About: My work background is in speech therapy/behavior with kids, which is all about sensory regulation, teaching strategies and harnessing a learner’s motivation 🐶. Friends, teachers, and neighbors have counted on me to care for their pets in the past, and when younger I cared for both my own English bulldog Darwin and partner’s Doberman, and most recently we loved our family dog Leo, an American Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix until this February. I am a small person, so walking these tough guys and handling them so well always seemed to surprise people! I work from home remotely, full time during weekdays; however I am mostly in charge of scheduling my own hour-long appointments, so I can be flexible with drop ins or walks between my appointments throughout the day. My family has a nice fenced backyard, with turf/putting holes, some rocks, and a gated pool, and with our house at the end of a quiet little street. The backyard has my container garden, a small greenhouse, and a shaded porch with patio furniture. Our home has spacious living areas, and our home is kept clean with plenty of light. I do like to go on daily walks myself, and sometimes for a run, so we could do this if that’s what your dog is used to. My 16 yr old and 4 yr old are knowledgeable, respectful, and even helpful with the animals in our care, as appropriate for their ages.

“Krysten has provided excellent care for Xander for the time scheduled. Xander was comfortable and content. I received pictures of his daily smiles. I will definitely schedule with Krysten as the need arises in the future.”

About: What sets me apart is the combination of genuine love for animals, hands-on experience, and attention to detail. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages – from playful puppies to wise seniors – and I understand that every pet has unique needs. I’m especially comfortable with senior dogs who may need medications, slower walks, or extra patience, and I have experience with basic puppy training, including crate training, leash manners, and potty routines. I’m also a great communicator – pet parents always know how their furry friend is doing, with regular updates and photos. Whether it’s keeping up with a high-energy pup or gently caring for an older dog, I adapt my care to fit their personality and needs. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe, loved, and right at home. As a college athlete, I maintain a structured and active routine — and I make pet care a priority within that. I have plenty of downtime between classes and practices, which gives me the flexibility to schedule drop-in visits, feedings, and quality playtime with your pet. I’m highly responsible with time management and always communicate my availability clearly. If I have an upcoming game or weekend away, I let clients know in advance and only accept bookings I can fully commit to. My goal is to provide reliable, loving care whenever I’m available — and to make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for while you're away. When I care for pets in a client’s home, my focus is always on keeping their routine consistent, their environment clean, and their comfort level high. I follow all instructions closely — from feeding schedules and litter box cleaning to medication or specific quirks your cat (or dog!) may have. I respect your home like it’s my own: I keep things tidy, secure doors and windows, and always make sure your pet has fresh water, a clean space, and plenty of love and attention. I also take time to observe their behavior to make sure they’re feeling okay — especially important for shy or senior pets. If you'd like, you’ll get regular updates with photos and notes, so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away. My goal is to make your absence as stress-free as possible — for both you and your pet.

About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 8 years, starting with my own fur babies and later expanding to dog and cat sitting for neighbors, friends, and family. In that time, I’ve gained hands-on experience with animal behavior, administering medications, and ensuring pets are safe and comfortable. I understand how important it is to care for both a pet’s physical and emotional needs, and I prioritize clear communication and reliability. When you choose me, you can trust that your pet will receive the attention, care, and love they deserve, giving you peace of mind while you're away. As a part-time student with most of my coursework online and just a few in-person lectures, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to your pets. This means I can offer your fur babies the attention, playtime, and care they deserve throughout the week. I always make sure to prioritize their needs and ensure I have more than enough time to give them the love and attention they need while you’re away.. I’ll care for your fur babies like they’re my own, offering plenty of playtime, walks, cuddles, and enrichment activities to keep them happy and engaged. Whether it’s providing mental stimulation, feeding, bathing, or taking them to vet visits (for an additional cost), I’m here to handle all their needs. You can count on me to ensure your pets feel loved, safe, and well cared for while you’re away, with attention to every detail that matters to you and your pet.

I can care for just about any animal! Fish included I’m currently between jobs so I have plenty of time to come and play with any animals! I’m available almost anytime during the week. I’m good with dogs, cats, and other animals of any size. I have lived with both dogs and cats so I understand what both need in terms of care and attention

About: I raised our family golden retriever from 8 weeks old who is now up in MN living with my sister! She is like my baby, and that’s how I see animals. To me animals are not pets, they are individuals 🩵 Other than that I am looking to grow experience and just make some more animal friends! I do have intermediate experience with high level training as her purpose was to be a service dog. I am self employed, so can work from anywhere at anytime, and can fit my schedule around things very easily! Since I am my own boss, walking or stopping in to see your furry friend is a very wonderful break for me 😊 When I was raising our family’s golden retriever, there was a designated “Daisy Time” scheduled throughout the day. She got a great walk that was slow so she could smell whatever she wants, and go as long as she wanted, 10 minute training, cuddle time until she didn’t want to anymore, and focused play time for at least 20 minutes. I also always made sure she could be near me while working, and I trained her to ring a bell whenever she needed to go potty!
About: Hi, I’m Amanda! I grew up on a farm in rural upstate New York, where caring for animals was part of everyday life. I am very comfortable handling animals with different personalities, sizes, and energy levels. Because of that background, I’m calm, observant, and confident when it comes to animal care. I’m reliable, calm in new situations, and genuinely enjoy caring for animals—not just watching them. ⸻ 💬 Closing Line I’d love to meet you and your pet—feel free to reach out with any questions! ⸻ Optional Add-On (if true for you) * “Available for early morning, evening, and weekend care” * “Comfortable administering basic medications if instructions are provided” I offer full availability—any day, any time—and am committed to being 100% reliable. About: I currently have a lab mix fur baby named Boris. I've also raised a German shepherd and a Keeshond. I give Boris lots of love, walks, and trips to the dog park, and I would love to care for your fur baby the same way. I'm open to caring for your loved one with or without mine on walks or at the dog park. I also love cats and would be happy to spend time playing, cuddling, or just making sure they are well fed. I love all animals and feel I connect with them. I'm responsible, reliable, and honest. I'm looking to change my career - yes, this late in life - to do something I've always wanted to do: share my love with as many fur babies as possible. You can count on me to provide friendly, fun, and responsible care for your fur baby! I am retired. My schedule is pretty open and flexible. I walk my dog. I also do social activities in my community 2 times a week. I can walk, sit and visit, feed and water your fur babies. I'm open to extra duties inside your home. I love to pet, cuddle and play.
About: I’ve owned dogs and cats my whole life. Animals are so special to me and are a great source of happiness. I've worked professionally at a zoo and a vet clinic which gave me vast knowledge in animal care and health. I am available weekdays and weekends to ensure your needs can be met. I will be starting school to become a veterinary technician and will be studying in my free time soon. This will only help me in better caring for your pets. Pets are just furry children, and they all have different wants and needs. Cuddles and pets are great, but others like their space or burning off energy. I treat your animals the same way I would want mine treated. I’d love to get to know your fur baby and make sure I provide the best care for them as individuals, and have a good time too!
