“Velvet is an older small dog (almost 14) and Michele and her family took excellent care of her while I was on vacation. Michele kept both my sister (Velvet's mom) and I informed with daily pictures and updates. I'd definitely use Michele again when I need to board Velvet. Thank you so much Michele.”

“Loved getting the pictures while we were gone! Thank you for bringing in boxes! Felt at ease that she was checking in on the cat! Very reliable! Great and easy communication! Much appreciated!”

“Annabella was awesome! She came into my home to check on my dog Bear and handled everything perfectly, even though it was her first time meeting him and being in my house. Bear can be a little unsure at first, but he warmed up to her quickly which says a lot. She was super friendly, easy to communicate with, and made the whole process feel really comfortable. I really appreciated the update and the photo she sent too. I’d definitely trust her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and great with their pet!”

“I am so thankful and overjoyed to have found Krysten here on Rover. I have two cats, and one is eighteen years old and having some difficulty. I was very reluctant to leave them, but I had a family commitment to attend. Krysten has totally shifted my fear of having to leave home. She took such amazing care of Wolfy and Lucian, and kept me updated throughout the weekend. I absolutely loved all the photos she sent me, and provided me with details all about how they were doing. It really eased all my anxiety, knowing they were in such loving and attentive hands. Both my cats took to her immediately during the meet and greet, so I knew it would be a great match. It was funny when I got home, because they were both looking around, and went to the front door soon after like they were waiting for Krysten to come in to see them. I think they are missing her already. I am so happy, and I know now that the next time I have to go away, I have Rover to count on, and Krysten will be the person I really hope will be available to care for Wolfy and Lucian. Thank you so so very much Krysten!!!!!!”

What sets me apart is my attention to detail and comfort with all aspects of feline care. I also send regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your cat is in caring, capable hands.

About: I've lived with dogs all of my life. Friends and family have relied on me and my wife to take care of their pets many times. We have done it all, from bathing and walks to giving medication. We have a Shar Pei, Labrador mix, Nova, and she is the sweetest, non-aggressive, playful dog you'll meet. Nova gets bi-weekly social dog training so she is comfortable with new dogs and people. We would love to care for dogs that are also comfortable with children as we have two young kids. They are both comfortable with dogs and respectful of their space and varying needs. I work full-time from home and my wife works part-time. We have plenty of time to play with your pup and keep them feeling loved. We give frequent potty breaks, but please let us know if you have a specific potty schedule. We offer a lot of play time and our backyard is the best for fetch. We are available weekdays and most weekends. We look forward to taking care of your day care and boarding needs. We have a very large, fenced yard for the dogs to run and play that includes a huge grass area. We can accommodate any special exercise requests, such as walking schedules. We have two crates in our home that are available for our guests to use, but we encourage you to bring anything that may help your dog feel the most comfortable. We'd be happy to accommodate space for these items. We love to know how your dog likes to play and any special needs they may have so that we may make it the most comfortable stay for them...a home away from home!

Dogs and Cats give me great pleasure and are ultra important in my life. If you are a dog and cat lover then you are my kind of people. I have just recently retired and this is the perfect gig for me. They get Walked, I get walked, They Play, I play, They get loved, I get loved. I have experience with puppies, kittens, Young dogs and senior dogs. Young cats, and senior cats. I will meet the needs of your fur family and take great care. Since I am retired now, I have full availability for you and your pets. Drop-In visits, feeding, potty breaks, play time, dog walking, in-house sitting, or boarding in our home. Whatever your needs are, I am available. Give me a try. You will be very pleased. As I mentioned earlier, I have just recently retired and am a High energy completely dependable person for you and your pets. I am available at all times and days of the week. I'm perfect for this... We will develop a long term relationship so I can be there for you whenever you travel or need to be away. Your pets will get to know me and feel comfortable and won't stress when you are gone. I think it's important for pets to be in a place that they are familiar with in your home or my home. It's far better than taking them anywhere else. If friends are supposed to come over and take care of your babies, they may run over just before you get home and will not give you the care you hoped for. We know, as this has happened to us. Also, kennels are the worst. Never take them them there. I'm your guy and you will be very pleased with my service and attentiveness. Give me a try

