I have a fenced yard where I let the pets I house roam around/use the bathroom. I have a one story house where the pets are allowed to go anywhere they choose. At client's home, I make sure that the pet is always comfortable with where I am at in the house, and am very patient with boundaries, and building trust with the pets.
