“Jane did a wonderful job taking care of our sweet little Chloe bunny! She was present at the agreed times, thorough with cleaning and feeding care, and overall very pleasant to work with! We will book with Jane again!!”
“My cats absolutely loved Jaylah! It was great to know they were excited to see her during each visit, so much so that my usual anxious cat was super comfy around her! Super communicative, accommodating, and knew exactly how to approach my cats. Definitely will book again in the future! (:”

“Cassandra is super friendly and is extremely patient with our shy/anxious dog. She went above and beyond to connect with him on his terms. Looking forward to working with her in the future!”

“Cheerio loved Alexandra’s drop-in visits! As a first-timer on Rover, Alexandra’s experience with pet care and Rover made the whole process seem-less and worry free. Very happy with Alexandra’s pet care and the Rover experience. Will book again in the future. 👍🏼”

“Maria is just an amazing human. She made me feel so comfortable while I was on my vacation. Every time she visited my cat she sent me pics and made me feel at ease. If I could give Maria 1 million stars I would. I can’t thank you enough.”

“Daisy is an excellent care taker and I am so happy to have found her. She always goes above and beyond to make sure my kitty is taken care of. I trust her completely and never have to worry when I leave my kitty with her because I know he’s in good hands. Thank you daisy!”

“Heather was absolutely amazing with my two dogs, Winston and Jack. From the start, she was professional, friendly, and made me feel completely comfortable leaving them in her care. She kept me updated with pictures and messages, which really gave me peace of mind while I was away. Winston and Jack both looked happy, relaxed, and very well cared for when I got back. It was obvious Heather spent quality time with them and treated them like her own dogs. She paid attention to their routines, made sure they got plenty of care and attention, and went above and beyond to make them comfortable. I would definitely book with Heather again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to watch their pets.”
“I was worried about using Rover for the first time and having a stranger in my house while I was not there but Emily was everything I could have hoped for! She was very nice, quick to respond, on time, sent me pictures on every visit, and went above and beyond. 10 out of 10 stars for Emily. Thank you Emily for your professionalism and taking care of Ivy!”

Jaylah is wonderful! I highly recommend her. Within 15 minutes during our meet and greet my one dog, who is shy and will bark and hide was already over by her wanting the same attention all her siblings were getting. Same for my one cat who is very much a cat would typically hide, came strutting right out, asking for pets and treats. <3

We had Allyson do a drop in when we took a day trip to Phoenix. She had stayed with our pets for a long weekend, so we were perfectly comfortable that all would go well. And it did. She’s a great communicator and really cares about our animals. Highly recommend her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cashion. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
