About: As someone who has lived in a household animated by dogs for most of her life, I have many years of experience caring for them too. Whether your dog is shy or outgoing, active or more leisurely, puppy or adult or elderly - I'm confident I can provide safe, fun and affectionate experience for them while you're away. I'm happy to walk your dog and/or just visit with them at your home. I can bathe your dog, administer medications if needed, and send text/photo updates about my visit with your pet upon request as well. *Because i work full-time and only take Rover bookings on a part-time basis, I'm available during very early am (5-630am) or late afternoon (3-6pm) hours only. My own dog is an indoor dog and very much part of the family. We take special care with his diet and give him the daily walks/exercise he needs - I'll show the same care, concern and affection with your pup too!
“Elizabeth was amazing dog sitting both my dogs. She followed all the instructions and requests, she even went above and beyond sent pictures of my pups. Would definitely have her watch my pups in the future and recommending her to friends and family.”

About: What sets me apart is my extensive hands-on experience caring for pets with a wide range of needs, from energetic young animals to seniors requiring extra attention. I volunteered at a rescue shelter for three years, where I learned how to care for pets with different temperaments, build trust with anxious animals, and provide consistent, compassionate care. I’ve also cared for military families’ pets for five years, so I understand the importance of reliability, communication, and maintaining routines while owners are away. In addition, I have experience caring for senior cats with kidney disease and other medical conditions, including administering medications and monitoring their comfort and health. I focus on creating a safe, calm, and loving environment so both pets and owners feel completely at ease. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I’m very active and regularly go to the gym, so walks, playtime, and staying active with pets are something I truly enjoy. I also work from home 2–3 times a week, which gives me flexibility and availability for daytime check-ins, walks, and companionship. I’m available for morning, evening, and weekend care as well, and I make it a priority to keep pets on a consistent routine so they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owners are away. Safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets in either my home or a client’s home. I always follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any medical or special care instructions. I take time to build trust with each pet so they feel safe and relaxed, and I closely monitor their behavior, appetite, and overall well-being. In a client’s home, I treat the space with respect, keep things clean and secure, and provide regular updates so owners feel confident while they’re away. My goal is to create a calm, loving, and stress-free environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for at all times!

About: I have grown up with animals my whole life including dogs, cats, rabbits, and chickens. I spent time volunteering with the humane shelter in Flagstaff walking dogs. I am currently in summer break and will be free all summer with extremely flexible hours. I spend my free time now with my personal animals. I have 2 Australian shepherds that are high energy. I spend the day playing fetch with them in our yard, walking them at night, changing their water multiple times a day and feeding them twice. In addition, I care for my cat who is geriatric so he spends most of his time sleeping. I spend time with him on the couch and make sure his food and water is always filled.
“Richelle was an absolutely exemplary sitter and we could not be happier with how well our pets were cared for. From the initial contact to iron out booking details to the daily check-ins Richelle kept an open line of contact which, for first time Rover users, was so incredibly helpful and put us at ease which made it easier to actually enjoy our trip. 20/10 would recommend Richelle but also want to gatekeep her because she is an absolute gem and we will definitely be reaching out to her the next time we plan any future trips!”

“Storm was very nice lady. She took my last-minute booking request and my dog loved her. My dog is 16years old and cannot see well and cannot walk well. Storm was very gentle and I felt comfortable leaving my dog in her care”

“Leslie is so great! She fed and administered meds to our two kitties for four days while we were away on a trip. We could tell right away at our meet & greet that she is very good with animals. Even our normally shy / skittish kitty came out of the back room and went right up to Leslie to greet her. When we got home my wife commented on how good our one kitty who receives meds looked, and they both were happy and relaxed; none of the complaining ‘I’m mad because you’ve been gone!’ Meowing that we used to get upon returning. Thank you, Leslie! Highly recommended, and we definitely will be booking her again if we can!”

“Cassandra was great with our kitty Machi! He really enjoyed her company while we were away. She was very thorough and thoughtful with her updates. Would definitely recommend!”

“I am so glad I found Holly. She is excellent! My dog Simon loves her. She is reliable and responds very quickly. She takes her time with Simon walking him, giving him time outside and spending time loving on him. Her notes of the visit are detailed. FShe gives him alot of love. I highly recommend her !”

About: I've grown up with cats and dogs in my life since I was born. I was practically raised by two lovely German Shepherds and have only fostered a deeper love of animals the older I've gotten. I have housesat for relatives and taken care of their dogs in their absence. I have experience with taking care of young pups/kittens and currently take care of my precious elderly chihuahua, Ellie. I also have some experience taking care of reptiles, such as turtles and bearded dragons. I'm free almost any given time so long as I'm given a day or so of communication. Happy to work with yours and your pets' schedules! I take great care to watch for an animals body language and react accordingly. I can crate most dogs so long as they're trained for it. I'm also available to message for updates 24/7 if you want updates on how your fur babies are doing.

