About: As someone who has lived in a household animated by dogs for most of her life, I have many years of experience caring for them too. Whether your dog is shy or outgoing, active or more leisurely, puppy or adult or elderly - I'm confident I can provide safe, fun and affectionate experience for them while you're away. I'm happy to walk your dog and/or just visit with them at your home. I can bathe your dog, administer medications if needed, and send text/photo updates about my visit with your pet upon request as well. *Because i work full-time and only take Rover bookings on a part-time basis, I'm available during very early am (5-630am) or late afternoon (3-6pm) hours only. My own dog is an indoor dog and very much part of the family. We take special care with his diet and give him the daily walks/exercise he needs - I'll show the same care, concern and affection with your pup too!

About: What sets me apart is my extensive hands-on experience caring for pets with a wide range of needs, from energetic young animals to seniors requiring extra attention. I volunteered at a rescue shelter for three years, where I learned how to care for pets with different temperaments, build trust with anxious animals, and provide consistent, compassionate care. I’ve also cared for military families’ pets for five years, so I understand the importance of reliability, communication, and maintaining routines while owners are away. In addition, I have experience caring for senior cats with kidney disease and other medical conditions, including administering medications and monitoring their comfort and health. In a client’s home, I treat the space with respect, keep things clean and secure, and provide regular updates so owners feel confident while they’re away. My goal is to create a calm, loving, and stress-free environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for at all times!

About: I have grown up with animals my whole life including dogs, cats, rabbits, and chickens. I spent time volunteering with the humane shelter in Flagstaff walking dogs. I am currently in summer break and will be free all summer with extremely flexible hours. I spend my free time now with my personal animals. I have 2 Australian shepherds that are high energy. I spend the day playing fetch with them in our yard, walking them at night, changing their water multiple times a day and feeding them twice. In addition, I care for my cat who is geriatric so he spends most of his time sleeping. I spend time with him on the couch and make sure his food and water is always filled.

“Leslie is so great! She fed and administered meds to our two kitties for four days while we were away on a trip. We could tell right away at our meet & greet that she is very good with animals. Even our normally shy / skittish kitty came out of the back room and went right up to Leslie to greet her. When we got home my wife commented on how good our one kitty who receives meds looked, and they both were happy and relaxed; none of the complaining ‘I’m mad because you’ve been gone!’ Meowing that we used to get upon returning. About: I've grown up with cats and dogs in my life since I was born. I was practically raised by two lovely German Shepherds and have only fostered a deeper love of animals the older I've gotten. I have housesat for relatives and taken care of their dogs in their absence. I have experience with taking care of young pups/kittens and currently take care of my precious elderly chihuahua, Ellie. I also have some experience taking care of reptiles, such as turtles and bearded dragons. I'm free almost any given time so long as I'm given a day or so of communication. Happy to work with yours and your pets' schedules! I take great care to watch for an animals body language and react accordingly. I can crate most dogs so long as they're trained for it. I'm also available to message for updates 24/7 if you want updates on how your fur babies are doing.

About: I’ve always been someone who enjoys being around animals, especially dogs, and over time I’ve gained a lot of hands-on experience caring for them. I’m a responsible and patient person, which has helped me build trust with dogs of different sizes and personalities. Whether it’s energetic dogs that need lots of playtime or calmer ones that just want attention, I’m able to adjust and make them feel comfortable. I’ve helped with feeding, walking, cleaning up after them, and making sure they feel safe and cared for. Being around dogs has also helped me grow as a person—it’s taught me how to be more attentive, understanding, and consistent. I pay close attention to their behavior so I can tell when they’re excited, nervous, or need something. I’m also reliable and take my responsibilities seriously, so I make sure any dog I’m caring for is well looked after. This will give me plenty of time to take care of dogs! I live in an apartment that has a dog park that is perfect for all pets. Pets will be taken to play and to use the bathroom.

Plus keeping my other two kitties happy and fed, PLUS monitoring my aquarium. Truly a lifesaver and a blessing of a sitter. I’m so happy to report that while I was gone Bruno’s health actually has drastically improved since when I saw him a few days ago 😁 I was so worried about leaving him for a few days, but I also knew Courtney has it handled.
