About: I’ve had both dogs and cats all throughout my childhood and adult life. I volunteered regularly at the Coconino Humane Society while attending college at NAU. I am a Special Education Teacher in the Dysart District. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I plan my schedule to ensure pets receive consistent attention, walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. Whether it's maintaining a pet's regular routine, providing exercise and enrichment, or simply offering comfort and affection, I make their well-being a priority and ensure they receive the care they need while their owners are away. I care for pets in their own home by following their regular routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care needs. I provide lots of attention, keep their environment clean and comfortable, and send regular updates so pet parents know their pets are safe and happy.
About: Experience caring for anxious and/or special needs animals (diapers, mobility issues, medication, senior dogs, puppies) both professionally and personally. I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been pet sitting on and off for family friends and neighbors since I was a teenager, but started doing so more professionally in the past 5 years. Most of my experience is with overnight care for dogs (ranging from a single night to a full month at a time) but I’m an animal lover with personal experience caring for every kind of pet imaginable (horses, ferrets, fish, cats, bunnies, reptiles/tortoises). I work very flexible hours part-time which mostly consists of work from home, this leaves my schedule wide open for overnight care and long stays. Very good at keeping consistency with feeding and medication schedules, as well as making sure potty breaks taken as frequently as needed (experience with special needs dogs who require being let outside/cleaned up after much more than other dogs).
About: I've been taking care of animals since I was 15 years old. From neighbors to work friends, I have loved every second with their furry friends! I love watching how each dog plays differently, some just want to lay down and be lazy while others can get the roomies for an hour and still not be tired, never a dull moment and I love it! In my experience in caring for dogs, I have given medicine for sick pups, took them on walks, and always made sure they were fed and loved! I am currently working full-time from 7:30-4, M-F. After 4 would work best, but am also an early bird to help before work in the morning as well :) I am also available all day on Saturday and Sunday. I do not offer care for pets in my home. This is due to the fact that I have two dogs of my own and wouldn't feel comfortable with them with other dogs, as they can get nippy. Please understand that I have this set for the safety of both of our loved furry friends. With that being said, I am more than happy to offer popping in to your home, if this is more preferred!
About: I used to have 3 dogs I helped take care of everyday before my family moved across the country. They were my best companions: a dachshund, yorkie, and italian greyhound chihuahua. I took care of them and countless amounts of dogs for family friends; mastiffs, white labs, black labs, and more chihuahuas. I currently am a part-time student at Arizona State, but I am free on Monday-Friday at any time, and some weekends as long as I’m informed or asked to pet-sit a week in advance. We have a small, fenced yard that I use for my own dogs that we occasionally play with them in. This is easy for me to use play time for in a clients home.
About: I’ve cared for dogs for family and friends for years, including larger breeds. My own dog, who was my best friend, passed away a few years ago, and he taught me so much about patience, love, and the care every dog deserves. I treat every dog as if they were my own and always make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I am transitioning toward a more flexible schedule that will allow me to dedicate more time to pet care. I am available for scheduled walks, drop-ins, and pet care needs outside of my work hours, and I am committed to providing reliable and consistent care. I care for pets by following their normal routines and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I’ll provide plenty of attention and exercise while respecting each pet’s personality and needs. In a client’s home, I’ll treat their space with care and keep them updated with photos and messages so they know their pet is happy.
About: I don’t just watch pets! I always show up ready to play, cuddle and earn their trust. I am great with shy, wild, or wise old senior pets. I tend to sing silly songs, but they don't mind. I plan my days around the pets I care for, making sure they get the attention, exercise, and love they need. Their schedule becomes my schedule. I'll love, care for and treat your pets like the masters of the manor they are! I'm happy to give them the time, love, attention (or space) that they need.
“First time stranger walk for Walter and first time using Rover and Daniel did not disappoint. Friendly and affectionate to our pup, he took our fluffernutter on an hour long walk. He even got our pooch a water when it seemed he was thirsty because I forgot to pack one. Thank you Daniel! Will be using you again, I’m sure.”

“Nayeli is always so professional in and around my home and my dogs--she is knowledgeable and friendly! Even my shy kid warmed up to her almost immediately! My dogs love her! I haven't been able to walk my dogs due to some health issues, and she has been so valuable to our family. Thank you so much for your continued care!”

About: What sets me apart is the combination of genuine love for animals, hands-on experience, and attention to detail. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages – from playful puppies to wise seniors – and I understand that every pet has unique needs. I’m especially comfortable with senior dogs who may need medications, slower walks, or extra patience, and I have experience with basic puppy training, including crate training, leash manners, and potty routines. I’m also a great communicator – pet parents always know how their furry friend is doing, with regular updates and photos. Whether it’s keeping up with a high-energy pup or gently caring for an older dog, I adapt my care to fit their personality and needs. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe, loved, and right at home. As a college athlete, I maintain a structured and active routine — and I make pet care a priority within that. I have plenty of downtime between classes and practices, which gives me the flexibility to schedule drop-in visits, feedings, and quality playtime with your pet. I’m highly responsible with time management and always communicate my availability clearly. If I have an upcoming game or weekend away, I let clients know in advance and only accept bookings I can fully commit to. My goal is to provide reliable, loving care whenever I’m available — and to make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for while you're away. When I care for pets in a client’s home, my focus is always on keeping their routine consistent, their environment clean, and their comfort level high. I follow all instructions closely — from feeding schedules and litter box cleaning to medication or specific quirks your cat (or dog!) may have. I respect your home like it’s my own: I keep things tidy, secure doors and windows, and always make sure your pet has fresh water, a clean space, and plenty of love and attention. I also take time to observe their behavior to make sure they’re feeling okay — especially important for shy or senior pets. If you'd like, you’ll get regular updates with photos and notes, so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away. My goal is to make your absence as stress-free as possible — for both you and your pet.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
