“Emily was very gracious and accommodated a last minute sitting request for my puppy Sydney. She was friendly, responded quickly and was very easy to deal with. Sydney was very comfortable, ran right inside the house and didn't want to leave at the end when I went to pick her back up. Would absolutely use again.”

“I don't think I could have found a more entertaining place for Guido to spend his day. I'm just sad that they're almost an hour's drive for me, or I would continue using them. I think Guido is actually disappointed to leave.”

About: I've personally trained two high-energy puppies — an Australian Shepherd and a Golden Retriever — so I know firsthand what it takes to keep dogs engaged, well-behaved, and happy. My patience is genuinely my superpower. I never rush a nervous dog or force comfort — I let them set the pace until they feel right at home. I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes and breeds for 10+ years and pride myself on being able to provide the reliable and loving care they need when their owners are away. Working from home means your dog gets full-time supervision and companionship — no long hours alone, ever. We kick off most mornings with a walk so the pups can sniff to their heart's content, then spend the day enjoying our large indoor space and fully fenced yard. I'm a big believer in enrichment activities to keep minds sharp and tails wagging. Oh, and both my husband and I are certified cuddle providers — your dog will not go unloved here! Caring for dogs is just part of our everyday life — and we wouldn't have it any other way! Our two resident pups, ages 5 and 1, are total social butterflies who love meeting new dog friends and help break the ice for any newcomers. Working from home means I'm always around, so your dog gets real companionship all day long — not just check-ins. Between my husband and me, there's always someone ready with a belly rub, a walk, or a fun enrichment activity. Your dog won't just be cared for here — they'll be spoiled. Will usually suggest a meet and greet prior to introducing the pups to one another to create a safe and welcoming home and make sure everyone feels safe.
“Marissa is awesome!!’ She knows how to make each “human” feel like their fur baby is being taken care of like one of her own. The pictures and stories about Archie’s day are hilarious. I know I chose the right person to keep my Archie company while I’m working at the office.”

“Very accommodating to my schedule and great location as I traveled into the area for work. Manolo came home and went straight to sleep being worn out from the day of play. I will certainly book again.”

“Sanah gave Goose a wonderful experience he has so much fun and she consistently updated me and send me so many cute pics💕 She took our sitting request last minute and was very flexible I really enjoyed my experience with her and recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and experienced dog sitter!”

About: I've never not had a dog. I grew up in a home where dogs were bred and raised, and I've owned dogs my entire life. Right now I have five of my own two German Shepherds, a Mini Poodle, a Yorkie, and a Lab all social, all part of a daily routine that already runs like clockwork. Beyond personal experience, I've spent 6 years doing ABA therapy working directly with extreme behavioral cases. I own a behavioral health company. That background means I don't just love dogs I understand behavior, I recognize triggers before they escalate, and I know how to manage a structured environment where multiple animals with different temperaments coexist safely. That's not something most sitters can say. I'm home all day, every day. This isn't a side job I fit around a schedule. My goal is to make this my full time work, which means your dog gets the same attention mine do all day, not just morning and evening. I'm home full time. Pet care isn't something I fit into my schedule, it is my schedule. Your dog has my attention throughout the entire day. My home is set up specifically for dog care with three distinct spaces, a dedicated dog room, an outdoor kennel run with shade, and a large fenced yard for exercise and play. Dogs are never mixed unsupervised. I manage introductions carefully and separate when needed based on temperament, not just size. The pool area is accessible but all dogs outside my own are directly supervised near it at all times. I take that seriously. I accept dogs of any size. Breed is never a disqualifier, temperament is the only thing that matters to me. I do not accept puppies under one year or dogs with a history of unprovoked aggression toward people.
“We are very happy with Dawn and Andrew how they made our fur baby part of themself and take care of him as their own pet, my fur baby loves visiting them ,its a fun place for him and he enjoys the time with the family .”

“Joyce is fantastic!!! Our lil girl felt right at home and we had ease and peace of mind. Joyce has a beautiful heart and love for dogs that makes us 100% comfortable to book her moving forward for all our pet sitting needs!”

“Remi (dog) has stayed with Jenifer three times now and we fully trust her family to give him a safe and fun environment. I really appreciate the photos and videos Jenifer sends - my Remi is always having a blast!”

“Chubby had a great time with Kylee and the other dogs! He came back happy and sleepy. Kylee made us feel very comfortable leaving Chubby in her care. We will be using her services again!”

