Our vet recommended we do Rover as a way to socialize our Thor puppy when he was only 6 months old and its now been almost 5 years of doing Rover dog boarding or as I like to call them "puppy sleepovers" and we absolutely love it! We get to share our home and get to spoil pups and give them their own vacation experience and Thor gets buds to play with. It's a win-win-win! Thor is a gorgeous 5yo yellow lab with the best temperament, he is super well socialized thanks to Rover, and he loves (more like obsessed) to play fetch! Thor is fully vaccinated and ask that your dogs also be fully vaccinated and up to date on their boosters. I work from home so I get to spend a lot of time outside playing fetch. Thor is very active and loves to play so we love having friends over for him to play with, so your pup will get plenty of outdoor time on their vacation! Thor is really friendly and does well with all types of dogs. He's super patient and really careful when playing with small pups. He's really good at respecting other pups boundaries when they don't want to play or when they need a break. He is such a good boy. He is super well socialized and plays well with all size dogs and has been exposed to all types of breeds. I have a fenced in yard with a dog run with artificial grass for pups to run and play as well as a dog friendly pool and patio area. The grass is cleaned and deodorized every Sunday. Pups will be inside our home unless they are supervised outside. We do not crate Thor or any pups in our care unless specificly asked to do so by their pet parent. About: I’ve worker as a kennel technician for 2 years and now currently working at a dog resort as a grooming assistant. My hope is to own a mobile grooming company. My pets will be away in other rooms while your pet will ethier be able to roam around or whatever you perfer. My dog is very friendly and loves to play but I will only do that if you allow it. If I’m at your house I’m used to walking my dogs when I get home so if you would like I can walk yours at least once a day and I love teaching dogs new tricks as well.

About: I have been around animals for as long as I remember. I grew up with big dogs like boxers and have had as many as 4 dogs in the house at a time. I have my own Pomeranian who knows over 10 tricks I taught her myself. I also had a cat I cared for on my own and help my mom out with her current cat. Teaching my dog tricks is the best way to stimulate smart dogs like her and she has lots of fun with it. Our cat gets to roam the house freely, only engaging in play when she shows interest. As she does not enjoy being held, she only gets picked up if she absolutely needs moved. Cats deserve their space! All exotic animals get handled as their care instructs and fed when needed.
