About: I am a huge animal lover who enjoys spending time with dogs of all breeds. I know that dogs are so much more than pets , they’re family. I take the time to get to know each dog’s routine and unique personality. I see to it they feel comfortable while you’re away. I’ll make sure they feel safe and loved. My goal is simple , to make both your and your furry family member have the best experience. I currently am graduated and looking for a new job with my degree. I have pretty open availability to be there whenever you need me. I make sure pets feel comfortable and safe in their familiar environment. I treat every home with the utmost respect, keeping it secure , clean and just as I found it. Throughout each visit, I provide updates and photos so the owners can relax knowing their furry family member is well cared for.
“Heather went above and beyond to help me with a thermostat issue while I was out of town and she was taking care of my dog. Followed all of my directions, took tons of pictures for me. Very trustworthy. 10/10 recommend Heather for future dog watching!”

“Daizy is wonderful! She kept my animals and home safe while I was out of town. She kept me updated every step of the way. She also cleaned up my pups messes. I will most definitely book her services again.”

“Dani is THE BEST she is always professional and can be trusted if any emergency arises and will care for your pet as if it was her own. She is a treasure! Thank you Dani for your kindness, Bear loves to see you!”

“Chris did a great job! She was able to coax our super scared and shy kitty out for some pets and pics! Great communication and prompt response to messages, would definitely recommend!”

“She took great care of my 2 cats, they are very energetic and she would play with them until they were tuckered out every day I was gone, I’d recommend Kat to anyone that needs their pets taken care of. Also the daily updates with pictures were cute”

“Patricia was truly amazing, and I couldn’t be more grateful for her care. She took extra time to help my dog warm up and feel safe, which meant everything to me. My pup was extremely difficult at first, but Patricia was so patient, gentle, and kind- never rushed, never discouraged. She went above and beyond by taking my dog on long walks, giving medication exactly as requested, and even working with her on training (she helped her learn to lay down!). The constant photo updates were so reassuring and showed just how much love and attention she was giving. It’s clear Patricia genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such thoughtful, capable hands. Thank you so much, Patricia — you’re incredible, and I would trust you again in a heartbeat!”

About: I have had all types of dogs welcome in my home , I adore them and we have fun. I currently have a little one of my own.We can bathe ,walk, cuddle or clip ...stay one night or a month , on a very short notice. All stay overs have a separate eating area, schedule varies. I walk the dogs 2 or 5 times a week, depending. We have dog beds all over the house , or they can grab a recliner with us . I have a fenced grass yard , and a relaxing porch . We have a doggie door where they can come and go as they please , but we also let them out several times a day.

“Wonderful care! Messaged about how our dogs were responding to a new person from the beginning of their care, which was especially helpful since we just moved and were going out of town. Sent pics and updates of the care provided throughout!”

“Olivia was the best. She took great care of my cats. She sent me tons of photos and was very attentive. She even cleaned up my apartment when they made messes. I highly recommend her for great care!”

About: I've been surrounded by animals all my life. Dogs especially. I helped to raise an accidental litter of nine puppies with my mom who kept four of the puppies who are very happy. I'm experienced in taking care of waste, walks, food prepping, and overall patience to help however I can. I also have experience working overnight in a boarding facility where I feed, medicate, potty, and monitor anywhere from 15 to 40+ dogs. I can assure the utmost care and attention when I'm with your little(or big) ones. I'm currently free to work whenever. I'm eager to help out where I can and will reply to requests immediately. I have a puppy of my own and he's very happy and I love taking care of him alongside my partner. I don't currently have much space to take any animals into my own home but I will be completely willing to go to a clients house. I will take note of every specific need and happily take care of any tasks asked of me.
“Aubree was amazing. Her energy is so pure & I just knew my little ones would be in good hands..My dogs took to her immediately! I was scheduled for a last minute business trip for work and was going to be gone for about a week. She was extremely flexible & was able to take care of them last minute. She sends pictures and keeps you updated on every visit. I will be booking again as I will be leaving for yet another business trip within a few days.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
