“Kathleen and Steven were the perfect fur baby substitute parents. I loved all the pictures and felt so confident about this decision. Both my husband and I will highly recommend Kathleen and Steve to all our friends and family. What a great experience! Couldn't be more grateful! Sincerely Terri and Brian, PS Bailey is missing you both very much.”

“We arranged to have a "Meet & Greet," prior to an overnight boarding for our furry son "Murray." As everyone already knows, our furry friends are our family and want the very best for them! Mitch was a previous "Pet Store Owner." which we found as additionally helpful to sit with our doggie. Both Mitch and his wife Margaret are very friendly and outgoing... and we also wanted to meet their dog "Shelby," who is a sweetheart. Their home is clean and organized with a very welcoming patio/backyard which is fenced in, with some sun and shade provided by trees and bushes. Murray stayed for an overnight and we could tell he had a good time by how tired he was when he came home. Mitch took Murray for a 40" walk and sent a few photos with comments. We'd absolutely use Mitch again and recommend them to mind your furry family member!”

“Celynda is a wonderful caregiver for Daisy, giving her so much love and attention. Daisy comes home happy and refreshed. I highly recommend Celynda and will use her again and again.”

“Kelly is an amazing sitter! My dog Dumpling immediately felt right at home with her and her family. She is considerate and attentive and I felt secure during our vacation knowing that Dumpling was cared for and loved. My dog is a cuddlebug and she had the opportunity to cuddle to her heart’s content. ❤️ I will definitely book with Kelly again!”

“First time I ever used Rover and first time I ever left my dog with a stranger. Rae was extremely kind and loving to my dog. She sent me text messages and pictures that I very much appreciated. My doggie was very well taken care of from Rae. She kept her safe and followed the instructions I reviewed with her. I would recommend Rae and will use her again.”

“Our poor Bella was diagnosed with cancer just prior to our trip. Myron and Patricia were angels, trying to get her to eat and giving her lots of love while we're away. We know the end is near but were able to enjoy our time, knowing Uncle Myron and Aunt Pat were taking care of our baby girl.”

“Kara & Chris took great care of our sheltie, Nani. They sent pictures of our smiling dog relaxing at her new retreat. We are very happy and will contact them again for our next trip.”

“Kimberly was fantastic! Our four month old doodle loved her, her home, and backyard. She was kind and easy to communicate with and sent pictures and videos of our puppy’s fun day. I highly recommend using Kimberly. I know we will definitely use her again.”

“If I could give Isabel 10 stars I would. She is a great sitter. She has such a kind heart, is very empathetic, and provides the royal treatment. You can see she sincerely cares about our Mello. Not only is she good with him, but she is also easy to do business with. I would trust Mello with her anytime.”

“Sam had such a great time at Melodie's house! She sent me pictures and videos of him having a blast while I was gone. He was so happy and wore out when I picked him up! Drop off and pick up was super easy and communication was excellent. Would definitely book Melodie again next time!”

About: I have had all types of dogs welcome in my home , I adore them and we have fun. I currently have a little one of my own.We can bathe ,walk, cuddle or clip ...stay one night or a month , on a very short notice. All stay overs have a separate eating area, schedule varies. I walk the dogs 2 or 5 times a week, depending. We have dog beds all over the house , or they can grab a recliner with us . I have a fenced grass yard , and a relaxing porch . We have a doggie door where they can come and go as they please , but we also let them out several times a day.
“As always, Nick and Veronica take the best care of our girl, Sadie! They manage her medication and other high needs and their family is so kind to give her extra love! She is in paradise at their home. We appreciate their communication as well.”

“Sierra and Jason have watched our boy twice for an entire week, and are incredible to work with. We get constant pictures of our fur baby having a blast which makes us so happy! 10/10 recommend, we will always pick them if available!”

“Xavier was very friendly and responsive. He made the booking process very easy even though it was all super last minute. The accommodations were great and my dogs were very well taken care of and had a lot of fun! I was worried they wouldn’t want to come home. I’ll definitely be booking with him again!”

“From the moment we dropped off Scorch, Chuck was friendly and welcoming. Communication throughout was excellent, with regular updates that gave us peace of mind while we were away. We felt confident leaving Scorch in such a clean and secure environment. Scorch came home happy and well taken care of, which really says it all. We'll definitely be using Chuck's services again!”

“Michele was absolutely the best and took such great care of our two small pups while we were away on our wedding trip! She sent thoughtful updates every day, which gave us so much peace of mind, and made sure they were happy, comfortable, and well-loved the entire time. It was clear they were in great hands from start to finish. We’re so grateful for her and would absolutely trust her again in the future!”

“Benjamin was great with my weenie dog. Holmes had a fun time and I got lots of cute pictures and video updates. He really went above and beyond to make sure Holmes felt comfortable and was safe. This was my first time using rover and I’ll be using him as my sitter from here on out. Thank you so much!”
“I had an overall amazing experience with Lori. She took my boy in last minute for a ten day trip, and her rates were reasonable even for such a long time. She sent me pictures of Cash almost daily and alerted me immediately when he started feeling sick. I trust her with my dog and you should too. Thank you!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Youngtown
Carolyn was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Yoda. She was incredibly patient with him and cared for him as if he were her own. It was clear that she genuinely loves animals and goes the extra mile to make sure they are comfortable, happy, and well cared for. One of the things I appreciated most was how often Carolyn sent pictures and updates. Seeing Yoda happy and relaxed gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We are so grateful for the exceptional care she provided, and I would highly recommend Carolyn to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and reliable pet sitter. We will definitely be using her again!

Luna had an absolutely wonderful stay with her Lori! Luna is a 5½-year-old German Shepherd, and it’s not always easy to find someone you can completely trust with a large breed dog, but my experience was fantastic. I received lots of photos and updates throughout her stay, which gave me great peace of mind and showed just how much fun Luna was having. It was clear she was well cared for, comfortable, and treated like part of the family. When I picked her up, she was happy, relaxed, and clearly had a great time. I highly recommend Lori to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and attentive. We will definitely be booking again!

Susan was the absolute best for our pups! Our female can take a while to warm up to strangers and Susan understood and then she loved Susan by the end of the weekend. She communicated and updated us often over the weekend which we love. Would absolutely book her again.

Jennifer was amazing with my 2 pups. She was prompt when replying to the potential last minute booking as my family could not assist with care during this trip. She was fabulous at sending update photos of their activities. They were truly safe with her and they showed it upon my return. Tilly knew it was time to go home and made her way over giving Jenn a hug and kiss goodbye, her way of saying thank you and I love you! Impeccable care and love given during my time away. Jenn is gold!

Tammy was very responsive and helpful as I looked for a temporary home for my aunt's dog. Pearl obviously felt very comfortable with Tammy and Lola which showed in the several photos that were shared. I would arrange a stay with Tammy again. She provides a friendly home away from home.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
