Sonia is absolutely amazing — truly the best sitter I’ve ever had. She gave constant, thoughtful updates and showed so much love, care, and attention to my pup. She even accommodated me last minute, which meant the world. She exercises my dog and treats her like her own. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such good hands. Thank you so much, Sonia

I needed someone I could fully trust to care for my two small dogs while visiting my elderly parents, and Liliana was wonderful. She’s kind, reliable, and clearly very experienced with small dogs. She communicated promptly, sent frequent photos, and was flexible with my schedule, which gave me complete peace of mind. My pups came back happy, relaxed, and well cared for. I would absolutely book Liliana again and highly recommend her.

I don't think I could have found a more entertaining place for Guido to spend his day. I'm just sad that they're almost an hour's drive for me, or I would continue using them. I think Guido is actually disappointed to leave.

About: Hello my name is Isabel! If you're looking for a calm, secure, & loving environment where your dog can feel safe, relaxed, and cared for. I would love to meet your pup! ❤️🐶 Animal Care and service was my career and my passion for many years, since I was a child. I have had the opportunity to work with and learn from several Humane Societies, Animal Care Centers, as well as volunteering for several rescues across the valley. Loving, Caring for and protecting Animals have always been my passion as well as serving in my community. This is my opportunity to share my home, my passion and my love for animals with your (furry) family member and I am excited about that. + Feel free to send a message anytime if you have questions. I stay home full time with my children. Rover is my Only job which allows me to have a very flexible schedule so that I can offer several Animal care services, and availability for last minute requests. You can be certain that your fur baby will have a lot of personalized attention around the clock. Your dog's safety & comfort are my top priorities, and I take that responsibility seriously. I am CPR certified, and have lots of experience administering medication orally, and injectable. I offer a safe, loving home with an artificial turf yard, and pavers. **No Rocks** which is perfect for dogs that suffer from “Pica”. Our yard is also fenced in with a 6ft block fence as well as a large dog run on the side of the house. I always supervise playtime to make sure everyone stays happy and safe. I sanitize daily with Wysiwash, and the dog poop is picked up as it drops. 🐶 My goal is to give every pup a safe, loving, and stress-free home-away-from-home, so you can travel with peace of mind knowing they're being cared for like family.

About: Hi I’m Kylea! I’m a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom and lifelong animal lover. Animals truly bring me so much joy and happiness and I would love to care for yours! While in my care, your pet(s) will receive tons of love, attention, playtime, and snuggles. Daily updates will be given as well as pictures! I have a lifelong experience caring for dogs, cats, and other small pets, and I will follow any special feeding schedules. I can administer medications if needed, and will accommodate unique care instructions. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I can care for any age whether it’s a puppy and still potty training or a senior dog that needs assistance and gentle care. I know how important our pets are—they’re family. That’s why I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away, knowing your pet(s) is receiving the best care possible. I can’t wait to meet you and your amazing pet(s) and give them a fun, loving home away from home! 🐾💕 I will always be home to love and care for your pet(s). Your pet(s) is my top priority and your request is highly respected for the care of your sweet pet(s). During the AZ summer, dogs will remain inside for the majority of the day but will still get tons of playtime because in our home- we play ball in the house! :) Your pet(s) will have frequent potty breaks and tons of playtime outside when the weather isn’t extremely hot to prevent your sweet pet(s) from being overheated. I have a double fenced yard and tons of space for your pet to play. Artificial grass, a doggie pool for those dogs who love to play in water, tons of toys, an outdoor cooler with pump, & misters and fans (though dogs will never be left outside for a long period of time). As for cats- I will keep them separated in their own, quiet space with their own litter box, food, water, and accessories until they seem to feel comfortable. Then I will introduce the cat(s) slowly to the other cats and the to home.

About: *IMPORTANT SUMMER INFO* I do not walk dogs when temps are over 95 during the day. I will walk up to 100 degrees when the sun is not out (early morning or after sunset). Walks will change to drop-ins (no change in price) if temps exceed this. We are a dog loving family and welcome small to medium size dogs for doggy daycare. Pam is available for dog walking and drop-ins on weekdays. For daycare, we have 3 resident dogs who will welcome your pooch to the pack, so yours should be good with other dogs. Our backyard is fully fenced, with a pool that your pup can cool off in. **The dogs are fully supervised any time they have access to the pool.** Pam works solely from home and Joe works in ministry just two miles away. Our schedules allow us to show your fur baby a great time and all the love and attention it will need while you are away for the day. Please let us know if you have any questions about your pup's needs. We look forward to welcoming them to our pack! ~Pam & Joe Why I love dog sitting I grew up with cats but fell in love with dogs when I got my first one, Maggie, in my twenties. Maggie was a Sheltie and was my companion through a lot of life's ups and downs. In 2010, I adopted Snickers & Itty Bitty, a malkie and care-tzu. Maggie, Snickers and Itty Bitty all lived to 15 years old, but we would have loved many more years with them. We now have Toby, a small mixed breed who is 10, Lucky, a Maltipoo, who was rehomed to us, and Ginger, a cavapoo princess who we were blessed to find through a rescue. About my yard Our backyard is fully fenced and landscaped. We have a pool and your dog is welcome to swim, or cool off on the baja step, if they like. We have a grass side yard that is a designated potty area for the pups. Pam works part-time from home and Joe works just 2 miles away. While Pam is home working, our 3 resident fur babies are never far away, sometimes even sleeping on her lap or desk. We have a gate that keeps dogs from accessing the front door. Our front door and back doors both have security screens, so if we open the door they can't run out. Our back yard is fully fenced and double fenced on the one side that opens to the front yard/street.

About: As a pet owner myself, I know how stressful it can be to find someone whose schedule truly works with your pet’s needs. That’s honestly why I joined Rover. I wanted to be that reliable person for other pet owners who may feel overwhelmed trying to find the right care. I have plenty of free time, work from home and genuinely love being around animals, so your pets will get lots of attention, love, and consistency. They won’t be left feeling alone or ignored while they’re with me. I’m here to keep them company, give them plenty of affection, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy the entire time. I treat every pet like they’re my own because I know how important they are to you. I have experience with puppies, older dogs, and everything in between. My goal is to give your pets the same love and care I would want someone to give my babies. ❤️ I work from home, so I’m flexible with my schedule. I’m up at early as 5:00 and I go to bed at 11 I’ve had dogs my entire life, and they are truly part of my family. My oldest dog is 15, and I also have a puppy, so I’ve experienced caring for dogs at every stage of life. When I care for someone else’s dog, I treat them exactly how I would want someone to treat my own. I’m attentive to their needs, keep a close eye on them, and make sure they are safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout their stay. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I take that responsibility seriously. ❤️

Emily was very gracious and accommodated a last minute sitting request for my puppy Sydney. She was friendly, responded quickly and was very easy to deal with. Sydney was very comfortable, ran right inside the house and didn't want to leave at the end when I went to pick her back up. Would absolutely use again.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Luke Air Force Base commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 1,909 sitters in Luke Air Force Base, 87% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
