About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have dogs of my own as an adult, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I know pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care with the same patience, affection and attention I’d want for my own. I have previous pet- and house-sitting experience and can provide references from families whose pets and homes I’ve cared for. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, ages and personalities, as well as cats. I’m happy providing energetic walks and playtime for younger dogs while also adapting to the slower pace and extra TLC that senior pets may need. I also have experience administering pet medication and am comfortable following medication schedules, special feeding instructions and detailed care routines. I’m attentive to changes in an animal’s behavior or wellbeing and will always keep owners updated while they’re away. Above all, I’m dependable, caring and respectful of both your pets and your home. Whether your pet wants long walks, playtime, companionship or simply someone to curl up with, I’m very happy to oblige I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to easily fit pet care into my daily routine. I’m available for weekday and weekend care, including morning, afternoon and evening drop-ins, dog walks, and overnight house sitting. Because I’m local to the Goodyear area, I’m also happy to accommodate last-minute or occasional bookings when my schedule allows. I enjoy getting out for walks and spending time with animals, so pet care fits very naturally into my day rather than feeling like just another job. I’m dependable about agreed-upon times and routines, and I’ll always make sure your pets receive the attention, exercise and companionship they’re used to while you’re away I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes, allowing pets to stay comfortable and secure in their own familiar environment while their owners are away. I take the responsibility of being trusted with both someone’s pets and their home very seriously. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, routines, sleeping arrangements and any household rules. I have experience administering pet medication and am comfortable following detailed care instructions. I’m attentive to doors, gates, leashes and other safety considerations, and I always make sure pets are safely secured before entering or leaving the home. I also respect my clients’ privacy and treat their home with the same care I would my own. I’m happy to provide regular photos and updates so you can relax knowing your pets are safe, happy and getting plenty of attention and affection while you’re away.
About: I have had animals of all kinds since i can remember. I have taken care of dogs mostly but have experience with cats, bunnies, ferrets and even chickens and horses. I am a stay at home mom to a 2.5 year old little boy. Just trying to make some extra money for my family doing something I love and helping out pet parents in need! I will be sure to follow all rules, I am very diligent about what a dog needs as I have a couple senior dogs at home that take special care (vitamins etc).

“Brianna is absolutely amazing! She regularly drops in to care for our two pups, and we completely trust her with them. This week we had a last-minute trip come up and needed her to house sit, and she didn’t hesitate to step in. She did an incredible job—kept us updated with messages and photos, and most importantly, kept our pups happy, comfortable, and well cared for. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We’re so grateful for her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring dog sitter!”

“Kristina was amazing! She accepted my last minute booking and was great at communicating-sending me photos and keeping me updated on how Ferrari was doing. She took great care of my dog and was sensitive about her needs as a rescue during the 4th of July. I definitely recommend booking with Kristina :)”

“Angela is incredible, cannot recommend her enough. My dog is very difficult to watch, doesn’t trust anyone and gets sick when she is anxious. Angela handles all of it professionally and with kindness, has been unbelievably patient in helping my dog build confidence with her. My cat warmed up quickly, and I know Angela is taking great care of both of them when I’m gone.”

“Annabella did a great job taking care of our dog! Good communication, sent lots of photos and hung out with her giving her lots of care and attention. Definitely recommend!”

“Susan was absolutely amazing! I wish I could rate her 11/10!! She stayed with my dogs as I asked and gave them lots of love and attention. I never worried once while we were on our trip. She sent daily videos and pictures and even helped water my flowers for me. Susan was prompt and had great communication. I can’t wait to use her services some more and so grateful to have found her!!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Luke Air Force Base
Sheyna is the best pet and house sitter we've ever had. She keeps our house nice and neat, and of course, she takes great care of our cat, Mr. Pickles. He even looks for her after she's gone. He loves her so much! Sheyna's part of our family now and we would have her back anytime!

We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter! Our dog is very shy, but Kaylyn was so patient and caring that she quickly felt comfortable. The thoughtful updates gave us so much peace of mind while we were away, and we came home to a happy pup and a well-cared-for home. We’re so grateful for the wonderful care they provided and would trust them again without hesitation. Highly recommend! No

Addison was such a great help watching rexin this week! She was attentive, professional, and communicated well. She had an issue with her vehicle and still was able to make the booking work and show up to complete the requested time to watch rexin which I really really appreciate especially when someone has their own things going on and still can pull through. I’d recommend her to anyone!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Luke Air Force Base walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Luke Air Force Base maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Luke Air Force Base choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Luke Air Force Base. On Rover:
- 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
