“From the moment we dropped off Scorch, Chuck was friendly and welcoming. Communication throughout was excellent, with regular updates that gave us peace of mind while we were away. We felt confident leaving Scorch in such a clean and secure environment. Scorch came home happy and well taken care of, which really says it all. We'll definitely be using Chuck's services again!”
“Dina is a great conversationalist and big hearted woman. She is kind and sweet and it’s obvious she loves animals. Her two little pups are absolutely adorable and helped my pup blossom. I was hoping for a boarding care where my dog could open up more to other dogs, and this stay didn’t disappoint. I look forward to bringing my dog back to her again.”
“Danna & Brooke are the best sitters in all of AZ! I am so bummed that I found them so late since I had to move. They sent great pictures and Augusta always came home tired!”
“Again special Thank you you both Mitchell & Ash for taken Tequila at the last minute and for the updates on his stay, I will see you again this time 2 weeks in advance.”

“Kim and Deanna are truly amazing. They took such good care of our fur babies when we went on vacation for a week. They would send daily photo or video updates at the perfect time, as I missed our dogs and was so glad to see how happy they were. I would 100% be rebooking in the future. Oh and the icing on the cake was they made a photo collage of the pups and printed them out for us as a keepsake. You ladies are amazing. Thank you!”
“Ana was absolutely amazing with Potato. We were a little nervous after our original sitter canceled, but honestly, it ended up being a blessing because Ana took such great care of her. She spoiled Potato, kept us updated, and made us feel completely comfortable while we were away. You can tell she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches and treats them like her own. We came home very happy with the care Potato received and would absolutely trust Ana with her again. Highly recommend her!”
“If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, reliable, and truly loving to watch your pup, look no further than Tiffany! She took exceptional care of Allora from day one, keeping me updated with frequent messages and sweet pictures that made the whole process completely stress-free. It’s so clear how much she genuine cares for animals, and Allora absolutely adored spending time with her. I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter—Tiffany is top-tier, JP, and I will definitely be booking with her again!”
“Lindsy was awesome with our dogs and they definitely enjoyed their time spent at her home! She was very thorough from the moment i initially messaged her. Upon bringing our dogs to her home she showed us around a bit and asked various questions about them and just provided us with expectations of her caring for them. She was great and i definitely highly recommend her to anyone!”
“Justine was absolutely awesome. This was the first time we needed someone to watch Luna that wasn’t part of our family so we were a bit nervous about how she would do. Justine went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable! Walks in the morning, dog park time, frisbee, and even special snacks for her each day. She kept us updated the whole time with pictures and updates and we couldn’t have felt any more comfortable leaving our dog with someone. She made her at home and will treat your pup as part of their family while you are away. Also super flexible with pickup and drop off times plus being a great communicator from start to finish. Will definitely use her again in the future!”
“Tricia and her husband did a great job! Sent several pictures throughout my dog’s stay! Super responsive and responsible. We will definitely use them again! Thank you for making Remy’s stay a good one.”
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Luke Air Force Base
Dawn and her family were absolutely wonderful to Noodle. He was so well cared for and had so much fun. I had an emergency sitter situation and she kindly rose to the occasion. Pictures and comments were sent regularly, so we felt at ease. I absolutely recommend Dawn! If Noodle could talk I am sure he would request to go back for daily visits!
Family affair! Danna, Brooke, their sons and two dogs took great care of Kai! They taught him how to use a doggie door leading in/out to their very large, fenced yard - plenty of room to run and play. Great communication from Danna while we were away. We'll be a repeat customer! Thanks!!
Aileen answered right away and was on my way to work with the most and best reviews. She is super nice and sent pictures everyday. Also very flexible as I forgot the kennels and I didn’t have time to run home for mine so I just went and bought new ones. It all worked out great! Thanks again

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Luke Air Force Base home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Luke Air Force Base.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Luke Air Force Base sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
