. Her updates and obvious love for dogs is so obvious. We will be sure to rebook with her in the future. I have never had my dog come home with all her food gone - she usually doesn’t eat well when we are away… BUT she came home with everything gone which shows how comfortable she was there. Kaitlin is amazing in every way! :)”

“My puppy had a wonderful time with Kelli and her dogs. She is still learning but was able to get along with the other girls and I came back to a happy girl”

“Jenny was great with Luck and Flash. Provided meaningful exchange when getting to know my dogs... ...I will continue look for her availability in future boarding. My dogs a older nowadays and easy going. And Jenny provided just care in her lovely home.”

“Alec is a great sitter. My aussie/healer mix Pete loved spending time with him. Alec too great care of him and made him and us feel comfortable and assured good care would be given. He made sure to follow on and confirm booking as well as pick up and drop off times. And while Pete was in his care Alec shared photos of Pete. I highly recommend Alec and his great service and care he showed for our pet. Although I didn't see the inside of Alec's home I felt his environment was safe but I could tell from the external set up of his home that Pete would be secure in his environment.”

“The best! It was like a playdate for my boy. He had a blast. Xavier was very communicative. Received updates and felt confident Coop was in good hands. He loved a break from apartment life to enjoy the backyard. Will definitely rebook when Coop needs a sitter again. Thanks Xavier!”

“Abby had a great time at Jeanne’s house. Jeanne is great with dogs, lots of outdoor play time. She sent pictures and updates twice a day. Abby fit right in with her family. I will gladly use her again on my next trip.”
“My dog had a wonderful stay with Kristin and family. Kristin and Steve are definitely pet-friendly and thoughtful. They took the time to get to know my dog and allowed for his weirdness. They have a dog who is super friendly and made my dog feel welcomed. Kristin was really great about sending me photos and keeping making me feel comfortable that my dog was happy. Plus, they live in a nice neighborhood, with little traffic and lots of good walking trails. My dog loved staying with them, he would give them 5-stars, easy. I highly recommend Kristin (and Steve) and will happily use them again.”
