“Jack had a blast staying with Valerie and Kevin. He did lots of running and playing came back home and slept all afternoon. Next up he’s doing boarding, I’m sure he’ll have a blast!”

“I don't think I could have found a more entertaining place for Guido to spend his day. I'm just sad that they're almost an hour's drive for me, or I would continue using them. I think Guido is actually disappointed to leave.”

“Joyce is fantastic!!! Our lil girl felt right at home and we had ease and peace of mind. Joyce has a beautiful heart and love for dogs that makes us 100% comfortable to book her moving forward for all our pet sitting needs!”

About: Hi! My name is Tiffany and I am an experienced pet sitter with over 10 years of experience. I am currently taking in new clients and expanding my business =) I am a stay at home mom and currently studying for my paralegal certificate. I am home all day except for the occasional errand =) I have a fenced in yard with a dedicated area inside and outside for my pups! Covered patio, access to a doggie door, turf and plenty of toys! I do require my pups to be crated at night for safety =)
“Your search for the perfect sitter is OVER! We could not be more pleased with the love and care she took to make our dogs comfortable. She has a system to introduce your dogs to Auggie. She allows your fur babies in her home and truly treats them as family. You will receive photo and text updates and best of all, they will come home HAPPY! We would give her more stars if available. Thank you , Sanah!”

About: I have extensive experience and knowledge in pet care. I have worked as a pet sitter for many years, worked in as a dog bather in a grooming shop, and worked at an animals shelter where I cared for cats and dogs. I have learned a lot about body language, monitoring health and pet safety. I have always enjoyed helping families know their pets are cared for as I know it can be difficult leaving your pets when traveling. I love spending time with my pets! It is important to me they have everything they need to be happy and healthy! We have a fenced yard where I can let pets out to go potty at anytime. I can also play with them while inside to avoid the heat and take the dogs on a walk if weather permits. I will care for pets in my home. There is a lot of space to play inside and the dogs have access to a multiple large water bowls inside. We have a yard but when it is too hot the dog spends most of the day inside and mostly goes outside to go potty. I also have a small plastic pool to help him cool off!
About: Hi there! I’m a trustworthy, reliable pet sitter who truly loves animals of all kinds, especially dogs and cats. I’m a proud pet parent to two dogs, Biscotti and Bellini, and three cats, Phoenix, Tempe, and Bisbee, so I know how important it is to feel confident your pets are safe and cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s walks, feeding, or just some company and attention, I treat every pet like my own. I’m great with all personalities, from shy kitties to playful pups, and I always try to keep things calm, comfortable, and stress-free for them. I know it takes trust to leave your pets with someone, and I’m here to make that easy by providing dependable, loving care you can count on. I have open availability and a flexible schedule, so I’m happy to help with last-minute trips, weekend getaways, or daily drop-ins. I love spending time with animals and I’m here whenever your pets need care, comfort, or just some extra company. No matter the pet, I tailor my care to each pet’s unique personality and needs. Whether they’re playful, shy, or somewhere in between, I take the time to make them feel comfortable and cared for. I’m also available anytime for check-ins or updates, so you can relax knowing your pets are safe and in good hands while you’re away.
About: I have years of experience caring for dogs and cats. I’ve cared for my own animals, friends and family pets, and many adorable fur babies through Rover. I work from home so I can provide regular walks and play. Having the ability to work virtually and create my own schedule allows me to have plenty of time in my day for pet sitting. I can be available for lots of movement and walks. My home is pet friendly, clean, and has an enclosed backyard (brick wall). I have an 11 yr old who also enjoys having animals around and an 8 month old son. I'm available on weekends and weekdays and my husband is also home after work hours to help and love on our furry friends.

About: Dogs have always been a special part of my life. Our family recently said goodbye to our beloved Yorkie, Charlie, after many wonderful years together, which reminded me how much joy and companionship dogs bring. While I’m new to this platform, I’m not new to loving and caring for animals. Friends and family have trusted me to care for their pets, and I know how important routine, patience, and kindness are. I’m a travel advisor who works from home, which gives me a flexible schedule. I only accept bookings when I know I can give each pet the attention they deserve. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, or simply spending quality time together, I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own. *** Please note: I have a significant cat allergy. I’m happy to care for dogs, but homes with resident cats may not be a good fit for overnight stays. Pet care fits naturally into my schedule because I work from home. I carefully manage my calendar and only accept bookings when I know I can give your pet the time, attention, and consistency they deserve. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, whether that’s feeding schedules, medications, favorite walking routes, or playtime. I’ll always treat your home with respect and provide updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and in good hands. I care for every pet with the same patience, kindness, and love I gave my own dog, Charlie, for 13 wonderful years.
“Tiffany was an incredibly kind, patient, and trustworthy person who genuinely cared for my dog Jack. She always went out of her way to ensure his comfort and maintained open communication with me, showing her heartfelt dedication.”

“I have had my dog Willow for doggy daycare several times now and Megan is great! I would not hesitate at all to have her back again. Megan is very caring, kind, and responsible. Best of all Willow loves her visits, especially to play with her dog Godiva :) ”

“When Joey wasn’t following the rules, Evan took extra time and effort to help train him with refocus and recall. I’m so grateful for the extra care that Evan offers.”

“Bob was able to watch our Lab, Buddha on short notice and took great care of him. Kept us apprised of his status throughout the day (including photos) and his Maggie and Macie were friendly and welcoming. We'll be visiting again soon! :)”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Peoria
This was Rowan's first time staying with Joyce. He had a very nice day with Joyce on 7/11/26. He came home tired but relaxed which tells me that he had fun playing and did not experience any stress of any kind. I will be booking another play date at Joyce's house in the next couple of days.

Lamb Chop gave kisses and wags of approval, and was tired but not overly so for his elderly joints. He was able to rest and relax while mommy and daddy were, too. Lori was prompt and communicated clearly, remembered everything, and Lamby was clearly well looked after. He’s got a lot of allergy and skin related needs, so it’s always nice to find someone who’s conscious of what care that entails - no pun intended!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Amazing Experience with Linda! Linda was incredible with Bruno! She kept him past checkout time when I was running late, which truly helped me out more than she knows. She sent me pictures throughout the day and gave me consistent updates so I always knew he was happy and doing great. Bruno had such a fun time and came home relaxed and well cared for — which says everything. You can tell Linda genuinely loves what she does and treats the dogs like her own. I would 100% recommend Linda to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, communicative, and caring. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