About: *IMPORTANT SUMMER INFO* I do not walk dogs when temps are over 95 during the day. I will walk up to 100 degrees when the sun is not out (early morning or after sunset). Walks will change to drop-ins (no change in price) if temps exceed this. We are a dog loving family and welcome small to medium size dogs for doggy daycare. Pam is available for dog walking and drop-ins on weekdays. For daycare, we have 3 resident dogs who will welcome your pooch to the pack, so yours should be good with other dogs. Our backyard is fully fenced, with a pool that your pup can cool off in. **The dogs are fully supervised any time they have access to the pool.** Pam works solely from home and Joe works in ministry just two miles away. Our schedules allow us to show your fur baby a great time and all the love and attention it will need while you are away for the day. Please let us know if you have any questions about your pup's needs. We look forward to welcoming them to our pack! ~Pam & Joe Why I love dog sitting I grew up with cats but fell in love with dogs when I got my first one, Maggie, in my twenties. Maggie was a Sheltie and was my companion through a lot of life's ups and downs. In 2010, I adopted Snickers & Itty Bitty, a malkie and care-tzu. Maggie, Snickers and Itty Bitty all lived to 15 years old, but we would have loved many more years with them. We now have Toby, a small mixed breed who is 10, Lucky, a Maltipoo, who was rehomed to us, and Ginger, a cavapoo princess who we were blessed to find through a rescue. About my yard Our backyard is fully fenced and landscaped. We have a pool and your dog is welcome to swim, or cool off on the baja step, if they like. We have a grass side yard that is a designated potty area for the pups. Pam works part-time from home and Joe works just 2 miles away. While Pam is home working, our 3 resident fur babies are never far away, sometimes even sleeping on her lap or desk. We have a gate that keeps dogs from accessing the front door. Our front door and back doors both have security screens, so if we open the door they can't run out. Our back yard is fully fenced and double fenced on the one side that opens to the front yard/street.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. I absolutely love animals especially dogs. I’ve trained all my personal dogs with basic commands. Let’s talk I’m currently retired and spend all day at home in the house and in my yard. My dogs go outside every hour for potty and play every hour unless I’m gone. I take my girls out first thing in the morning I walk out behind garage near orchard to let them go potty. They eat and then play and go back outside with me only as I don’t have fenced yard and want to be sure they go out back. They are placed in crate when I am not home for their safety and typically sleep there during the night or in bed with me. They go outside every hour to potty and run.

Adventure-ready dog walkers - Waddell
About: My work background is in speech therapy/behavior with kids, which is all about sensory regulation, teaching strategies and harnessing a learner’s motivation 🐶. Friends, teachers, and neighbors have counted on me to care for their pets in the past, and when younger I cared for both my own English bulldog Darwin and partner’s Doberman, and most recently we loved our family dog Leo, an American Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix until this February. I am a small person, so walking these tough guys and handling them so well always seemed to surprise people! I work from home remotely, full time during weekdays; however I am mostly in charge of scheduling my own hour-long appointments, so I can be flexible with drop ins or walks between my appointments throughout the day. My family has a nice fenced backyard, with turf/putting holes, some rocks, and a gated pool, and with our house at the end of a quiet little street. The backyard has my container garden, a small greenhouse, and a shaded porch with patio furniture. Our home has spacious living areas, and our home is kept clean with plenty of light. I do like to go on daily walks myself, and sometimes for a run, so we could do this if that’s what your dog is used to. My 16 yr old and 4 yr old are knowledgeable, respectful, and even helpful with the animals in our care, as appropriate for their ages.
“Shelby always arrive promptly as scheduled. More important, she is very pleasant and warm with Ema (my pooch). It is very clear Ema adores Shelby's company and looks forward to their walks. Highly recommended!”

“Kysten was excellent!! She was very thorough communicating with me about her visits. Which made me feel very comfortable to know that Bosley (who is 16) was well taken care of. Thanks again!!!”

About: What sets me apart is the combination of genuine love for animals, hands-on experience, and attention to detail. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages – from playful puppies to wise seniors – and I understand that every pet has unique needs. I’m especially comfortable with senior dogs who may need medications, slower walks, or extra patience, and I have experience with basic puppy training, including crate training, leash manners, and potty routines. I’m also a great communicator – pet parents always know how their furry friend is doing, with regular updates and photos. Whether it’s keeping up with a high-energy pup or gently caring for an older dog, I adapt my care to fit their personality and needs. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe, loved, and right at home. As a college athlete, I maintain a structured and active routine — and I make pet care a priority within that. I have plenty of downtime between classes and practices, which gives me the flexibility to schedule drop-in visits, feedings, and quality playtime with your pet. I’m highly responsible with time management and always communicate my availability clearly. If I have an upcoming game or weekend away, I let clients know in advance and only accept bookings I can fully commit to. My goal is to provide reliable, loving care whenever I’m available — and to make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for while you're away. When I care for pets in a client’s home, my focus is always on keeping their routine consistent, their environment clean, and their comfort level high. I follow all instructions closely — from feeding schedules and litter box cleaning to medication or specific quirks your cat (or dog!) may have. I respect your home like it’s my own: I keep things tidy, secure doors and windows, and always make sure your pet has fresh water, a clean space, and plenty of love and attention. I also take time to observe their behavior to make sure they’re feeling okay — especially important for shy or senior pets. If you'd like, you’ll get regular updates with photos and notes, so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away. My goal is to make your absence as stress-free as possible — for both you and your pet.

