About: Husband and wife duo. Rachel has worked in rescue, veterinary, and at boarding/training facilities since 2006 and Shawn is a strong leader who brings the rough-housing and playtime energy. We are the proud parents of a 6 year old golden retriever named Oscar who joins us when the job allows for it. He is a gentle soul who gets along with every dog he meets. We have experience working with dogs of all breeds, temperaments, and health statuses. We are able to provide dogs with a variety of activities based on their needs and activity level. From puppies to seniors and everything in between, we guarantee a safe and enriching experience for your pets, so you can rest easy knowing that your pets are getting all the love and attention they deserve. We are just starting out in the pet care industry here in Arizona, and we hope you'll consider us for your pet care needs. I am home full time. Taking care of pets is my daily and weekly routine. I have plenty of time to spend with any pet in my care! I give my full attention to whichever pets I am taking care of. I keep them safe, cool, watered, fed, loved, clean, happy, and healthy!

“Mya is very good with Zeke We were a little Concern at 1st because Zeke is so large and is a puller when it comes to people walking him but she is fantastic with him she has no trouble I would recommend her at any time”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember. My mom bred dogs while I was growing up, so I was involved in their daily care from a young age. I helped feed, groom, socialize, exercise, and care for puppies and adult dogs, giving me hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. As an adult, I’ve continued to care for pets for family and friends and understand the importance of providing a safe, loving, and reliable environment. I am a Registered Nurse and currently work only three days per week, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and spend plenty of quality time with the pets in my care. My husband works from home full-time, so there is typically someone available throughout the day to provide supervision, companionship, potty breaks, playtime, and attention. Our home is located in a gated community, providing an added level of safety and security. We have a fenced backyard where dogs can safely go outside for fresh air, potty breaks, and supervised playtime. Pets staying with us will spend most of their time indoors with the family, receiving plenty of attention, companionship, and exercise.

About: AVA certified with experience in animal care (only dogs and cats), and a 100 hour externship at a vet clinic. I absolutely love all animals no matter how big or small. I am currently on a summer break with plenty of time to share with your furry friends! I have a very flexible schedule 24/7. If it’s a vacation, I am happy to stay with your pet as long as needed. I have a gated backyard with enough room for running around and doing duties. I do have a friendly, vaccinated, and nurtured dog waiting to play. There is a park nearby to go on walks as well. I am good at following tasks/orders and boundaries. I will give my 100% to the task at hand and keep your baby/ies safe and sound.
“Morgan has been wonderful for my Annie, who is 11 and not used to being home alone. She is so happy and calm on the days Morgan comes to play with her. I appreciated all of Morgan’s thorough questions about how to best care for Annie and the time she took to make sure she had a good rapport with her. Highly recommend!”

“Really enjoyed my first experience with Casandra on the Rover App. She was polite, kind, welcoming, and complimentary toward Chaco. All and all a very pleasant experience. I booked with her for all three of the days we needed. She helped me figure out the app too.”

About: I have had responsibilities for many different types of animals. In my experience I have personally had dogs, cats, fish, hamsters and birds. Professionally, I have cared for dogs and cats, horses, goats, lizards, birds (both the household variety as well as falcons), cows and other various farm animals. I work a full time 8:30-5:30 job m-f. Depending on how close your home is to 99th and Camelback I'm able to do drop in visits before I go into work. I am generally available everyday after 5:30 for drop-ins. My weekends are usually completely open. Due to having a shared living space and a dog that is sometimes overprotective I only offer care in your home. I am open to just doing quick stopping or if your pet requires more attention, I willing to do longer playtime or even full days if it fits in with my work schedule.
About: I have over a decade of experience in providing a wide range of care to a variety of pets for family, friends, coworkers, and new connections. For the time being my schedule is very flexible. My flexible schedule allows me to tailor care around the pet’s routines, ensuring they receive the attention, exercise, and companionship they need at any time. When caring for pets, I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for each animal. This includes providing proper feeding routines based on their specific dietary needs, ensuring they have fresh water at all times, and exercising as needed. Above all, I strive to give each pet individual attention, showing them affection and companionship, to ensure they feel loved and secure while their owners are away.

About: I have 20 years of experience caring for animals of all kinds mostly dogs, cats, horses. I have my bachelors in animal science and have been around animals all my life. I’m experienced at giving medications also. I currently have 2 dogs and a cat, but all are very friendly and UTD on vaccines etc. My job is part-time hours and between my partner and I we have a lot of free time on our hands for extra fur babies. I have more than enough room at our house to care for your fur child, and can easily have room to crate your baby if desired. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
