“Our dogs LOVED being with Annie! She is flexible and so kind. I will for sure be asking be asking her to watch them again. They were so well cared for, I could be at ease (which is very difficult for me). We were updated everyday and I really need that. They were very spoiled. She is THE BEST.”

“This is our second time having Sanah watch our pups. She is phenomenal. She truly goes above and beyond with her care. The pups are happy to see her and enjoy her space. We 10/10 would recommend her to watch anyone’s pup.”

“Our dog is not the easiest, but Martin handled him so well. He sent us photos everyday and our dog had a great time. I would highly recommend him and plan to book again!”

About: I’m an experienced dog sitter and proud dog owner of my own pup, Zjefke. I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes, providing daily walks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of love. I make sure every furry friend feels safe, happy, and cared for while their owners are away! Taking care of pets is normally a big part of my daily and weekly routine, especially with my own dog, Zjefke. Since we couldn’t take him with us recently, I’ve really missed that daily connection. I love providing walks, playtime, feeding, and cuddles, and I bring the same care and attention to every dog and cat I look after. In my home, pets are part of the family. I care for them with love and attention, following their routines for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest. We also have a 2-year-old child who adores animals, so pets get lots of cuddles, gentle interaction, and companionship. I ensure they feel safe, happy, and well-cared-for, and I keep owners updated on how their furry friends are doing
“Our flight back home was delayed and Nick & Veronica were able to extend our girls stay. They always go above and beyond to make sure our girls are taken care of!”

“The first day of our meet and greet, I knew I would like Kristal and even better Louie loved her. She sent me photos and videos of him while we were gone and he seemed very very happy to be around her. Which made me relax and not to worry about him. Kristal is a very pleasant, good natured girl. You can tell being around animals makes her happy. I have no complaints whatsoever. Give Kristal a chance for your next booking. You won't be disappointed.”

“Kimberly was amazing! She welcomed us into her home at drop off and was so patient with this anxious pet mama. Marty had a great time and we got lots of pictures and updates. Would definitely recommend her to anyone!”

About: My mom loves cats, but after much pleading, our family welcomed a new addition. He is a large German Shepherd mix that is 10 years old.I have a Chihuahua mix who experiences separation anxiety because he had other owners who couldn’t handle his screaming. I have been studying dog training and sought assistance from Petsmart to help with my dog's anxiety. Although he still faces challenges, I noticed that he is less aggressive when taken out for walks. I have been caring for dogs and cats for many years and hold a deep affection for them. I can do pet sitting and boarding for weekends. I do work Monday to Saturday with Tuesdays and Sunday's off. I’m available for the morning during weekdays especially now that it’s getting hotter outside I prefer that time. I currently work full-time at Michael Lewis Co. and am also a full-time student at ASU. I work Monday and Wednesday through Saturday, and I’m off on Tuesdays and Sundays. On the days I work, I will be away for up to 8 hours for pet sitting. I may also have some in-person classes, but I always keep my Rover calendar updated to reflect my availability. I live in an apartment with two dogs—a Chihuahua mix. I let him out to go potty at the dog park nearby. He is fed after I get back from work, have access to a water fountain that is refilled daily, and are well cared for throughout the day.
“Bethany took great care of our pup which allowed us to enjoy an out of state trip worry free. Excellent communication and enjoyable to work with. Her home and outdoor space are perfect for our large puppy. Home located in a great neighborhood for safe dog walks. We would definitely love to work with Bethany in the future! ?”

“I want to express my heartfelt thanks to Megan for taking such exceptional care of my dog, Azul. She was highly communicative, keeping me updated on his well-being throughout her care. I highly recommend Megan to anyone seeking a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter. She truly goes above and beyond! Thanks again Megan!!”

“Shari and her family took such good care of my baby Zuko and sent pictures often. She replied to every message and even if I got distracted and didn’t message her she sent photos anyways. My baby was happy playing with the other doggies and when I picked him up he was falling asleep from all the fun he had. He was good with the kids and enjoyed every moment. Every picture was perfect and he was happy in everyone she sent. She and the family kept him happy and comfortable and made him feel right at home. Like he lived with them his whole life. That how good they treated him. I am extremely happy I found this family to take care of my baby. They will be forever part of our lives and in Zuko life for future daycare and boarding. You don’t come across good people like this often and her and her family are amazing and honest and have integrity.”

