Even our normally shy / skittish kitty came out of the back room and went right up to Leslie to greet her. They have worked with many rescues so they have worked with many animals who aren’t your typical house pets, and know how to handle problems if they come up. My kitty baby was an abused rescue and after meeting them I was confident he would be safe with them. First time in 8 years he has left my home. So rather traumatic. He’s back now and sailed thru with flying colors due to their care. I can solidly recommend them. Rover, the company I’m fairly peeved with. My registering had a problem that I was up the entire night attempting to solve. The computer was actually more helpful than the people I attempted to use chat with who only kept repeating the same rote phrase that didn’t solve anything and took several hours for the first reply. Rover has absolutely no way to directly contact a live person by phone when a critical problem is not being solved. I Had to have my cat settled by 7 am or I would have no place to put him safely in this very warm heat while management bombed the apartment complex. Rover has some work to do on customer service backup when their rote systems don’t work. This was NOT a fun experience not to mention tinged with desperation and no time left for alternative solutions after I had list my previous solution at the last minute.”

We pay close attention to pavement temperatures, direct sun, signs of overheating, and how each dog is handling the conditions. During the summer, we strongly prefer early morning walks and may adjust the pace, route, or amount of outdoor time when needed. We don’t measure a successful walk by distance alone. Exercise matters, but so do sniffing, curiosity, mental stimulation, and letting dogs enjoy being dogs. Our goal is not simply to wear your dog out. It is to help them return home comfortable, content, and revitalized. During drop-in visits, Matt always takes care to follow instructions, secure doors and gates, refresh food and water, and leave your home as it was found. About: i’ve always had a dog growing up and still have 2 of my own that i take care of. i’m very good at training dogs simple commands (sit, down, etc.) and am very patient with dogs. I work full time right now but am looking to spend time with more fur babies on my free time. My schedule isn’t linear so my availability is a little all over the place, but it never hurts to ask if i can do a job !!! For my two pets i feed them twice a day morning and night. I take them for walks and also spend time playing with them and giving them attention. i always make sure to keep an eye on them so that they don’t hurt themselves or get into something bad.
