“We are so grateful I found Michele to petsit our golden doodle Chella on Rover. She was so nice and caring with our dog. Michelle had no problem with my special requests to feed Chella her Raw frozen beef formula which is a bit more work than kibble. And to be understanding about her anxiety and over excitability. She quickly came up with ideas of how to accommodate our dog’s particular needs. So helpful! Our dog loved Michele’s big backyard, especially drinking from the creek water feature! We had to cancel and reschedule our trip start date due to bad weather, then extend few days and she was able to accommodate our schedule changes. I would highly recommend Michele due to her flexibility, kindness and willingness to take our large dog despite normally only petsitting small dogs. Her and her family gave Chella much love this past week. We will definitely book with her again!”

About: No matter who I'm with or where I am, I stop and say hello to every dog I meet (after confirming with their owner it's ok to pet them). I I love cats too. I'm recently retired. I have two rescue dogs (Woody and Ricky Rooney). Helping someone else with their pet will make me happy since I can't adopt any more dogs right now. I have a completely walled in backyard that my dogs are out in frequently. If I'm taking care of your dog or cat at your home, I will be respectful and make sure they have plenty of water and food and go out to do their business regularly.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs all my life! Currently have two dogs, a horse, and a donkey. I work in the pet care industry and have worked with trainers, veterinarians, and groomers. I work Sunday through Thursday but am always home by 3pm on workdays and can come home for lunch breaks to tend to your pets. I live in a very quiet neighborhood with lots of trails and places to walk nearby. I only sit for on client at a time so that it’s a low stress environment.

Im currently working very part-time, have no pets of my own right now and have lots of love to give yours! I also live alone with no children either so over night visits in my home are most welcome! Also, I do not smoke so you can be assured your pet/home will smell as fresh as when you left. I do not have a fenced in yard but live in a subdivision that makes walking your pets easy. Im very familiar and comfortable with crate trained dogs as well as dogs used to using pee pads. If I come to your home I would follow all directions to the tee to make sure your fur baby sticks to their usual routine so they are comfortable and less stressed during your absence.

She has a calm, steady presence that they really responded to—even our most shy cat, who usually hides from new people, came out during meals, which says a lot. She was also a great communicator—anytime she needed to step out, she kept me informed, although it was rare. I really appreciated how present she was in the home overall. She took great care of Kiki, including handling her urinary accidents with patience and consistency, which gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was away. About: Have taken care of animals most of my life. I usually babysit/check on animals and let them out for our neighbors dogs before we moved from Indiana to Wickenburg. I have worked for the Air Force as an animal caretaker, and feel in love with caretaking. I graduated from Washington State University where I majored in Animal Science and Spanish. I currently have two rescue dogs, Xena and Loki five cats (Carli, Sammi, Sweetie, Calico & Pete) I've been pet sitting for 25 years, and can provide references. My sons and I volunteered for years at our local animal sanctuary, we took care of the kitties, walked dogs, cleaned kennels, and I also helped administer medications. I firmly believe that a tired pup is a happy pup, so getting a good walk or play time each day is very important, as well as lots of cuddles and treats. Same with kitties, they need playtime as well as lap time too. I am very flexible and will do my best to accommodate your needs and those of your furry family members. My goal is to make your pets happy and you as well. I pride myself on being reliable and trustworthy. I have a flexible schedule and most times am available for one time drop in visits or longer term pet care. Drop ins only, I can't accommodate overnights at this time. I also do dog walks in your neighborhood or local park. I don't go to dog parks, for your dog's safety. I am available most weekends and holidays as well. I come to your home and care for your fur babies in the comfort of their own familiar surroundings. I feel it lessens the anxiety a bit for them to be in their own home. While I don't do overnights, I will come multiple times daily while you are away, to check on, feed, medicate, walk and play with your pets. I also water plants, check mail, and will do a security check of the property if requested.

About: Ever since I can remember i’ve been surrounded by dogs. They have always been a huge part of my everyday life and I couldn’t imagine it any other way. My parents have always done an amazing job teaching me how to properly care, bathe, feed, walk and more with every dog i’ve had. I feel a strong responsibility when it comes to animals. I come from a family that owns 5 giant Great Danes, and I personally have 2 beautiful dogs of my own. I have a 5 year old Shepard named Dexter, and a 8 week old Great Dane puppy named Baloo. My dogs are the center of my life, and I treat them as I would my own children. (i’m convinced I birthed my pups myself) With that being said, I have a decent amount of experience for a 22 year old. I would treat any dog as I treat my very own pups. This is something I’m extremely passionate about and being able to meet new dogs and spend time with them seems like a dream to me. If I could have 100 dogs I would, but my boyfriend won’t let me. I have a very flexible schedule, I usually work mornings 4-5 days a week. I work at a Golf Course so those mornings can be as early as 5:30 and as late as 10:30. My usual shift lasts any where from 4-8 hours long. I take the care of my own animals very seriously and i would be the same for yours! I take my dogs on at least one walk a day, and I bring them along to any dog friendly places.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs all my life! Currently have two dogs, a horse, and a donkey. I work in the pet care industry and have worked with trainers, veterinarians, and groomers. I work Sunday through Thursday but am always home by 3pm on workdays and can come home for lunch breaks to tend to your pets. About: I was a dog/cat groomer for years! I am good with small dogs to giant breeds. No pets or kids of my own at home. Im currently working very part-time, have no pets of my own right now and have lots of love to give yours! I also live alone with no children either so over night visits in my home are most welcome! Also, I do not smoke so you can be assured your pet/home will smell as fresh as when you left. I do not have a fenced in yard but live in a subdivision that makes walking your pets easy. Im very familiar and comfortable with crate trained dogs as well as dogs used to using pee pads. If I come to your home I would follow all directions to the tee to make sure your fur baby sticks to their usual routine so they are comfortable and less stressed during your absence.

“A++++++++ SERVICE!!! All I can say is WOW! Out of my entire experience, (years using Rover), Apryl is by far the BEST CARETAKER I found!! From the beginnning, her effective communication and kindness is something that was very apparent. I drove all the way from Denver just to board up my energy ball of a dog with Apryl. Once I arrived and saw the space, Apryl basically has an all inclusive resort for any type of animal. Her backyard is huge and all her animals are extremely welcoming and kind. Both her and her spouse gave the most attentive, fun care for my dog. I couldn't thank this lady enough. When I picked up my dog, it was the first time when Koa did NOT want to leave. She just stood by the front door, 'Hi Mom, this is my home!" ... and wasn't in a hurry to get into my car. That reaction from dog basically summed up everything. Apryl is the only caretaker that actually gave me daily updates - something I rarely get from caretakers - photos and even almost like a journal entry which I really appreciated. THANK YOU SO MUCH APRYL. You are honestly a dog whisperer /or should I say animal whisperer. I will definitely be using Apryl again”
