I’m so grateful to have always been surrounded by furry family members as my household has never been without the wonderful presence of dogs, cats, or even various rodents/reptiles/birds throughout the years 😂 So, while 20+ years of personal experience may technically be accurate, I’d say that a majority of my experience was gained within the past 8 years: learning and experiencing responsibility, hardship, and companionship through my own kitties and doggos, volunteering at cat shelters, and overnight dog sitting for family members with variously aged pets. Through these opportunities, I was able to gain experience with a wide range of pets from energetic puppies that love to chew and play all day to senior dogs that may need meds given or diapers changed and shy/scared kitties that need lots of patience and kindness to playful cats that want constant attention and affection :) I'm excited to become part of your pets' lives whether that consists of play time and pets during a check-in or cuddles on the couch while I keep them company overnight!
