Emily, thanks for taking the time with Signe to ensure that her time in the park was more than entertainment and interacting with other dogs, but instead included using the park as a "comfort station." I know that made Signe's time back in the crate more comfortable for her. We also appreciate the photos you provided.

About: I used to have 3 dogs I helped take care of everyday before my family moved across the country. They were my best companions: a dachshund, yorkie, and italian greyhound chihuahua. I took care of them and countless amounts of dogs for family friends; mastiffs, white labs, black labs, and more chihuahuas. I currently am a part-time student at Arizona State, but I am free on Monday-Friday at any time, and some weekends as long as I’m informed or asked to pet-sit a week in advance. We have a small, fenced yard that I use for my own dogs that we occasionally play with them in. This is easy for me to use play time for in a clients home.

My flexible schedule allows me to tailor care around the pet’s routines, ensuring they receive the attention, exercise, and companionship they need at any time. When caring for pets, I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for each animal. Above all, I strive to give each pet individual attention, showing them affection and companionship, to ensure they feel loved and secure while their owners are away.

About: Hi, I’m Amanda! I grew up on a farm in rural upstate New York, where caring for animals was part of everyday life. I am very comfortable handling animals with different personalities, sizes, and energy levels. Because of that background, I’m calm, observant, and confident when it comes to animal care. I understand how important consistency, safety, and attention are, whether it’s feeding routines, exercise, or just spending quality time with your pet. I genuinely enjoy being around animals and treat every pet with patience, respect, and care like they’re my own. ⸻ 🐶 My Experience * Lifelong hands-on experience with farm and household animals * Comfortable with large, high-energy, or strong dogs * Experienced with shy, independent, or senior pets * Confident managing multiple animals at once * Familiar with feeding schedules, cleaning, and basic care routines ⸻ ❤️ My Care Style I focus on keeping your pet’s routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions carefully and make sure your pet gets: * Fresh food and water * Exercise and/or playtime * Bathroom breaks or litter care * Attention and companionship * A clean and safe environment I’m attentive to behavior changes and will always communicate if anything seems off. ⸻ 📸 Updates & Communication You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and messages so you know your pet is safe and happy while you’re away. ⸻ 🤝 Meet & Greets I’m happy to do a Meet & Greet before booking to make sure we’re a good fit and to go over your pet’s routine, preferences, and any special instructions. ⸻ 🦴 Services Offered Cat sitting * Dog walking * Drop-in visits * House sitting (optional to enable now or later) ⸻ ⭐ Why Choose Me Growing up on a farm taught me responsibility, awareness, and how to read animal behavior early. I’m reliable, calm in new situations, and genuinely enjoy caring for animals—not just watching them. ⸻ 💬 Closing Line I’d love to meet you and your pet—feel free to reach out with any questions! ⸻ Optional Add-On (if true for you) * “Available for early morning, evening, and weekend care” * “Comfortable administering basic medications if instructions are provided” I offer full availability—any day, any time—and am committed to being 100% reliable. I prioritize punctuality, consistency, and clear communication, ensuring pets are cared for exactly as instructed and owners have peace of mind. I take care of pets in their own homes so they can stay comfortable in a familiar environment. I stick to their normal routine—feeding, cleaning, playtime, and attention—and make sure they feel safe and relaxed. I treat both the pets and the home with respect and always keep owners updated.

About: I have taken care care of dogs (large and small) and cats for over 10 years. I have experience with all ages and all stages. I work from home so I can be flexible with my schedule. I do not work on the weekends so I am available most weekends I have a decent sized back yard with a pool- no animals will be outside without supervision. I would introduce any new animals to my 3 before taking them in my home.

5 well-deserved gold stars ⭐️ Victoria was absolutely wonderful! She responded quickly to all communications and was incredibly accommodating with our last-minute bookings, which we truly appreciated. She was friendly, professional, and clearly great with dogs—our dog absolutely loved her. We felt completely comfortable and confident leaving our dog in her care. We would happily book with Victoria again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker.

About: I've always had pets growing up so I definitely am prepared to care for them as needed. Very friendly and love to be around animals! I also am usually the person who watches my friends pets when they're on vacation. I have a full time job outside of the home, so typically I'm working 8-8.5 hours, 5 days a week. I also have two cats so it's a big deal to me to make sure they have everything they need (even a lot of spoiling). Pets deserve the absolute best. I spend most of my time chatting with and snuggling my cats and make sure they're properly loved and taken care of. I think animals know when you care about them so it's important to always come in with positive energy.

About: I’ve lived with companion animals my entire life, and caring for animals has always been a meaningful part of who I am. I’ve also committed my career to animal protection, so I bring a lot of care, respect, and attentiveness to every animal I look after. I know how much it means to find someone you feel good about leaving your animals with, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is always to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving you peace of mind while you’re away. I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to spend plenty of time with the animals in my care throughout the day. I’m able to build my day around their normal routine as much as possible, including meals, walks, outdoor breaks, playtime, rest, and companionship. My goal is to help them feel comfortable, settled, and well cared for while they’re away from home. For boarding, animals stay in a calm, single-story home with air conditioning and a fenced backyard. There are no other animals, no children, and no smoking in the home. I do my best to keep each animal’s routine consistent and make sure they have a safe, comfortable, low-stress environment. I’m also happy to follow detailed care instructions around feeding, walks, medication, sleeping arrangements, and any special needs or preferences.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
