About: My family bred dogs when I was young, and I became very familiar with what was required to care for them at every stage of their lives. I've been around both cats and dogs all my life. I'm a full time freelancer and enjoy the freedom of being able to set my schedule at my discretion. Pet care is just another way I get to work for myself. Pets like to be familiar with their environments. If something changes about their environment, their curiosity shines through. Whether being cared for from home, or in my space, I give pets plenty of time to familiarize themselves with my presence. After that familiarity is established, then I can cater to as much or as little as a pet needs!

3. Therese G.
About: Every dog has their own personality- like humans. Understanding body language and how to approach each dog is vital to developing friendship and trust. Absolutely love walking my dog and other dogs! I remember the excitement of my first time walking a dog as a young child and still today. As soon as my almost 9-year-old Maltese named Muffin sees or hears his leash, he runs to the door spinning in circles and barking with joy. This is something each dog deserves, especially with someone fun and active. There is more to dog walking than just walking, safety matters. Patience, love, and consistency are key while spending time with man's best friend. I am currently a full time surgical student. Having a job with a company developed schedule that matches my day to day life is difficult with what I study. Dog walking aligns perfectly with my schedule, and fits perfectly into my free time hours, while also giving me the opportunity to step outside! I have a gated yard with large play/running space for Muffin to exercise in throughout the day. I have a variety of toys in his closet. When he sits in front of the closet door, he’s letting me know he wants to play, and I open the door and allow him to select the toy he wants. When on walks, my eyes are everywhere. I keep him on my right side and he likes to walk at my pace. I prefer to avoid walking too close to or near other dogs, no matter their size, as my dog can be stand-offish near other dogs. This feels safest for me and my dog! We also love to kayak.

15. Nyjha M.
About: Hi! My name is Nyjha, I have three dogs named Max, Winston, and Loki. I’ve had Max for 11 years and Loki and Winston are new additions to my family as we've had them for 2 years now. We are a very athletic family so we do spend a lot of our time outdoors but we also spend a grand amount of time at the house. We have lots of toys and LOTS of love to go round! We go out on walks every morning, we prefer that the dogs are not on the furniture. We feed our dogs “Just 6" dog food, if you’d prefer your dog to have a certain kind of food please bring it for the dog. We do ask that you bring a leash, a bed (if it is preferred by the owner as we do have extra beds), food, any types of medication needed for the dog, and a happy dog :) I'm a college student visiting home for the summer so I spend most of my day if not the entire day at home with my dogs and may go out on occasion to run some errands I have three dogs to keep your dog company and we do have a crate if your dog needs one! There is a dog park nearby that we walk to to play with the dogs. They are fed twice a day with treats in between their meals. We also have a separate room incase your dog is not well around other dogs.
16. Xianna L.
“She was wonderful to work with, very professional and followed directions well! Will be booking with her again when needed :)”
17. Carlene L.
“I am writing this on behalf of a very good boy, Arthur, our pet Shiba. Carli is patient and attentive with our Shiba. These can be challenging pups to work with, especially someone they aren't used to, but over the weeks she has walked our Arthur he's now excited for his excursions with her. She communicates well, and sometimes even sends us a picture of him getting his zoomies out in one of the parks he enjoys visiting with her. 5/5 would recommend to anyone. A true animal friend and caretaker.”
18. Mya G.
“Mya is very good with Zeke We were a little Concern at 1st because Zeke is so large and is a puller when it comes to people walking him but she is fantastic with him she has no trouble I would recommend her at any time”
19. Taylor Nikole R.
“My intention was to try out several local dog walkers and pick one to be our go-to dog walker/sitter. Taylor was our first and I don't need to look any further. Taylor was awesome and is Mojo's new BFF. I felt:very comfortable that Mojo was in good hands and we'll be in contact with Taylor again.”
