“Krysten has provided excellent care for Xander for the time scheduled. Xander was comfortable and content. I received pictures of his daily smiles. I will definitely schedule with Krysten as the need arises in the future.”

About: I'm a stay-at-home, homeschooling mother of four, and I have one dog (yellow lab mix) and two cats! I love animals and since we are home majority of the time, your pet will have ample love, attention, and care. MY entire downstairs is tile and we have a backyard, so puppies still needing house training would be acceptable. I'm happy to walk/run with dogs, care for cats, come to your home to do check ins, whatever you're looking for, just ask! I have taken care of animals for family, and I appreciate any details or notes you have so I can provide the very best quality of care for your individual pet. I am home majority of the day with my kids. I have young kids ages 5-11 and I homeschool, so we are home most of the time. I take our dog on a walk or run in the morning around 7am or earlier, and again in the evening if the weather is nice. I have plenty of time for loving and caring for your pet! I offer care in our home, or in yours depending on your needs. Your pet will be exercised, fed, watered, loved, played with, cleaned up after, and all around cared for and adored. I can only provide care to animals who are okay with children and other pets, to keep everyone safe from natural pet instincts to protect themselves. My children have been taught to use only gentle and loving hands with slow approach with adult supervision. In the event we need to leave the house I do require kenneling for dogs if they are known to chew/scratch. I am happy to provide pictures and updates, so that you can rest assured your pet is happy and thriving while you are away.
“Dina has been walking my elderly mom's dog daily. She's friendly and beyond reliable, helping in personal way. We're happy to have her! Our little dog was immediately comfortable with Dina and we hope for a long lasting friendship.”

About: Hi I’m Kylea! I’m a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom and lifelong animal lover. Animals truly bring me so much joy and happiness and I would love to care for yours! While in my care, your pet(s) will receive tons of love, attention, playtime, and snuggles. Daily updates will be given as well as pictures! I have a lifelong experience caring for dogs, cats, and other small pets, and I will follow any special feeding schedules. I can administer medications if needed, and will accommodate unique care instructions. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I can care for any age whether it’s a puppy and still potty training or a senior dog that needs assistance and gentle care. I know how important our pets are—they’re family. That’s why I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away, knowing your pet(s) is receiving the best care possible. I can’t wait to meet you and your amazing pet(s) and give them a fun, loving home away from home! 🐾💕 I will always be home to love and care for your pet(s). Your pet(s) is my top priority and your request is highly respected for the care of your sweet pet(s). During the AZ summer, dogs will remain inside for the majority of the day but will still get tons of playtime because in our home- we play ball in the house! :) Your pet(s) will have frequent potty breaks and tons of playtime outside when the weather isn’t extremely hot to prevent your sweet pet(s) from being overheated. I have a double fenced yard and tons of space for your pet to play. Artificial grass, a doggie pool for those dogs who love to play in water, tons of toys, an outdoor cooler with pump, & misters and fans (though dogs will never be left outside for a long period of time). As for cats- I will keep them separated in their own, quiet space with their own litter box, food, water, and accessories until they seem to feel comfortable. Then I will introduce the cat(s) slowly to the other cats and the to home.
About: Hi, I’m Amanda! I grew up on a farm in rural upstate New York, where caring for animals was part of everyday life. I am very comfortable handling animals with different personalities, sizes, and energy levels. Because of that background, I’m calm, observant, and confident when it comes to animal care. About: As a pet owner myself, I know how stressful it can be to find someone whose schedule truly works with your pet’s needs. That’s honestly why I joined Rover. I wanted to be that reliable person for other pet owners who may feel overwhelmed trying to find the right care. I have plenty of free time, work from home and genuinely love being around animals, so your pets will get lots of attention, love, and consistency. They won’t be left feeling alone or ignored while they’re with me. I’m here to keep them company, give them plenty of affection, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy the entire time. I treat every pet like they’re my own because I know how important they are to you. I have experience with puppies, older dogs, and everything in between. My goal is to give your pets the same love and care I would want someone to give my babies. ❤️ I work from home, so I’m flexible with my schedule. I’m up at early as 5:00 and I go to bed at 11 I’ve had dogs my entire life, and they are truly part of my family. My oldest dog is 15, and I also have a puppy, so I’ve experienced caring for dogs at every stage of life. When I care for someone else’s dog, I treat them exactly how I would want someone to treat my own. I’m attentive to their needs, keep a close eye on them, and make sure they are safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout their stay. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I take that responsibility seriously. ❤️
About: I used to have 3 dogs I helped take care of everyday before my family moved across the country. They were my best companions: a dachshund, yorkie, and italian greyhound chihuahua. I took care of them and countless amounts of dogs for family friends; mastiffs, white labs, black labs, and more chihuahuas. I currently am a part-time student at Arizona State, but I am free on Monday-Friday at any time, and some weekends as long as I’m informed or asked to pet-sit a week in advance. We have a small, fenced yard that I use for my own dogs that we occasionally play with them in. This is easy for me to use play time for in a clients home.

“Emily, thanks for taking the time with Signe to ensure that her time in the park was more than entertainment and interacting with other dogs, but instead included using the park as a "comfort station." I know that made Signe's time back in the crate more comfortable for her. We also appreciate the photos you provided.”

About: What sets me apart is the combination of genuine love for animals, hands-on experience, and attention to detail. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages – from playful puppies to wise seniors – and I understand that every pet has unique needs. I’m especially comfortable with senior dogs who may need medications, slower walks, or extra patience, and I have experience with basic puppy training, including crate training, leash manners, and potty routines. I’m also a great communicator – pet parents always know how their furry friend is doing, with regular updates and photos. Whether it’s keeping up with a high-energy pup or gently caring for an older dog, I adapt my care to fit their personality and needs. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe, loved, and right at home. As a college athlete, I maintain a structured and active routine — and I make pet care a priority within that. I have plenty of downtime between classes and practices, which gives me the flexibility to schedule drop-in visits, feedings, and quality playtime with your pet. I’m highly responsible with time management and always communicate my availability clearly. If I have an upcoming game or weekend away, I let clients know in advance and only accept bookings I can fully commit to. My goal is to provide reliable, loving care whenever I’m available — and to make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for while you're away. When I care for pets in a client’s home, my focus is always on keeping their routine consistent, their environment clean, and their comfort level high. I follow all instructions closely — from feeding schedules and litter box cleaning to medication or specific quirks your cat (or dog!) may have. I respect your home like it’s my own: I keep things tidy, secure doors and windows, and always make sure your pet has fresh water, a clean space, and plenty of love and attention. I also take time to observe their behavior to make sure they’re feeling okay — especially important for shy or senior pets. If you'd like, you’ll get regular updates with photos and notes, so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away. My goal is to make your absence as stress-free as possible — for both you and your pet.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
