“I was nervous at first since it was my first time leaving my dog in the care of someone else. Savanah kept me updated with messages, pictures, and videos throughout my vacation without having to ask! My dog can be iffy with other people but she quickly won him over. Im glad I found someone my dog and I can trust. I will definitely book again and highly recommend!”

“Xavier took great care of our dog, Hudson! Hudson is blind, so we really appreciate someone who is comfortable caring for him. He was happy and doing great when we picked him up, which is what matters most to us. We’ll definitely be booking with Xavier again!”

“I could not have asked for a better family to look over my puppy! Brooke was very kind, scheduled a meet and greet with our dogs to make sure it was a good match and kept me updated at all times. They were very attentive, caring, and kind and I would highly recommend her! Hoping to book again.”

“Rachel took care of our 2 King Charles cavaliers, and if our dogs could talk, they’d say they had a WONDERFUL time haha. I know this because she sent me so many pictures of them snuggling and happy! It made being away from the bareable. Thank you again Rachel, we will send our fluff balls to you again soon!”

“Gina and her family made me feel at ease leaving my dog Chubbs in their care. I received many updates and pictures of how much fun Chubbs was having. I made me happy to see Chubbs having such a good time. Chubbs is an English bulldog and need extra attention with daily cleaning of his face folds or he will get an infection. Gina did a wonderful job keeping Chubbs’ face clean dry.”

“Kimberly was amazing! She welcomed us into her home at drop off and was so patient with this anxious pet mama. Marty had a great time and we got lots of pictures and updates. Would definitely recommend her to anyone!”

“Justine was absolutely awesome. This was the first time we needed someone to watch Luna that wasn’t part of our family so we were a bit nervous about how she would do. Justine went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable! Walks in the morning, dog park time, frisbee, and even special snacks for her each day. She kept us updated the whole time with pictures and updates and we couldn’t have felt any more comfortable leaving our dog with someone. She made her at home and will treat your pup as part of their family while you are away. Also super flexible with pickup and drop off times plus being a great communicator from start to finish. Will definitely use her again in the future!”

“We really feel safe having Rex with Kimberly and Deanna. They send the cutest updates and pictures while we were away. This was his longest stay and we wouldnt trust anyone else with him . Thank you again .”

"No worries, we'll take care of them." They went out of their way to get Aurora's special dietary kibble. Fabulous, fabulous people. Thank you so very much for taking such good care of my 4 legged family!”

“If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, reliable, and truly loving to watch your pup, look no further than Tiffany! She took exceptional care of Allora from day one, keeping me updated with frequent messages and sweet pictures that made the whole process completely stress-free. It’s so clear how much she genuine cares for animals, and Allora absolutely adored spending time with her. I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter—Tiffany is top-tier, JP, and I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Oh my Gosh Ashley did such a great job!! My dog is very timid and has a herding instinct yet Ashely has 3 big dogs and after a couple of days they all played together. My trainer was very impressed with how well Heidi did after not seeing her for over a week. It was recommended for Heidi to go to Ashley for play dates to keep Heidi social.”

Veronica and Cick were fantastic! From allowing a meet & greet to doing Avery thing they could to make Baldr comfortable and relieve my pure paranoia at being away from my pup. Frequent videos and pictures were great and they were so accommodating to a flexible schedule. I would book again in a heartbeat!

Our fourteen-year-old special needs pup, Bella spent the day with Sonia. We are leading up to leaving Bella for a week with Sonia and decided on small introductions to ease her anxiety. Bella soon warmed up to Sonia & her family. Sonia sent photos & video of Bella during her stay. Thank you Sonia.

We absolutely LOVE our Kelly! 🐾❤️ she and her family take such incredible care of our Willow, and we always have complete peace of mind knowing she’s in the best hands while we’re away. Willow has the BEST time and is always so happy when she’s there! They’re incredibly accommodating, communicative, and always send the cutest pictures and updates, which we look forward to every time! It truly feels like Willow is getting her own little vacation while we’re on ours. We couldn’t ask for anyone better and are so grateful to have found them!

Although since Bandit can't talk I can only observe second hand. I did receive text pictures during his stay with Kimberly and he looked well taken care of. Kimberly is very personable and attentive to Bandit while we were all together. I would leave him with her again if we needed Rover's services.
Leanna & Berlin B. took an excellent care of my dog, Trixie, during my vacation. I was given daily reports and I could see that Trixie was looking happier as time went by. I strongly recomment Leanna & Berlin if you need to have someone take care of your loved one while you are away.
Jenny made me feel at ease right away when I dropped Pearl off with her the first time. And she did send daily pics after I requested them. But the most important observation was that Pearl went with her right away when I handed her the leash instead of trying to run back to me, which doesn’t always happen with other sitters.

This is the 3rd time our dog, Diesel, has stayed with Kaylynn and Giovanni and they are absolutely amazing. Diesel knows when we turn down their street where he’s going and he immediately gets so excited. I have complete peace of mind when I’m away that he’s in good hands. I won’t use anyone else.

Jennifer was amazing with my 2 pups. She was prompt when replying to the potential last minute booking as my family could not assist with care during this trip. She was fabulous at sending update photos of their activities. They were truly safe with her and they showed it upon my return. Tilly knew it was time to go home and made her way over giving Jenn a hug and kiss goodbye, her way of saying thank you and I love you! Impeccable care and love given during my time away. Jenn is gold!

Aileen answered right away and was on my way to work with the most and best reviews. She is super nice and sent pictures everyday. Also very flexible as I forgot the kennels and I didn’t have time to run home for mine so I just went and bought new ones. It all worked out great! Thanks again

Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
95% of sitters in Bumstead can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Bumstead.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
