About: As a proud pet parent to five dogs of my own, my life revolves around animals and their happiness! Managing a large, diverse pack has given me invaluable, hands-on experience for multiple different breeds, small and large, with everything from high-energy playtime to specialized feeding schedules (including medical care) and multi-dog dynamics. I have multiple years of experience through volunteer work and have aided in the care of dogs of all ages including puppies and senior dogs. My care also extends beyond canines, I have experience babysitting cats, so I'm well versed in feline personalities, litter box maintenance, and giving cats their space (or all the cuddles they want). My passion for animal welfare runs deep, for the past two years, I have founded and run a local fundraiser dedicated to supporting our area's animal shelters. Whether your pet needs high-energy companionship or calm, patient supervision, I treat every guest with the same love, dedication, and safety that I give to my own pack. I often have availability seven days a week, making it easy to accommodate your pet's specific routine, whether they need early morning walks, midday drop-ins, or random check ins. Because my schedule is often highly flexible, I am happy to adjust to last-minute requests and ensure your pet gets undivided attention whenever they need it. When caring for your pets in your home, my top priorities are their safety, comfort, and keeping their normal routine completely intact. I strictly follow all feeding, medication, and exercise instructions to minimize any stress or anxiety they might feel while you are away. I treat your home with the utmost respect by ensuring doors are locked, security systems are armed, and everything is kept clean and tidy. To give you total peace of mind, I will send you regular photo and video updates throughout my stay so you always know your pet is happy, safe, and receiving the absolute best care.

About: I have grown up with dogs in my family my entire life. That’s why I understand that they’re not pets- they’re family. My family was big on adoption but we got our first puppy when I was 10 and I took the reigns to train her into one of the sweetest and smartest dogs we had ever owned I’m currently working full time with a flexible schedule that isn’t set, so I would be available to make visits 2-3 times a day or stay overnight to help care for whatever pet needs you may have. I would be available to walk at least once a day for visits, and allow outside at least twice. I could feed and check in at least twice a day as well. There could be more opportunity if I would be staying overnight and depending on the need of your pets, along with my availability for the week
“Kysten was excellent!! She was very thorough communicating with me about her visits. Which made me feel very comfortable to know that Bosley (who is 16) was well taken care of. Thanks again!!!”

“Dina has been walking my elderly mom's dog daily. She's friendly and beyond reliable, helping in personal way. We're happy to have her! Our little dog was immediately comfortable with Dina and we hope for a long lasting friendship.”

About: Hi I’m Kylea! I’m a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom and lifelong animal lover. Animals truly bring me so much joy and happiness and I would love to care for yours! While in my care, your pet(s) will receive tons of love, attention, playtime, and snuggles. Daily updates will be given as well as pictures! I have a lifelong experience caring for dogs, cats, and other small pets, and I will follow any special feeding schedules. I can administer medications if needed, and will accommodate unique care instructions. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I can care for any age whether it’s a puppy and still potty training or a senior dog that needs assistance and gentle care. I know how important our pets are—they’re family. That’s why I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away, knowing your pet(s) is receiving the best care possible. I can’t wait to meet you and your amazing pet(s) and give them a fun, loving home away from home! 🐾💕 I will always be home to love and care for your pet(s). Your pet(s) is my top priority and your request is highly respected for the care of your sweet pet(s). During the AZ summer, dogs will remain inside for the majority of the day but will still get tons of playtime because in our home- we play ball in the house! :) Your pet(s) will have frequent potty breaks and tons of playtime outside when the weather isn’t extremely hot to prevent your sweet pet(s) from being overheated. I have a double fenced yard and tons of space for your pet to play. Artificial grass, a doggie pool for those dogs who love to play in water, tons of toys, an outdoor cooler with pump, & misters and fans (though dogs will never be left outside for a long period of time). As for cats- I will keep them separated in their own, quiet space with their own litter box, food, water, and accessories until they seem to feel comfortable. Then I will introduce the cat(s) slowly to the other cats and the to home.
“Thank you Emily So much for walking Lulu! I would definitely recommend Emily! She communicates very well with you and keeps you posted with updated pictures and videos. Lulu appreciates the walks.”

