“Michelle is an excellent sitter. She kept our little Yorkie for 10 days and was obviously provided first-class care! I also appreciated the daily updates and pictures. I highly recommend Michelle and will use her again in the future!”

“From the moment we dropped off Scorch, Chuck was friendly and welcoming. Communication throughout was excellent, with regular updates that gave us peace of mind while we were away. We felt confident leaving Scorch in such a clean and secure environment. Scorch came home happy and well taken care of, which really says it all. We'll definitely be using Chuck's services again!”

“Kelly is so caring and took amazing care of our Toby. She was super responsive and flexible with us as we had a family emergency at the drop-off time and horrible traffic at the return time. I would strongly recommend Kelly to other dog owners that want a loving, caring home for boarding or daycare.”

“Dina is a great conversationalist and big hearted woman. She is kind and sweet and it’s obvious she loves animals. Her two little pups are absolutely adorable and helped my pup blossom. I was hoping for a boarding care where my dog could open up more to other dogs, and this stay didn’t disappoint. I look forward to bringing my dog back to her again.”

“Melodie took excellent care of our Doberman while on a weeks vacation. Gave updates and photos' Communication was excellent also. We definitely will use Melodie again.”

“Leanna was amazing with my little boy Achilles. Daily updates and pictures even a video to show how happy he was. I would definitely recommend Leanna for home boarding. Thank you, Merleana H.”

“When we picked up Sadie, she was running around with the other dogs looking very happy. Sherrie is definitely our new dog sitter. Thank you for taking good care of my puppy.”

“We are so happy to find someone like Claudia. There were special services needed for our Greta. Claudia was very helpful and made sure that Greta received two insulin injections daily. We are so thankful for all she did for our Greta.”

“Sean and his family took care of Jasper well and I was glad to receive photo updates of Jasper as well. I would not hesitate to use Sean again for dogboarding. Thank you Sean”

“Marie took such great care of Stitch! Very communicative, drop off and pick up were easy. Also super understanding and accommodating. Stitch had a comfortable room to stay at and loved the pictures and updates. Highly recommend and we will rebook again in the future! :)”

“Sierra & Jason L. were life savers! We had to leave town for a family emergency and needed someone to take care of our 16 year old dog, Sasha for several days. They responded quickly to our boarding request and we’re happy to keep her longer when we asked. We received updates with pics everyday which was great! Sasha was well cared for and even made a few new friends. We will definitely reach out to Sierra & Jason L. whenever we need to board Sasha.”

“Lilly was so good with our fur baby!! We met beforehand and Jax just walked right into her home and was immediately comfortable, rolling over for belly rubs. Jax takes a bit to warm up to people so this was very reassuring. She sent us regular updates with pics which was great. Most importantly, when we picked him up he was happy and calm - there have been times where I've picked him up from other places and he was so stressed out it broke my heart - not this time!! I would definitely recommend Lilly to anyone looking for someone to care for their babies!!”

“Myron and his wife Pat did a great job caring for Skye’s stay. I received several pictures of her and many updates while I was away. This was Skye’s first time away from home and she did just fine. She appeared to have made good friends with Myron and fit in just fine ?”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs all my life! Currently have two dogs, a horse, and a donkey. I work in the pet care industry and have worked with trainers, veterinarians, and groomers. I work Sunday through Thursday but am always home by 3pm on workdays and can come home for lunch breaks to tend to your pets. I live in a very quiet neighborhood with lots of trails and places to walk nearby. I only sit for on client at a time so that it’s a low stress environment.
“Nick and Veronica were amazing. We left our dog in their care and not even for a minute we were worried about our dog. We kept getting updates and pics throughout the day about his food, activities etc. They showered so much love that he was missing them after coming home. We appreciate Nick and Veronica for giving him safe space and environment and a lovely home with such warmth. I recommend everyone to book them and I would keep rebooking them for our dog. Thank you so much for keeping our Rio like your own.”

“Kimberly was fantastic! Our four month old doodle loved her, her home, and backyard. She was kind and easy to communicate with and sent pictures and videos of our puppy’s fun day. I highly recommend using Kimberly. I know we will definitely use her again.”

“We picked up our guy today after being gone for 8 days. First time leaving him anywhere so we were nervous. Chris and Julia were amazing. They were so nice and made us feel comfortable. They sent us daily updates and we could see he was enjoying himself and getting along with their dog. We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing he was in good hands. They’ll definitely be our go to sitters in the future.”

“Mitch, his wife, and his pup Shelby were amazing! I felt very comfortable leaving Tuna with them. I think she had a little mini vacation. Lots of walks and playing. I got lots of photos and messages from Mitch. Two things Mitch does that not many others do: 1. Mitch let my dog sleep in their bed. 2. Mitch only takes 1 dog at a time. I felt comfortable knowing that my dog would not be around any not so nice dogs. I would highly recommend Mitch. I would not hesitate to use him again. My dog came home happy and healthy.”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
