“Kelly and her family are extremely friendly. My dog, Daisy got a long so well with them! Throughout my pet's stay she was committed to keeping me updated on the well being of Daisy. I would definitey consider taking Daisy for another visit!”

“I don't think I could have found a more entertaining place for Guido to spend his day. I'm just sad that they're almost an hour's drive for me, or I would continue using them. I think Guido is actually disappointed to leave.”

“Kim was positively wonderful with our 2 small dogs. She was so warm & accommodating to their needs & provided videos, pics & feedback throughout the day. They had a great time with her & they were so happy at pick up. The yard is safe & fenced in, & they had easy access to the backyard. They were well taken care of & we’ll definitely be using her again.”
“I really enjoy spending the afternoon at Miss Claudia’s! She has a really nice backyard for running around. She treated me so nice & gave me kisses. I like her dog Bentley too, we talked about what our favorite treats are. Thank you for taking good care of me! Can’t wait to come back. I will recommend her to all my good buddies!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Christina did wonderful with my 3 month old puppy Lily! Lily was able to socialize with other dogs which helped us out tremendously. I would definitely trust her to take care of my puppy any time.”

About: Hey, I’m Kylea! I am a lifelong animal lover with many years of experience caring for all different types of animals! I have cared for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities. I’ve cared for everything from playful puppies and high-energy dogs to senior pets- shy or anxious animals, and pets who need extra patience, structure, or attention. Not only do I care for dogs and cats, but I have experience with bunnies, turtles, hamsters, and all sorts of animals! Animals truly bring me so much joy which is why I wanted to start doing Rover! To help others when they need a safe and loving place to have their animal cared for while away from home. I enjoy taking my dogs to the dog park and on walks although I spend a lot of the day playing at my house as I have a nice big backyard that’s a perfect play place for the dogs! I’m experienced with following detailed feeding schedules, administering basic medications, handling special diets, providing frequent potty breaks, walks, exercise, playtime, and maintaining each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I’m also comfortable caring for multiple pets at once while still making sure each animal receives individual attention and care. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I know how important our pets are—they’re family. That’s why I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away, knowing your pet(s) is receiving the best care possible. I can’t wait to meet you and your amazing pet(s) and give them a fun, loving home away from home! 🐾💕 I am a stay at home, homeschooling mom, therefore I am home basically all day everyday- other than the typical errand runs, Sunday morning church, and sports for my kids. Caring for animals is a hobby of mine and I am so excited to care for yours! Animals bring me so much joy and happiness so yours will be so loved. If I happen to leave while your dog is in my care, it will be kept inside my home in a large, gated area (no kennels), and never left outside. I have tons of space in my home so dogs that are not “related” will be kept in separate areas while I am away. Your pets are my top priority and your request is highly respected for the care of them! During the AZ summer, dogs will remain inside for the majority of the day but will still get tons of attention and playtime because in my home- we play ball in the house! :) Your dog(s) will have frequent potty breaks and tons of playtime outside when the weather isn’t extremely hot to prevent your pet(s) from being overheated. The animals I care for in my home are treated with tons of love and care, and become a part of my family right away! I have a double fenced yard and tons of space for your pet to play. Artificial grass, a doggie pool for those dogs who love to play in water, tons of toys, an outdoor cooler with pump, & misters and fans (though dogs will never be left outside for a long period of time). Dogs are kept inside for the majority of the day. I also have kids who love and adore the animals too and they love spending time with the animals and playing with them so your sweet pets will get extra spoiled with love! As for cats- I understand they are a bit more afraid at first, therefore will keep them separated in their own, quiet space with their own litter box, food, water, and accessories/toys until they seem to feel comfortable with me and in my home. Then I will introduce the cat(s) slowly to the other cats and the to rest of the home.
“Miranda was wonderful with Meeko and took such great care of him while I was away. She was kind, communicative, and shared the cutest photos. I was so happy to hear that Meeko got along well with the other dogs, especially another dachshund! It sounded like he had such a fun and comfortable stay. I’d absolutely trust Miranda with Meeko again and highly recommend her.”

“Kristal took great care of our dog Auggie and was absolutely wonderful! She was communicative, friendly, and made us feel at ease right away. Auggie seemed happy and comfortable with her. Highly recommend!”

“Gina, her family, and her pups were amazing! My pup had so much fun for the two full-days of daycare. Gina was very responsive, flexible, and sent cute photo updates. Her backyard is perfect for playing, and provides a lot of shade for hot days. If/when we come back to the area and I need someone to watch Scout, I’ll be sure to ask this family first!”

“Our older dog enjoyed his day at Jessica’s. We are new to the area & we we’re nervous leaving Rhino with someone unfamiliar to him. He made himself right at home & we could not have asked for better care. Definitely booking another date”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. I absolutely love animals especially dogs. I’ve trained all my personal dogs with basic commands. Let’s talk I’m currently retired and spend all day at home in the house and in my yard. My dogs go outside every hour for potty and play every hour unless I’m gone. I take my girls out first thing in the morning I walk out behind garage near orchard to let them go potty. They eat and then play and go back outside with me only as I don’t have fenced yard and want to be sure they go out back. They are placed in crate when I am not home for their safety and typically sleep there during the night or in bed with me. They go outside every hour to potty and run.
About: I have had all types of dogs welcome in my home , I adore them and we have fun. I currently have a little one of my own.We can bathe ,walk, cuddle or clip ...stay one night or a month , on a very short notice. All stay overs have a separate eating area, schedule varies. I walk the dogs 2 or 5 times a week, depending. We have dog beds all over the house , or they can grab a recliner with us . I have a fenced grass yard , and a relaxing porch . We have a doggie door where they can come and go as they please , but we also let them out several times a day.

Thank you! Our little dog loved it there and was happy both upon arriving and leaving and arriving for her second day too. We found Leanna and Berlin to be very kind and accommodating on the hours. We highly recommend them and would be happy to be repeat customers. Thank you again!!
Sophia was AMAZING! She was so attentive, caring and responsive when taking care of Brooklyn. She had her own space in Sophia’s home, and I was sent plenty of photos throughout my dog’s stay. This was a super smooth experience for Brooklyn and I. I’ve had some mixed experiences here on Rover but Sophia is one of the best sitters I’ve had. I will definitely be using Sophia again. Thank you again!

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
