About: I have had all types of dogs welcome in my home , I adore them and we have fun. I currently have a little one of my own.We can bathe ,walk, cuddle or clip ...stay one night or a month , on a very short notice. All stay overs have a separate eating area, schedule varies. I walk the dogs 2 or 5 times a week, depending. We have dog beds all over the house , or they can grab a recliner with us . I have a fenced grass yard , and a relaxing porch . We have a doggie door where they can come and go as they please , but we also let them out several times a day.
“Brittany and her husband were fabulous! Jack loved staying with them for two days! They helped watch him while we were watching a golf tournament on the course they live on. We were a bit worried our Jack wouldn’t behave for them but he behaved much better than he does with us! My wife and I are convinced they are both Dog Whisperers! They were so good to Jack and I can tell he enjoyed being with them. They even sent us fabulous pictures of our Jack with the perfect AZ sunset in the background. 5 star rating and then some for sure!”

I enjoy taking my dogs to the dog park and on walks although I spend a lot of the day playing at my house as I have a nice big backyard that’s a perfect play place for the dogs! I’m experienced with following detailed feeding schedules, administering basic medications, handling special diets, providing frequent potty breaks, walks, exercise, playtime, and maintaining each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I’m also comfortable caring for multiple pets at once while still making sure each animal receives individual attention and care. If I happen to leave while your dog is in my care, it will be kept inside my home in a large, gated area (no kennels), and never left outside. I have tons of space in my home so dogs that are not “related” will be kept in separate areas while I am away. Your pets are my top priority and your request is highly respected for the care of them! During the AZ summer, dogs will remain inside for the majority of the day but will still get tons of attention and playtime because in my home- we play ball in the house! :) Your dog(s) will have frequent potty breaks and tons of playtime outside when the weather isn’t extremely hot to prevent your pet(s) from being overheated. The animals I care for in my home are treated with tons of love and care, and become a part of my family right away! I have a double fenced yard and tons of space for your pet to play. Artificial grass, a doggie pool for those dogs who love to play in water, tons of toys, an outdoor cooler with pump, & misters and fans (though dogs will never be left outside for a long period of time). Dogs are kept inside for the majority of the day. I also have kids who love and adore the animals too and they love spending time with the animals and playing with them so your sweet pets will get extra spoiled with love! As for cats- I understand they are a bit more afraid at first, therefore will keep them separated in their own, quiet space with their own litter box, food, water, and accessories/toys until they seem to feel comfortable with me and in my home. Then I will introduce the cat(s) slowly to the other cats and the to rest of the home.

“We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Kathy set up a meet and greet the day before we were to leave our dog, Abbie, for daycare the next day. She was thorough in explaining how she set up her home for dogs, she was professional in knowledge of dogs' needs and was open about all aspects of our dog's stay. She greeted Abbie at the door and right away Abbie felt comfortable with her. By the second day Abbie was running up to her front door to greet Kathy. Kathy sent several pictures of Abbie to us while we were away and kept us updated as to how she was doing. We felt very comfortable with Kathy caring for our dog. Lamb Chop gave kisses and wags of approval, and was tired but not overly so for his elderly joints. He was able to rest and relax while mommy and daddy were, too. Lori was prompt and communicated clearly, remembered everything, and Lamby was clearly well looked after. He’s got a lot of allergy and skin related needs, so it’s always nice to find someone who’s conscious of what care that entails - no pun intended!
Sophia was AMAZING! She was so attentive, caring and responsive when taking care of Brooklyn. She had her own space in Sophia’s home, and I was sent plenty of photos throughout my dog’s stay. This was a super smooth experience for Brooklyn and I. I’ve had some mixed experiences here on Rover but Sophia is one of the best sitters I’ve had. I will definitely be using Sophia again.
