“Christina is always amazing!! She takes care of our 3 girls just like they were her own!! She also stays in contact and sends lots of pictures so you know they are doing well!”

“She is fantastic! Trustworthy in my home and with our animals. She went above and beyond with the pictures and videos. We were truly able to enjoy ourselves while on vacation knowing our animals were well taken care of. Highly recommend! We will book with her again!”

“Chuck did a great job of watching my cat Scaredy and taking good care of her even though I made it much harder by mistakenly leaving my cell phone at home which made it impossible for either of us to get in contact with each other. I am so sorry for doing that and apologies for making such a bad mistake.”

“Kailyn did a great job house sitting. Phoebe’s eating schedule was followed, and Kailyn stayed in consistent communication with me. Thank you Kailyn, I came home to a happy dog🤗 Will definitely use Kailyn again in the future.”

“Annabella did an awesome job housesitting while I was away. She kept Phoebe engaged, sent pictures daily and even printed copies of photos for me. Upon my arrival home, Phoebe was happy and well taken care of. Thanks so much Annabella, definitely appreciate your help.”

“Laura did a most excellent job and my pets loved her. They were treated wonderfully and so was my house, left very clean and bedding & towels washed & replaced. My cat and two dogs were so content even before I arrived home from my trip. Laura also took lots of great photos. Thank you Laura!”

“Brianna is absolutely amazing! She regularly drops in to care for our two pups, and we completely trust her with them. This week we had a last-minute trip come up and needed her to house sit, and she didn’t hesitate to step in. She did an incredible job—kept us updated with messages and photos, and most importantly, kept our pups happy, comfortable, and well cared for. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We’re so grateful for her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring dog sitter!”

“This is the 2nd time that we have had Charis watch our dogs. One of our dogs has really high anxiety. Charis was really great with him. She was patient and let him get used to her in his own time. He very quickly warmed up to her. She is really good about sending updates and pictures and responds quickly to messages. I will absolutely be using her again. She also left the house immaculate! Even changed the sheets, which was one less thing we had to worry about since we got home so late at night. Thank you, Charis!!”

“We had a great experience with Marley. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about our pups’ well-being. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.”

“We are so grateful to have met Katie! She is the perfect fit for our families needs!!! She is kind, caring, attentive, and truly loves our four legged babies. From the second we met her, we knew she was going to work out!! It is such a good feeling to have these needs met and have such a good trustworthy woman in our home taking care of things!”

“Kayleigh did an amazing job taking care of Phoebe. During the fireworks she was attentive and patient. This was my first time booking with Kayleigh and we looking forward to re-booking her in the future.”

“My dogs loved Alexandra. I could tell how happy they were when we got home and in their interactions with her. She was responsive, communicative and we felt so comfortable with her in our home. Murray and Livie can't wait for her to come back and stay with them!”

“Kalin did an amazing job looking after my sweet boy, Willy! She was incredibly responsive and kept me up to date with everything he was doing along with pictures and videos of how well they were getting along! Kalin was very professional and definitely shows her advanced knowledge of dogs and pet sitting! This was the first time I’ve ever used a Rover so inviting a stranger into my home to watch my beloved dog was a bit scary for me however, Kalin put all my worries at ease with her constant updates and professionalism. I would highly suggest Kalin to anyone looking for a sitter!”

“Michelle was great, not only were the dogs well taken care of but we got pictures and updates. I truly hope Michelle is available next time we need a dog sitter. Recommend 100%”

“Tonya T was amazing! It was her first time sitting with our 1 year old Jingles and she was very engaged in keeping Jingles busy and happy. He loved her. She texted us about what they were doing and sent pictures and videos. We will definitely rebook her!”

“We think she is amazing!!! Huge thank you to Sue for taking such wonderful care of our two fur babies, all the sweet updates and massive smiles in each picture! She wore them out every day with play time, spoiled them and left our house spotless! Followed our established routines seamlessly, and we returned to two very happy, content and relaxed pups! We will definitely be booking her again for our next pup staycation while we are out of town!”

“Juliett was wonderful! She provided consistent updates and did a great job with my dogs. She spent consistent time with them to ease their discomfort when I’m out of town. Highly recommend!”

About: I have owned and cared for many animals since I was a kid and have professionally cared for animals for 3 years. I currently have 3 feline fur babies aged 12, 10, and 3 years old. One is special needs. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, and birds. This includes baby, special needs, and elderly animals of all sorts. Whatever needs your pets have, I can handle! I do have a semi-part time job as a server at a restaurant. I work 5-8 hour shifts about 25-35 hours a week. I work mornings between the hours of 645am-430pm. I'm willing to work out scheduling with you and figure out how to best meet your pets needs! I cannot care for animals in my home due to owning 3 fur babies of my own and wouldn't want to stress them or your animals out. However I am able to come to your home or take them out to a park any time you need including overnights!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Luke Air Force Base
Kaylyn did an amazing job house and pet sitting for our 2 older (high needs) mini dachshund's! She took great care of them and of our home. Better than any sitter we've had on Rover before. She communicated with us frequently, sent pics, administered meds and kept our home nice and tidy!! Our dogs loved her right away! We were able to enjoy our vacation without the stress of worrying about our dogs! I will definitely use Kaylyn again.

Addison was such a great help watching rexin this week! She was attentive, professional, and communicated well. She had an issue with her vehicle and still was able to make the booking work and show up to complete the requested time to watch rexin which I really really appreciate especially when someone has their own things going on and still can pull through. I’d recommend her to anyone!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Luke Air Force Base walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Luke Air Force Base maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Luke Air Force Base choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