“Daniel was absolutely wonderful with our girl Harlo! He kept us posted with pics and text messages of her daily walks. Harlo can be quite challenging especially getting older and being reactive to other dogs. However, with all the challenges Daniel made sure Harlo was comfortable. Unfortunately, I missed a flight out of Florida the first time Daniel kept Harlo the week of the 13. My family and I couldn’t catch the next flight until the following day. I felt horrible as Daniel had already booked another client, which he had to cancel by no fault of his own. When I called to explain my situation he was still very patient and kind. I have found my forever pet sitter. Thanks again Daniel!”

About: Hi! 👋🏻 My name is Olivia, I’ve been with the Rover community for about 4 years now, but Happy Dog House Calls is where it all started. I joined the Rover community to meet new families who might need my pet sitting/house sitting services! I work with a wide variety of pets, not limited to just dogs and cats. I welcome most pets, including farm animals and complete farm care, as well as trained service animals. I'm more than happy to care for all of your furry or not so furry family members! I have a regular clientele of pets who have special needs, pets who experience anxiety or separation anxiety, some who are deaf or blind, others who are elderly, have injuries or health issues. These special needs sweethearts are always welcome on my schedule. My entire life I’ve had a passion for animals, so much so I’ve made it my career. I mean, who doesn’t want to spend all their time with animals!? I'm looking for opportunities to fulfill my passion, this is where you and your family come in! Upon scheduling, I will request a “Meet & Greet” at your home, which is required before any services are rendered. This gives your pet and I the opportunity to meet and get to know each other, this also lets your baby get familiar with my scent so I’m not a stranger entering your home. During this time we will go over your pets routine, any rules (whether they rule the house or you do, I’m here for it all), you can also show me around your home and go over any special instructions or medications. This is the ideal time to give me a key or code to enter (should we decide to work together). This visit is of course no charge. A little bit about each service: Walks- 30 min walk. Your choice of leisure walks with lots of sniffing and exploring (your dogs version of reading the morning news paper or as I call it, checking “Peemails”) or focused, brisk walks for exercise and winding down. Please have a leash and harness or collar, that fits correctly with no rips or tears. *Clients who are seeking my walking services, once the temperature reaches 84° I will not be available for walks, unless the morning or evening temp is at or under 84°, which I can walk with them then. The asphalt is too hot and heat stroke is a risk at that temperature. Exceptions are made for potty walks as long as there is shade. Drop-in Visits- 30 minute visit includes: Playtime, snuggles, feeding, medication administration, walking, potty breaks and treats. House sitting- 3 different options to choose from (please include which option will work best with your family in the initial booking request): Option 1. Overnight only- $150 1st dog (Additional dog $25): Arriving at your home around 9pm (8pm available) staying the night until around 6am the next morning. Includes plant watering, bringing in the mail, putting trash cans out and some other household duties. Option 2. Overnight with a mid day drop-in- $175 1st dog (Additional dog $25): Includes all of option 1, plus a drop-in visit midday for potty breaks, play and snuggles. Option 3. Daytime & Overnight stay- $250 1st dog (Additional dog $25): Includes all of options 1 & 2, plus coming and going throughout the rest of the day. *For Rover Holiday dates & puppy care, inquire about pricing ‼️Please include which house sitting option you’d like in your initial booking request‼️ I am available full time, early mornings, mid-days, late nights, even overnight stays, any length of stay, be it one day or 6 months long, this is my only job, allowing me to cater to you and your pets needs. I am willing to be as flexible as possible to make your time away from your pets 110% stress free for all of you. My availability is wide open, including most holidays (book early as these dates fill up fast) and some last minute requests. Same day bookings are available for walks and drop-ins, I typically require a 7 day notice for all bookings, but life can be unpredictable, so I offer same day bookings for an extra charge. Same day bookings are an additional $5. you will see this as an "Additional Charge" on your Rover invoice. ‼️THE ROVER APP HAS A GLITCH, THEIR CALENDAR FOR ME IS NOT CORRECT, PLEASE SEND A REQUEST EVEN IF IT SAYS THAT I AM UNAVAILABLE, AS I AM MOST LIKELY AVAILABLE‼️ I am also able to travel with you and your pet family for any vacation needs. I can drive your pets should flying not be an option. Please inquire further for this service. Safety always comes first. Absolutely trust that all of my attention will be on your pets for the entirety of the stay. This gives me the opportunity to give you a detailed update on your pets during our visit (I will write these updates during the visit, as well as taking pictures). Each visit I will send over the 4-6 photos I took of each pet as well as the detailed update I wrote. Your home as well as your pets, will be treated with the utmost respect, I will treat them like they are my own. I’m very cautious of making sure gates, pool gates and locks are always secured for your pet and homes safety. Speaking of safety, security cameras are not just acceptable, they are encouraged, for your piece of mind as well as in case of an emergency, typically I can be to your home within minutes if you see something concerning.
