“We are so grateful for the wonderful care Rylee gave our dogs while we were away. She was incredibly kind, reliable, always on time, and communicated with us every step of the way. The pictures and updates she sent meant so much to us and gave us complete peace of mind knowing our pups were happy and well cared for. It's clear she genuinely loves animals, and we felt completely comfortable trusting her with our dogs. We wouldn't hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable dog sitter!”

“Annabella was awesome! She came into my home to check on my dog Bear and handled everything perfectly, even though it was her first time meeting him and being in my house. Bear can be a little unsure at first, but he warmed up to her quickly which says a lot. She was super friendly, easy to communicate with, and made the whole process feel really comfortable. I really appreciated the update and the photo she sent too. I’d definitely trust her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and great with their pet!”

About: As a proud pet parent to five dogs of my own, my life revolves around animals and their happiness! Managing a large, diverse pack has given me invaluable, hands-on experience for multiple different breeds, small and large, with everything from high-energy playtime to specialized feeding schedules (including medical care) and multi-dog dynamics. I have multiple years of experience through volunteer work and have aided in the care of dogs of all ages including puppies and senior dogs. My care also extends beyond canines, I have experience babysitting cats, so I'm well versed in feline personalities, litter box maintenance, and giving cats their space (or all the cuddles they want). My passion for animal welfare runs deep, for the past two years, I have founded and run a local fundraiser dedicated to supporting our area's animal shelters. Whether your pet needs high-energy companionship or calm, patient supervision, I treat every guest with the same love, dedication, and safety that I give to my own pack. I often have availability seven days a week, making it easy to accommodate your pet's specific routine, whether they need early morning walks, midday drop-ins, or random check ins. Because my schedule is often highly flexible, I am happy to adjust to last-minute requests and ensure your pet gets undivided attention whenever they need it. When caring for your pets in your home, my top priorities are their safety, comfort, and keeping their normal routine completely intact. I strictly follow all feeding, medication, and exercise instructions to minimize any stress or anxiety they might feel while you are away. I treat your home with the utmost respect by ensuring doors are locked, security systems are armed, and everything is kept clean and tidy. To give you total peace of mind, I will send you regular photo and video updates throughout my stay so you always know your pet is happy, safe, and receiving the absolute best care.

“Emily goes above and beyond every time she cares for our dog. Our puppy wasn’t feeling well recently and Emily voluntarily cleaned up the accident. We always appreciate her looking after our dog!”

“Christine has babysat mister kitty before. She always does a good job. Mister kitty loves her. I would hire her again. And as a matter of fact, I am. We already have another Babysitting appointments set.”

“We couldn’t ask for a nicer person to watch our 3 cats. They love her visits, especially our male cat Neo. He enjoys playtime with Stephanie and will look for her after we’ve returned home. High compliments from our picky trio.”

About: I have grown up with dogs in my family my entire life. That’s why I understand that they’re not pets- they’re family. My family was big on adoption but we got our first puppy when I was 10 and I took the reigns to train her into one of the sweetest and smartest dogs we had ever owned I’m currently working full time with a flexible schedule that isn’t set, so I would be available to make visits 2-3 times a day or stay overnight to help care for whatever pet needs you may have. I would be available to walk at least once a day for visits, and allow outside at least twice. I could feed and check in at least twice a day as well. There could be more opportunity if I would be staying overnight and depending on the need of your pets, along with my availability for the week