About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 8 years, starting with my own fur babies and later expanding to dog and cat sitting for neighbors, friends, and family. In that time, I’ve gained hands-on experience with animal behavior, administering medications, and ensuring pets are safe and comfortable. I understand how important it is to care for both a pet’s physical and emotional needs, and I prioritize clear communication and reliability. When you choose me, you can trust that your pet will receive the attention, care, and love they deserve, giving you peace of mind while you're away. As a part-time student with most of my coursework online and just a few in-person lectures, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to your pets. This means I can offer your fur babies the attention, playtime, and care they deserve throughout the week. I always make sure to prioritize their needs and ensure I have more than enough time to give them the love and attention they need while you’re away.. I’ll care for your fur babies like they’re my own, offering plenty of playtime, walks, cuddles, and enrichment activities to keep them happy and engaged. About: I raised our family golden retriever from 8 weeks old who is now up in MN living with my sister! She is like my baby, and that’s how I see animals. To me animals are not pets, they are individuals 🩵 Other than that I am looking to grow experience and just make some more animal friends! I do have intermediate experience with high level training as her purpose was to be a service dog. I am self employed, so can work from anywhere at anytime, and can fit my schedule around things very easily! Since I am my own boss, walking or stopping in to see your furry friend is a very wonderful break for me 😊 When I was raising our family’s golden retriever, there was a designated “Daisy Time” scheduled throughout the day. She got a great walk that was slow so she could smell whatever she wants, and go as long as she wanted, 10 minute training, cuddle time until she didn’t want to anymore, and focused play time for at least 20 minutes. I also always made sure she could be near me while working, and I trained her to ring a bell whenever she needed to go potty!

I'm looking to change my career - yes, this late in life - to do something I've always wanted to do: share my love with as many fur babies as possible. You can count on me to provide friendly, fun, and responsible care for your fur baby! I am retired. My schedule is pretty open and flexible. I walk my dog. I also do social activities in my community 2 times a week. I can walk, sit and visit, feed and water your fur babies. I'm open to extra duties inside your home. I love to pet, cuddle and play.
About: I’ve owned dogs and cats my whole life. Animals are so special to me and are a great source of happiness. I've worked professionally at a zoo and a vet clinic which gave me vast knowledge in animal care and health. I am available weekdays and weekends to ensure your needs can be met. I will be starting school to become a veterinary technician and will be studying in my free time soon. This will only help me in better caring for your pets. Pets are just furry children, and they all have different wants and needs. Cuddles and pets are great, but others like their space or burning off energy. I treat your animals the same way I would want mine treated. I’d love to get to know your fur baby and make sure I provide the best care for them as individuals, and have a good time too!

About: I grew up with animals and I’ve never not had pets. I have had cats, dogs, rabbits, turtles, fish, lizards, and snakes. Sometimes you just need a little help and that’s what I’m here for. I love meeting new furry friends and I’m here for whatever they might need, whether that’s just a little love and attention, or a day to get out explore. I am pretty available at the moment, I am updating my schedule as it comes, it’s getting hot out so walks will have to be early morning or night time to save the paws. Your animal is your family and I will treat them as such. Every pets needs are unique and I’m prepared to meet every individual one for every pet. I would love to chat and really get to know exactly what you’re looking for. PS I have a dog spa at my apartment :)

About: Hi there, fur mom/dad! We’re a dog-loving couple who have had dogs our entire lives and truly understand how important it is to find a safe, loving home away from home for your pup. We currently have a friendly Maltipoo who is a cherished member of our family. Both of us work from home, which means we have flexible schedules and can provide plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. Our home features a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time. We do not have a doggy door, so your dog will never be left to go outside unsupervised. We closely monitor all outdoor activities to ensure their safety and comfort. We’re also fortunate to have several walkable parks near our home, providing great opportunities for exercise, playtime, and exploring new sights and smells. Most importantly, we treat every dog as if they were our own. Your pup will receive lots of love, affection, and care, and we’ll do our best to make them feel comfortable, secure, and right at home during their stay with us. Pet care is a natural part of our daily routine. Since we both work from home, we have flexible schedules that allow us to provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Caring for dogs is something we genuinely enjoy and prioritize every day. We have a fenced yard and a Maltipoo to keep your dog company. Since we work from home, pets receive plenty of attention and supervision throughout their stay.
