“Cassandra is super friendly and is extremely patient with our shy/anxious dog. She went above and beyond to connect with him on his terms. Looking forward to working with her in the future!”

“Olivia was the best. She took great care of my cats. She sent me tons of photos and was very attentive. She even cleaned up my apartment when they made messes. I highly recommend her for great care!”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a kid. Including dogs, cats, iguanas, turtles, and aquarium fish. I’ve had many different pets along the way, but currently only have one cat Penny. My kids are grown and out of the house so I have lots of flexibility. I work as a teacher but available most weekends, and maybe even during the week depending on the circumstances. You are opening your home to me and that is something that I do not take lightly. I am neat and clean and will leave your house that way too. I will love on your fur baby whatever way they need. Snuggles, treats, a passing glance at the grouchy kitty, I’m there for ya!
“Alyssa is great! A little worried my cats like her more than me! She was able to get my shy cat to play right away, which is a first, and both cats seemed really excited to see her. Highly recommended!!!”

“Christina is amazing! Our two fur babies were given such great care while we were away, and it gave us the peace of mind while we were away. Christina sent tons of photos and updates, and our doggos are happy being able to be home with a new friend!”

“I was worried about using Rover for the first time and having a stranger in my house while I was not there but Emily was everything I could have hoped for! She was very nice, quick to respond, on time, sent me pictures on every visit, and went above and beyond. 10 out of 10 stars for Emily. Thank you Emily for your professionalism and taking care of Ivy!”

“Fantastic service from Aubree. She did a excellent job taking care of my pets while I was away on a week vacation. She went above and beyond and cleaned up after them and gave them extra attention. Appreciate your hard work Aubree. I will definitely use your services again in the future. -Murillo family.”

“We could not be happier in trusting Jaylah with the care of our cats. One of our cats requires daily medication and Jaylah had no issues taking care of that, along with great interactive visits with our fur-kids, sent detailed visit updates and photos, and kept us at ease that everything was in good hands. Jaylah is quick to respond to messages, consistent on drop-ins, is detailed oriented, and super friendly. We won't hesitate to bring Jaylah back again!”

Ik how to keep big dogs under control on walks and I’m very observant making sure your dog doesn’t get hurt on walks
“We appreciate you so much. What I love the most about trusting you with our babies is seeing their body language in the photos you provide. They are clearly so fond of you and that gives me so much peace. Thank you for going above and beyond you are truly the best.”

About: I am comfortable taking care of all kinds of dogs. I personally have a beagle, which is a high energy dog, but I have also cared for family members’ smaller and bigger dogs ranging from calm to super energetic. I love all dogs so I am prepared for any kind I encounter! I am currently home from college and do not go back until end of September. I will be completely free the entire month of September and every Friday thru Sunday in August. I have no other responsibilities during these times so I would love to take care of your fur babies! I will easily follow any instructions on how to care for your fur baby, whether it be a caging them, feeding them, walking them, playing with them, or any slightly obscure routines the pets may follow.
About: I have taken care of friends and families' pets for years now and want to begin branching out into my community and meet/care for all of your lovely pets! I can follow specific directions, respect each and every household, and of course be very loving and attentive to your animals! I currently hold two-part time positions but have been searching for work with animals. I have volunteered at shelters in the past and have cared for friends/relatives pets whenever needed but would love to begin really working with pets and animals when I have gaps in my schedule and extra free time. I would care for your pets by following each and every direction necessary to make them feel as safe and comfortable as possible with me. I am fortunate enough to have always had a strong bond and connection with animals as they've always seemed to gravitate towards me and so I would provide as much love and attention as your animal needs. I am attentive to detail, respectful of others' belongings/homes/boundaries, and overall just want to care for the pet(s)!
“Katie as always was fantastic! Kitties love spending time with her while I’m away. Super attentive and communicative. She always gets the best pictures of the cats to send so I can see how they’re doing❤️”

About: Hello! My name is Taelor! I have been sitting with Rover for the last 10 years, and have had many pups (and kitties!) touch my life. I have also been a first choice house sitter for a couple that travels often as well! I work from home with lot of time for a break, so your furry friend doesn’t have to be home alone for extended periods of time. I am trustworthy, always punctual, organized, and very professional. You can definitely go away on a trip having the peace of mind that your furry friend is safe with me, hope to meet you soon! Taelor I currently work from home for the Everett Clinic, my hours are 8-5 M-F. I have an hour for lunch each day, leaving plenty of time to walk or check in on your loved ones for drop ins! Or you will have the peace of mind someone is at home with your baby all day. Safety is my number one priority! I have never lost, or had any medical issues with someone's family member. I always make sure that I leave things how they were, and the home is secured when i am not there.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Litchfield Park
Anna did a great job caring for my diabetic kitty. She met with us before we left on vacation and made us feel very comfortable with her. She was able to administer our senior cats insulin and made sure to update us when getting here and leaving. She also sent pics of all the cats with each drop in which was nice. Thanks so much Anna!

Brittany has been wonderful. We’ll definitely be booking her again on our next trip, whenever we get to leave town again. I highly recommend her. Our Porter is very senior and has special eating needs (he needs a lot of encouragement to get enough calories). She did a great job bonding with him and making sure he ate enough every day. Thank you so much for enabling us to enjoy our time away and not worry quite so much about our little old man.

We had Allyson do a drop in when we took a day trip to Phoenix. She had stayed with our pets for a long weekend, so we were perfectly comfortable that all would go well. And it did. She’s a great communicator and really cares about our animals. Highly recommend her!

Destiny was great with my 4 cats for 2 full weeks! She sent updates and pictures each day and was very fast to respond to any questions or concerns. She also helped with a couple extra things, like bringing in my Amazon packages. She was amazing!! I would highly recommend her! I will definitely be asking for her again in the future! Thank you!

Christina did such a wonderful job of taking care of my boys! From detailed updates with adorable pictures to professional, courteous communication, she exceeded my expectations! I really appreciate her willingness to accommodate us into her schedule on short notice while still performing her visit with my boys superbly!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Litchfield Park. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
