About: My mom loves cats, but after much pleading, our family welcomed a new addition. He is a large German Shepherd mix that is 10 years old.I have a Chihuahua mix who experiences separation anxiety because he had other owners who couldn’t handle his screaming. I have been studying dog training and sought assistance from Petsmart to help with my dog's anxiety. Although he still faces challenges, I noticed that he is less aggressive when taken out for walks. I have been caring for dogs and cats for many years and hold a deep affection for them. I can do pet sitting and boarding for weekends. I do work Monday to Saturday with Tuesdays and Sunday's off. I’m available for the morning during weekdays especially now that it’s getting hotter outside I prefer that time. I currently work full-time at Michael Lewis Co. and am also a full-time student at ASU. I work Monday and Wednesday through Saturday, and I’m off on Tuesdays and Sundays. On the days I work, I will be away for up to 8 hours for pet sitting. I may also have some in-person classes, but I always keep my Rover calendar updated to reflect my availability. I live in an apartment with two dogs—a Chihuahua mix. I let him out to go potty at the dog park nearby. He is fed after I get back from work, have access to a water fountain that is refilled daily, and are well cared for throughout the day.

“Alexis is a hard worker and Vivian my pug was healthy so she gets 5 stars. Two things bothered me & that’s her comment to me before pick up that my dog peed inside a couple of times. Viv is paper trained & i left her with a mat & lots of pads. While i was dropping her off & while explaining her schedule she peed on the pad, I left Alexis with 13 pads when i picked her up a lot of pads were leftover so i knew then they weren’t used. Pick up day Alexis texted me she was working from 10-8 and she left me a key under the mat. Viv was in a small gated off area near the bathroom with two other dogs it kinda shocked me, it was safe, all the dogs were the same size. Since Viv hasn’t had an indoor accident in over 6 months i’ll assume she was left longer than a few hours without her peed pad. Also I left Viv for 10 days and was sent just one pic normally that would’ve bothered me but my trip was packed with activity & had limited access to internet on my trip still every 2 days found a place to look at the Rover app and was sad i didn’t see any pics. That said Viv was safe, fed and happy. A pet owner can’t ask for more than that.”

About: I have had all types of dogs welcome in my home , I adore them and we have fun. I currently have a little one of my own.We can bathe ,walk, cuddle or clip ...stay one night or a month , on a very short notice. All stay overs have a separate eating area, schedule varies. I walk the dogs 2 or 5 times a week, depending. We have dog beds all over the house , or they can grab a recliner with us . I have a fenced grass yard , and a relaxing porch . We have a doggie door where they can come and go as they please , but we also let them out several times a day.

From our first meet-and-greet, Joke gave us the confidence to integrate March (our 10-year-old indoor, medium-sized Schnauzer) into her family. She took the time to introduce him to each member of the household and observe their reactions. The reception was wonderful, and March quickly connected with everyone, receiving love and attention from the very beginning. I provided Joke with the main instructions for caring for March, and I am extremely satisfied with the way she followed them. She went above and beyond by sending us pictures and updates throughout her stay, which gave us great peace of mind. I would also like to mention that when you drop off your dog, you immediately notice how clean the environment is. The space is spacious, calm, and free from the overcrowding that can sometimes disrupt a dog's comfort and tranquility. Out of all the great sitters Rover has to offer I’m so happy I picked Alexis. I was so nervous about leaving Lily that I almost canceled my vacation.
