“We are so grateful I found Michele to petsit our golden doodle Chella on Rover. She was so nice and caring with our dog. Michelle had no problem with my special requests to feed Chella her Raw frozen beef formula which is a bit more work than kibble. And to be understanding about her anxiety and over excitability. She quickly came up with ideas of how to accommodate our dog’s particular needs. So helpful! Our dog loved Michele’s big backyard, especially drinking from the creek water feature! We had to cancel and reschedule our trip start date due to bad weather, then extend few days and she was able to accommodate our schedule changes. I would highly recommend Michele due to her flexibility, kindness and willingness to take our large dog despite normally only petsitting small dogs. Her and her family gave Chella much love this past week. We will definitely book with her again!”

About: No matter who I'm with or where I am, I stop and say hello to every dog I meet (after confirming with their owner it's ok to pet them). I I love cats too. I'm recently retired. I have two rescue dogs (Woody and Ricky Rooney). Helping someone else with their pet will make me happy since I can't adopt any more dogs right now. I have a completely walled in backyard that my dogs are out in frequently. If I'm taking care of your dog or cat at your home, I will be respectful and make sure they have plenty of water and food and go out to do their business regularly.
“Lorena is amazing! She really came through in a pinch and we got so lucky to find her! She took care of our little maltipoo like she was her own dog. Tessa LOVED her doggy vacation! Thank you!”
“Dina consistently takes good care of my girls. I love knowing that I could leave them with someone that I can trust and who takes such great care of them. Thank you Dina”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs all my life! Currently have two dogs, a horse, and a donkey. I work in the pet care industry and have worked with trainers, veterinarians, and groomers. I work Sunday through Thursday but am always home by 3pm on workdays and can come home for lunch breaks to tend to your pets. I live in a very quiet neighborhood with lots of trails and places to walk nearby. I only sit for on client at a time so that it’s a low stress environment.
“From the moment we dropped off Scorch, Chuck was friendly and welcoming. Communication throughout was excellent, with regular updates that gave us peace of mind while we were away. We felt confident leaving Scorch in such a clean and secure environment. Scorch came home happy and well taken care of, which really says it all. We'll definitely be using Chuck's services again!”

“We are so happy to find someone like Claudia. There were special services needed for our Greta. Claudia was very helpful and made sure that Greta received two insulin injections daily. We are so thankful for all she did for our Greta.”

“Sarah did a great job watching my little dog who can have an “attitude”! This was the first time he stayed with a sitter. When I dropped him off he was sad but when I picked him up he loved us all! I would definitely use Sarah again.”

“Our doggos loved their stay with Megha and Pranav! Their dog Mimi is adorable and played our high energy cattle dog all day, while our greyhound lab mix chilled out. Megha responds promptly to messages, updated us with pictures and videos, and was super accommodating. Our dogs will love going back, thank you Megha!!!!!!”

“Mandy and her family are just the sweetest. They were extremely accommodating and very patient with Rosie. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing Rosie was in good hands. I would not hesitate to book with Mandy again.”

About: Hi there, fur mom/dad! We’re a dog-loving couple who have had dogs our entire lives and truly understand how important it is to find a safe, loving home away from home for your pup. We currently have a friendly Maltipoo who is a cherished member of our family. Both of us work from home, which means we have flexible schedules and can provide plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. Our home features a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time. We do not have a doggy door, so your dog will never be left to go outside unsupervised. We closely monitor all outdoor activities to ensure their safety and comfort. We’re also fortunate to have several walkable parks near our home, providing great opportunities for exercise, playtime, and exploring new sights and smells. Most importantly, we treat every dog as if they were our own. Your pup will receive lots of love, affection, and care, and we’ll do our best to make them feel comfortable, secure, and right at home during their stay with us. Pet care is a natural part of our daily routine. Since we both work from home, we have flexible schedules that allow us to provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Caring for dogs is something we genuinely enjoy and prioritize every day. We have a fenced yard and a Maltipoo to keep your dog company. Since we work from home, pets receive plenty of attention and supervision throughout their stay.

“Clare was absolutely wonderful to our pup, Aspen. Kept me updated with pictures daily and info about how her day went. Aspen definitely seemed to love her! Will definitely bring our pup to her again.”

About: I was a dog/cat groomer for years! I am good with small dogs to giant breeds. No pets or kids of my own at home. Im currently working very part-time, have no pets of my own right now and have lots of love to give yours! I also live alone with no children either so over night visits in my home are most welcome! Also, I do not smoke so you can be assured your pet/home will smell as fresh as when you left. I do not have a fenced in yard but live in a subdivision that makes walking your pets easy. Im very familiar and comfortable with crate trained dogs as well as dogs used to using pee pads. If I come to your home I would follow all directions to the tee to make sure your fur baby sticks to their usual routine so they are comfortable and less stressed during your absence.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
