“Jane is amazing with our dogs! We took a long trip and were not worried about home because we knew our dogs were being well cared for. Jane provided great pictures and updates on our dogs and we could see they were having a great time. This is our second booking with Jane and we plan to use her for all of our trips.”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was about 10 years old when I got my first puppy. I’ve learned how to bathe and properly take care of dogs as well as give them the best playtime! I love taking walks with them or doing anything to keep the furbabies properly maintained and loved! I’m also well trained with senior dogs and puppies as far as administering medications to helping them use the bathroom I’m currently working a full time job while I’m in school so my schedule is the same everyday with me working 8:30 am-4 pm and my days off are Wednesday and Sunday. Im available on the weekdays in the afternoon and any time on my days off! I am very well trained with dogs and leashes I have very good control over the pet especially out in public. I can read a dogs body language very well to tell when they are uncomfortable, need extra love or even some extra space. I am trained with cpr and I have experience administering medications

Perfect for multiple walks every day and I also live by multiple dog parks! I have a fenced in yard. I also work from home so I am always around for multiple walks and anything the dogs would need!

“Lindsey was absolutely incredible. Our boys loved her and she did an incredible job with them. She really went above and beyond and helped care for our cats, with one of them being very sick and gave us updates on him. Her communication was always thorough and she always sent us pictures and videos! It was a great experience!”

About: New to Rover, but still as familiar with dogs and cats as ever! I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since 12 years old. I have a deep love for animals and find them to be emotional beings. I just had my baby boy at the end of February & I’m looking to gain a little income dog sitting. Hoping to connect with dogs that are well-behaved and acclimated to being around a small child :) I intend to provide comfort and security for each and every pet. I am greatly considerate of an animals wants and needs, making them feel safe.
“Aubree was amazing. Her energy is so pure & I just knew my little ones would be in good hands..My dogs took to her immediately! I was scheduled for a last minute business trip for work and was going to be gone for about a week. She was extremely flexible & was able to take care of them last minute. She sends pictures and keeps you updated on every visit. I will be booking again as I will be leaving for yet another business trip within a few days.”

About: With over 15 years of experience in the veterinary field, I provide knowledgeable, compassionate care for pets of all ages, breeds, sizes, and temperaments. My hands-on experience includes caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, and other companion animals in both routine and medical settings. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or requires extra attention, I prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being while you're away. I understand that every pet is unique, and I treat each one as if they were my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your furry (or scaly!) family member is in experienced, caring hands Im currently working full time (4-10s) 8-6pm. I work in the Laveen area and live in Avondale. Drop ins wouldn't be a problem, over nights either as long as your fine with me not being there all day. About: I have taken care of friends and families' pets for years now and want to begin branching out into my community and meet/care for all of your lovely pets! I can follow specific directions, respect each and every household, and of course be very loving and attentive to your animals! I currently hold two-part time positions but have been searching for work with animals. I have volunteered at shelters in the past and have cared for friends/relatives pets whenever needed but would love to begin really working with pets and animals when I have gaps in my schedule and extra free time. I would care for your pets by following each and every direction necessary to make them feel as safe and comfortable as possible with me. I am fortunate enough to have always had a strong bond and connection with animals as they've always seemed to gravitate towards me and so I would provide as much love and attention as your animal needs. I am attentive to detail, respectful of others' belongings/homes/boundaries, and overall just want to care for the pet(s)!

“Justine and Will were great, and apparently my cats loved them! Sometimes my cats become reclusive when we leave them to a sitter. But not this time! All three of them came out for pets and to play. This made me happy! We will hopefully be using them again in the future.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Goodyear
Rachel is absolutely amazing. She is the only rover we will ever use. She is a genuine and kind person, and our cat adores her. Rachel is dependable, has great communication, and plenty of experience. We received messages every visit and our kitty even gave her kisses!

Thank you for checking in on the pups! I’m glad you were able to spend some time with them. Would it be ok if I out you in a group texting chat with four other girls only for the purposes of using the chat in the future if called out of town for that transplant? If yes, please confirm your phone number . And if you’re uncomfortable with that no worries, I’m happy to contact you on rover. I just figured it will be easier to coordinate something last minute with the group of emergency pet care roster I’ve created. Thank you for being willing to jump in if you’re available when that time comes!

We had Allyson do a drop in when we took a day trip to Phoenix. She had stayed with our pets for a long weekend, so we were perfectly comfortable that all would go well. And it did. She’s a great communicator and really cares about our animals. Highly recommend her!

Destiny was great with my 4 cats for 2 full weeks! She sent updates and pictures each day and was very fast to respond to any questions or concerns. She also helped with a couple extra things, like bringing in my Amazon packages. She was amazing!! I would highly recommend her! I will definitely be asking for her again in the future! Thank you!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