About: What makes me different? Honestly, I've had dogs my whole life, so I really get them. I'm super good with puppy training – helping them with the basics and house-training. And I'm also great with senior dogs, making sure they're comfy and happy. It's more than just watching them; it's about knowing exactly what they need. I only dog sit one at a time unless they come in a pair. No doggie's live in my home :) Pet care is totally built into my day. Every morning starts with walks and feeding, then I make sure there's playtime and potty breaks throughout the day. Evenings are for more walks, and dinner. It's just part of my life, not an extra task. In my home, pets become part of the family, getting constant supervision, dedicated play, and comfy spaces. I focus on individual needs. I stick to their pet's routine exactly, ensuring minimal disruption, consistent care, and lots of updates for peace of mind.
“Lindsy was able to take our Luna in last minute and made our trip possible! We almost had to cancel but thanks to Lindsy we were able to continue with our plans. Luna appears to have enjoyed staying with her and her family and even after we had a delay coming back home she was very understanding. We don't go out of town much but I will definitely keep her in mind for the future.”

“I have come back time and time again, I would recommend Ash to anyone. My dogs get so excited on their way to her house and I think that speaks volumes to how they are treated while they are there!”

“This is our second time with Kathren and Steven. We received pictures of the dogs--that was great! they took great care with our 'babies' and would highly recommend them to others.”

“Jesmarie and husband were amazing with my dog, my dog can sometimes be too much and she was giving them a hard time a little bit and probably being annoying but she still took good care of my dog and communicated everything that was happening and sent me pictures, she still made me feel like it was totally fine and she had great patience. Would recommend her anytime.”

“Deanna was quick to respond to my request and set-up a meet-and-greet within the same day. Deanna and her family went above and beyond taking care of my pup & welcomed her into their family for the holidays. She was great with communication and sent consistent photo updates. She was also beyond accommodating with some scheduling changes. We would absolutely book again with Deanna in the future! 😊”

“Mitch and his wife were great. I received updates and pictures every other day. They treated my dog Watson like one of the family. If we ne4ed a sitter again, we'll definitely rebook with Mitch.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Litchfield Park
Hunter was great when watching our little boy Champ. He was attentive, caring, and patient. When Champ began experiencing some separation anxiety being away from us, Hunter was extremely diligent with reaching out to notify us and talk through ways to help make Champ more comfortable. Thank you Hunter for watching Champ for us during our time of need!

Great experience! When you love your pets, there is always the fear of them suffering or feeling uncomfortable while you are away. From our first meet-and-greet, Joke gave us the confidence to integrate March (our 10-year-old indoor, medium-sized Schnauzer) into her family. She took the time to introduce him to each member of the household and observe their reactions. The reception was wonderful, and March quickly connected with everyone, receiving love and attention from the very beginning. I provided Joke with the main instructions for caring for March, and I am extremely satisfied with the way she followed them. She went above and beyond by sending us pictures and updates throughout her stay, which gave us great peace of mind. I would also like to mention that when you drop off your dog, you immediately notice how clean the environment is. The space is spacious, calm, and free from the overcrowding that can sometimes disrupt a dog's comfort and tranquility. The absence of other dogs helped ensure a peaceful and stress-free stay for March. I highly recommend Joke to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and professional pet sitter. We will definitely use her services again! 🐾❤️ Thank you.

Sierra is a wonderful sitter. She’s super easy to work with and had us do a meet and greet first to ensure everyone got along. Willow is usually shy but warmed up to her and her roommate during his stay and really enjoyed hanging out in the backyard. She sent great photos throughout, and it’s clear they took excellent care of him. Definitely booking again!

Out of all the great sitters Rover has to offer I’m so happy I picked Alexis. I was so nervous about leaving Lily that I almost canceled my vacation. But Alexis and her to cats made Lily feel comfortable from the first day I dropped her off. And in no time, Lily was acting like she was part of the family. Alexis did a great job sending me pictures and keeping me updated on how Lily was doing which set my mind at ease. Alexis was also kind enough to stay up late and wait on me to pick up Lily when my flight was delayed. I’d definitely recommend Alexis if you’re looking for a caring pet sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