About: I'm a stay-at-home, homeschooling mother of four, and I have one dog (yellow lab mix) and two cats! I love animals and since we are home majority of the time, your pet will have ample love, attention, and care. MY entire downstairs is tile and we have a backyard, so puppies still needing house training would be acceptable. I'm happy to walk/run with dogs, care for cats, come to your home to do check ins, whatever you're looking for, just ask! I have taken care of animals for family, and I appreciate any details or notes you have so I can provide the very best quality of care for your individual pet. I am home majority of the day with my kids. I have young kids ages 5-11 and I homeschool, so we are home most of the time. I take our dog on a walk or run in the morning around 7am or earlier, and again in the evening if the weather is nice. I have plenty of time for loving and caring for your pet! I offer care in our home, or in yours depending on your needs. Your pet will be exercised, fed, watered, loved, played with, cleaned up after, and all around cared for and adored. I can only provide care to animals who are okay with children and other pets, to keep everyone safe from natural pet instincts to protect themselves. My children have been taught to use only gentle and loving hands with slow approach with adult supervision. In the event we need to leave the house I do require kenneling for dogs if they are known to chew/scratch. I am happy to provide pictures and updates, so that you can rest assured your pet is happy and thriving while you are away.
About: I have lived with and cared for animals my whole life and absolutely love and respect them and all their different personalities l. I grew up with a giant cage of birds, 5 guinea pigs and a chinchilla to now living with 2 cats and a dog. I genuinely adore animals and have been pet sitting for friends and family for years. I will go above and beyond to ensure that your fur baby feels cherished and cared for. I am also a professional photographer so I’ll be able to capture some incredible memories with your fur babies if you let me! I am currently working part time. My bartending shifts are on average no more than 6hrs, 2-3 days a week. I am also a professional photographer with sessions only lasting 1-2 hrs so I have plenty of time to give the right attention to your fur babies. I decided to rent a large house with a yard for my fur babies to run around and go outside whenever they need to. I prioritize their physical health and diligently maintain their schedules, and provide them with a balanced and nutritious diet tailored to their specific dietary requirements. I understand the importance of exercise and engage them in stimulating activities to keep their bodies strong and agile. I recognize the significance of mental and emotional well-being in pets and create a safe and comfortable space for them, complete with cozy beds, engaging toys, and hiding spots for relaxation. Regular playtime and interactive sessions help stimulate their minds and prevent boredom. Whether it's puzzle toys, training sessions, or engaging in their favorite games, I actively promote mental stimulation and social interaction.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Waddell
Chuck was great at taking care of our cat Trina. She is a challenge because her past life causes her to avoid strangers. Chuck understands all that. We appreciate how neat and clean he kept everything and his photos and reports of his visits. It gave us peace of mind knowing he was taking good care of her so we could finally take a trip that was long overdue.

Our "cat whisperer"!! Our cats love her and wait at the door for her. She has an excellent way for calming them down and showing them love. Our calico, Carly, is very shy, but she approaches Amber from the first meeting. We highly recommend her and have used her services many times. Thank you again Amber!!
Annabella was amazing! She went above and beyond to care for our cat Loki while we were on vacation. The night we left, our fire alarms became defective and kept setting off until our maintenance team could come fix them the next day. Annabella stayed extra long during her visit to reassure Loki and comfort him. Our litter robot also had a connection issue, and she was able to reset it & set up an emergency litter box I had shipped to the home. The fire alarm situation caused me a lot of anxiety at the beginning of the trip, but the daily updates and photos from Annabella made me feel so much better and we were able to thoroughly enjoy the rest of our trip, knowing our boy was in good hands! We would definitely rebook with her on future trips. :)

I am always so happy when Krysten takes care of my cat Wolfy. I always know he is in loving and caring hands. She not only takes care of him, but also brings in my mail and any other needs Wolfy or I may have. My home looks so clean and untouched when I come home, and Wolfy is calm and content. It gives me a sense of calm during my times away. I highly recommend Krysten when searching for a pet sitter. A+++++++++++++++++++

Laura is awesome! She is super communicative, kind and so attentive to our fur babies and their needs. Loved the photos she sent, too. Laura was flexible and very understanding throughout our booking. When we were unreachable during our trip, she coordinated with our neighbors as needed. Highly recommend and so grateful for her services!

I had a great experience with Caprial. One of my two cats is usually very easily scared and tends to hide around new people, but surprisingly showed no signs of fear around her at all. Both cats seemed comfortable and well cared for. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and kind sitter.

Chance did a great job taking care of our two cats while we were away during a holiday weekend. He followed all our instructions, kept the house clean, and sent great updates and photos. He was also very responsive each time I messaged him. I would definitely book with him again!

Dina was very reliable, caring and an effective communicator before, during and after 6-day check ins with my cat. I had full confidence in her during that time period (which included admin of medication) that my cat was well cared for. I will use Dina’s services for any future need.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
