“Tricia is very kind and accommodating. I appreciated her daily pictures and updates. We would book with Tricia again and highly recommend her for any pet sitting needs.”

“Sherrie was a lifesaver! We had booked with someone else and she canceled 3 days before our 4th of July trip. And even though Sherry had other dogs, she made room for Dakota too!! Thank you so much Sherri ?”

“Kristal is amazing with Auggie! She was super communicative and kept me updated throughout the stay. Auggie was clearly well cared for and pampered with lots of love and belly rubs. Highly recommend her!”

“Kalen was amazing with our Emma. He was in contact throughout her whole stay with him. I loved the daily pictures! We will definitely recommend him to our family and friends. If we ever need a sitter again, Kalen will be our guy! We can’t thank him enough for being so kind to our girl.”

“Kayla and Stephen were absolutely wonderful during the two day trip Greta had with them. I received text every day photos every few hours and the communication was just amazing knowing that Greta was having an amazing time. They were loving her and getting the constant updates just made me feel more comfortable with Greta being there and didn’t make me feel like I was away from her. I felt like I was still at home because she wasn’t a loving and comfortable environment. I will definitely be using them again in hopes they are available on my next work trips or vacations planned!! Highly recommend!”

“We always love to have Ash watch Millie! She is amazing with her and I feel so comfortable knowing Millie is with her! She always takes such great care of Millie!”

“Bethany has been a great support for my pup twice now! Always very kind, great communication, and patient as I work through travel plans. Highly recommend—but shhhh, don’t book her if I need her ;)”

“I had the pleasure of working with Sanah for a second round of services, and I can honestly say she is an absolute angel. She is incredibly nurturing and caring with my little boy, Max, which gave me complete peace of mind. She kept me consistently updated with pictures and progress, and her communication throughout was excellent. Overall, it was an outstanding experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.”

“Michele has been great! She has sent us pictures of our pets and allowed us to keep her updated during our unexpected travel delays. She and her family have been amazing and will continue to trust her with our furry babies.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs/cats for over 6 years as well as own a few of my own which I love dearly I make it a goal to stay engaged with them and make sure their having great play time! I’m a teacher with half days Wednesdays and weekends off so anytime in the afternoon/evenings for playtime or early in the morning before I head to my students and I’m available weekends for boarding! I live 10 minutes from the school I teach at. I have a fenced yard and two fury kitties who are very social to keep your furry child company and I’m very adaptable in others homes:) I will consistently send photo updates to owners 📸
“Myra was a wonderful caretaker of our sweet pup Riley. They brought her into their home, treated her like part of the family, and gave us updates and pictures daily. We feel very lucky we found such a great dog sitter! Thank you Myra!”

“Clover immediately took to Yvette upon our arrival at her home and I felt very comfortable leaving Clover in her care. Yvette sent me pictures of Clover daily. She has a fenced in yard and park area nearby. I recommend Yvette whole-heartedly. Though I don’t live that close to Yvette, her home is just off the I-10 as we were headed west for easy drop off and pick up.”
“Isiah was amazing!! I felt really good about leaving my pup with him! My furry baby seemed super happy in all the great photos and videos sent to me! I definitely will be using this sitter again!”

“Erika was very quick and responsive when it came to my Chiyo. It was our first time using Rover and any pet services at all, so it gave us peace of mind knowing her Doberman and kids got along with my dog and she gave me quick updates when I messaged her. Location of the home was in a nice area as well, nothing sketchy.”

“Lilly was so good with our fur baby!! We met beforehand and Jax just walked right into her home and was immediately comfortable, rolling over for belly rubs. Jax takes a bit to warm up to people so this was very reassuring. She sent us regular updates with pics which was great. Most importantly, when we picked him up he was happy and calm - there have been times where I've picked him up from other places and he was so stressed out it broke my heart - not this time!! I would definitely recommend Lilly to anyone looking for someone to care for their babies!!”

About: What makes me different? Honestly, I've had dogs my whole life, so I really get them. I'm super good with puppy training – helping them with the basics and house-training. And I'm also great with senior dogs, making sure they're comfy and happy. It's more than just watching them; it's about knowing exactly what they need. I only dog sit one at a time unless they come in a pair. No doggie's live in my home :) Pet care is totally built into my day. Every morning starts with walks and feeding, then I make sure there's playtime and potty breaks throughout the day. Evenings are for more walks, and dinner. It's just part of my life, not an extra task. In my home, pets become part of the family, getting constant supervision, dedicated play, and comfy spaces. I focus on individual needs. I stick to their pet's routine exactly, ensuring minimal disruption, consistent care, and lots of updates for peace of mind.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Goodyear
Hunter was great when watching our little boy Champ. He was attentive, caring, and patient. When Champ began experiencing some separation anxiety being away from us, Hunter was extremely diligent with reaching out to notify us and talk through ways to help make Champ more comfortable. Thank you Hunter for watching Champ for us during our time of need!

Great experience! When you love your pets, there is always the fear of them suffering or feeling uncomfortable while you are away. From our first meet-and-greet, Joke gave us the confidence to integrate March (our 10-year-old indoor, medium-sized Schnauzer) into her family. She took the time to introduce him to each member of the household and observe their reactions. The reception was wonderful, and March quickly connected with everyone, receiving love and attention from the very beginning. I provided Joke with the main instructions for caring for March, and I am extremely satisfied with the way she followed them. She went above and beyond by sending us pictures and updates throughout her stay, which gave us great peace of mind. I would also like to mention that when you drop off your dog, you immediately notice how clean the environment is. The space is spacious, calm, and free from the overcrowding that can sometimes disrupt a dog's comfort and tranquility. The absence of other dogs helped ensure a peaceful and stress-free stay for March. I highly recommend Joke to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and professional pet sitter. We will definitely use her services again! 🐾❤️ Thank you.

Sierra is a wonderful sitter. She’s super easy to work with and had us do a meet and greet first to ensure everyone got along. Willow is usually shy but warmed up to her and her roommate during his stay and really enjoyed hanging out in the backyard. She sent great photos throughout, and it’s clear they took excellent care of him. Definitely booking again!

Lea was an amazing doggie sitter. From the beginning, she helped me navigate the app and reassured me that she will take good care of Yogi! While we were on vacation we got daily updates and lots of videos/pictures. Lea was quick in replying to our communication and we highly recommend Lea to take care of your fur babies!

Out of all the great sitters Rover has to offer I’m so happy I picked Alexis. I was so nervous about leaving Lily that I almost canceled my vacation. But Alexis and her to cats made Lily feel comfortable from the first day I dropped her off. And in no time, Lily was acting like she was part of the family. Alexis did a great job sending me pictures and keeping me updated on how Lily was doing which set my mind at ease. Alexis was also kind enough to stay up late and wait on me to pick up Lily when my flight was delayed. I’d definitely recommend Alexis if you’re looking for a caring pet sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