About: I have been taking care dogs for the past 10 years of my life. I have been a dog lover for as long as I remember and truly believe they are man’s best friend! I am currently a stay at home wife with a lot of time to dedicate to your fur baby! I spend all day ensuring my pups feel nurtured and happy. I have a fenced yard and plenty of space for your fur baby to play. I also have 2 dogs of my own that can keep your baby company if they are comfortable. I will also meet the needs of whatever your fur baby is feeling and adhere to your standard of care!
About: What sets me apart is the combination of genuine love for animals, hands-on experience, and attention to detail. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages – from playful puppies to wise seniors – and I understand that every pet has unique needs. I’m especially comfortable with senior dogs who may need medications, slower walks, or extra patience, and I have experience with basic puppy training, including crate training, leash manners, and potty routines. I’m also a great communicator – pet parents always know how their furry friend is doing, with regular updates and photos. Whether it’s keeping up with a high-energy pup or gently caring for an older dog, I adapt my care to fit their personality and needs. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe, loved, and right at home. As a college athlete, I maintain a structured and active routine — and I make pet care a priority within that. I have plenty of downtime between classes and practices, which gives me the flexibility to schedule drop-in visits, feedings, and quality playtime with your pet. I’m highly responsible with time management and always communicate my availability clearly. If I have an upcoming game or weekend away, I let clients know in advance and only accept bookings I can fully commit to. My goal is to provide reliable, loving care whenever I’m available — and to make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for while you're away. When I care for pets in a client’s home, my focus is always on keeping their routine consistent, their environment clean, and their comfort level high. I follow all instructions closely — from feeding schedules and litter box cleaning to medication or specific quirks your cat (or dog!) may have. I respect your home like it’s my own: I keep things tidy, secure doors and windows, and always make sure your pet has fresh water, a clean space, and plenty of love and attention. I also take time to observe their behavior to make sure they’re feeling okay — especially important for shy or senior pets. If you'd like, you’ll get regular updates with photos and notes, so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away. My goal is to make your absence as stress-free as possible — for both you and your pet.

About: I'm a stay-at-home, homeschooling mother of four, and I have one dog (yellow lab mix) and two cats! I love animals and since we are home majority of the time, your pet will have ample love, attention, and care. MY entire downstairs is tile and we have a backyard, so puppies still needing house training would be acceptable. I'm happy to walk/run with dogs, care for cats, come to your home to do check ins, whatever you're looking for, just ask! I have taken care of animals for family, and I appreciate any details or notes you have so I can provide the very best quality of care for your individual pet. I am home majority of the day with my kids. I have young kids ages 5-11 and I homeschool, so we are home most of the time. I take our dog on a walk or run in the morning around 7am or earlier, and again in the evening if the weather is nice. I have plenty of time for loving and caring for your pet! I offer care in our home, or in yours depending on your needs. Your pet will be exercised, fed, watered, loved, played with, cleaned up after, and all around cared for and adored. I can only provide care to animals who are okay with children and other pets, to keep everyone safe from natural pet instincts to protect themselves. My children have been taught to use only gentle and loving hands with slow approach with adult supervision. In the event we need to leave the house I do require kenneling for dogs if they are known to chew/scratch. I am happy to provide pictures and updates, so that you can rest assured your pet is happy and thriving while you are away.
About: I have raised and cared for animals nearly my whole life. I have a background and education in animal husbandry and nature conservation. I also have many years of vet tech experience with exotic and domestic animals, as well as training skills to include: aggression/behavior correction; off-leash and obedience training; house-breaking and crate training; socialization and interspecies cohabitation. Rest assured your pet will be in a loving, clean, secure and structured environment with plenty of room to play and relax. I work from home and I keep my own hours, so I have the ability to be flexible and accommodating. All I ask is that we work together to find an appropriate schedule that works for both of us. Our home is adjacent to a wonderful park with walking paths, small ponds and a spacious dog park. I have quite a large fenced-in yard with several established shade trees, so pets have plenty of safe space to roam freely. I have a pet door that can accommodate up to a Medium sized dog (approx 26" tall at the shoulder). I work from home so larger pets still have regular access outside for potty breaks and play. I have a spayed female Maine coon cat in the home that is very social and is socialized with dog and cats.
About: I’ve been a dog owner most of my life, I currently dog sit for friends. I also have experience administering medications via oral and dermal. I’m a 3rd grade teacher with 2 kids who love puppies. I love dogs and have been a dog owner most of my life. I am comfortable with all breeds. We live in a house with a yard for running around and we have several parks in our neighborhood to run around at. We live in a safe quiet neighborhood that we feel comfortable walking any time day or night.

Right now, I myself have 3 cats and 2 dogs, but I've had fish, rabbits, guinea pigs, lizards, you name it! Always looking for more opportunities to experience and bond with others' sweet pets:) I usually work from around 9am to around 3 pm on weekdays, so will have plenty of time throughout the day for walks and play time! I am usually available most times on weekends as well. I always make sure everything is clean, safe, and organized before I leave and that all animals are happy and healthy. I won't be able to stop loving on them, so rest assured that your pets will get PLENTY of affection and play time!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