“Lauren was awesome! I headed out of town on a last minute business trip and Lauren was so easy and professional that I had absolutely no worries while I was away.”
“Kathy did a great job taking care of my cat while I was out of town. She communicated consistently and always gave me updates on how my cat was doing. I would definitely book again!”

About: I’ve always been someone who enjoys being around animals, especially dogs, and over time I’ve gained a lot of hands-on experience caring for them. I’m a responsible and patient person, which has helped me build trust with dogs of different sizes and personalities. Whether it’s energetic dogs that need lots of playtime or calmer ones that just want attention, I’m able to adjust and make them feel comfortable. I’ve helped with feeding, walking, cleaning up after them, and making sure they feel safe and cared for. Being around dogs has also helped me grow as a person—it’s taught me how to be more attentive, understanding, and consistent. I pay close attention to their behavior so I can tell when they’re excited, nervous, or need something. I’m also reliable and take my responsibilities seriously, so I make sure any dog I’m caring for is well looked after. Overall, working with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy, and it shows in the way I interact with them. I have plenty of time to take care of dogs because i currently don’t have a job. This will give me plenty of time to take care of dogs! I live in an apartment that has a dog park that is perfect for all pets. Pets will be taken to play and to use the bathroom.
“As always, Courtney is a rockstar 😸💕 One of my kitties has been having medical complications that didn’t get resolved by the time I had to leave for a vacation I’d been planning for months. Courtney has been so patient, communicative, and WILDLY helpful— she was able to give our sick baby his laundry list of medications while handling her own work schedule on top of it all. Plus keeping my other two kitties happy and fed, PLUS monitoring my aquarium. Truly a lifesaver and a blessing of a sitter. I’m so happy to report that while I was gone Bruno’s health actually has drastically improved since when I saw him a few days ago 😁 I was so worried about leaving him for a few days, but I also knew Courtney has it handled. And did she ever!! So thrilled and the kitties are too, thank you so much again!!!”

About: Former kennel tech, longtime shelter volunteer, and Fear Free certified pet caregiver here! I have a few years of hands on experience with animals of all kinds - from shy rescue cats and nervous dogs to high-energy puppies, confident working breeds, gentle seniors, reptiles, small animals, and even pets with medical or behavioral needs - I've done it! Whether your companion needs slow patience, structured enrichment, medication, or just a whole lost of love, I'm fully equipped and confident in providing it. Animals have always been the center of my life. I currently share my home with my own little crew - two snakes, two tarantulas, my dog Diego - and they're truly my babies. I care for every pet with the same level of gentleness, attention, and respect that I give my own. As a kennel technician, I was responsible for administering medications and vaccines, performing daily health checks, monitoring behavior, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for puppies. I'm also experienced with horses from my time volunteering at Ponderosa Stables for a year (and from taking horseback riding lessons throughout my childhood). On top of that, I spent nearly two years volunteering with the Arizona Humane Society, working with both cats and dogs on socialization, enrichment, and safe handling. Because of this wide range of experience, I'm comfortable with pets of all sizes, ages, and temperaments - nervous, reactive, energetic, independent, or snuggle. I read body language carefully, go at their place, and meet them exactly where they are. Whatever your pet needs, I adapt to their personality, routine, and comfort level. ☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆ Animals are already apart of my everyday routine. From my own pets, to helping others' with theirs, I am around pets constantly. I am an online student as of right now, so I have open availability! ☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆ I follow a Fear Free approach (a certification I received while volunteering at the Arizona Humane Society) to keep pets calm, safe, and stress-free in their own environment. In your home, I stick closely to your routines - feeding times, potty breaks, walking routes, and house rules. I will make sure to secure all doors, crates, double-check collars, harnesses, and leashes (and bring extra) before walks, and monitor for any signs of stress or discomfort. Your pet will always be treated with respect when they're with me. I see my own pets as my babies. I will ensure that yours feel the same way. They will never be unloved by me. ☆゚.*・。゚☆゚.*・。゚☆

Whether it’s playtime, feeding, administering medicine, or just giving extra snuggles, I treat every pet like family. Pet care is a natural part of my daily and weekly routine. I plan my schedule to make sure pets get consistent attention, whether it’s regular walks, feeding times, play, or check-ins. I’m used to early mornings for feeding or bathroom breaks, and I’m flexible with evening routines like walks, medication, or just spending time giving them love and attention. I also send updates and photos, so families feel confident knowing their pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.
