“Jane is amazing with our dogs! We took a long trip and were not worried about home because we knew our dogs were being well cared for. Jane provided great pictures and updates on our dogs and we could see they were having a great time. This is our second booking with Jane and we plan to use her for all of our trips.”
“Very satisfied as she took the time to come meet my animals before services were needed. She was very friendly and very personable, and the communication was amazing. I will definitely be choosing her again.”

“Daisy P is a GREAT pet sitter!! She was very punctual, thorough, and responsible. Plus, the dogs LOVE her. She interacted with them and played fetch with them - they loved her visit. They had only met her once before, and they were very excited to see her again. We are definitely going to be requesting her frequently.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was about 10 years old when I got my first puppy. I’ve learned how to bathe and properly take care of dogs as well as give them the best playtime! I love taking walks with them or doing anything to keep the furbabies properly maintained and loved! I’m also well trained with senior dogs and puppies as far as administering medications to helping them use the bathroom I’m currently working a full time job while I’m in school so my schedule is the same everyday with me working 8:30 am-4 pm and my days off are Wednesday and Sunday. Im available on the weekdays in the afternoon and any time on my days off! I am very well trained with dogs and leashes I have very good control over the pet especially out in public. I can read a dogs body language very well to tell when they are uncomfortable, need extra love or even some extra space. I am trained with cpr and I have experience administering medications
“Sarah was communicative with us and caring for our shy kitty. She kept her well fed and safe during our travels. She was always on time and always gave me peace that our furry family member was in good hands. It is an incredible blessing to have animal lovers in our home when we are away. I couldn’t have asked for better care!”

“I was worried about using Rover for the first time and having a stranger in my house while I was not there but Emily was everything I could have hoped for! She was very nice, quick to respond, on time, sent me pictures on every visit, and went above and beyond. 10 out of 10 stars for Emily. Thank you Emily for your professionalism and taking care of Ivy!”

“Danielle took fantastic care of our pups! She was extremely flexible regarding a last-minute drop-in booking, and sent us plenty of updates (and adorable photos) during her visits. Would absolutely recommend her services.”

“Pei-Wen is such an amazing sitter! She followed all my directions perfectly— and exceeded them too!! She was so loving towards my kitty and sent lots of photos every single day. You can tell she genuinely loves animals 💓 Also cleaned up his area and took the litter out!!! Will definitely book her again when needed!”

“Christy went above and beyond while caring for our German Shepherd. From the beginning, it was clear that Nani was in loving and attentive hands. Christy made sure she was fed on schedule, kept her area clean by consistently picking up after her, and even took the time to brush her so she stayed comfortable and well cared for. What stood out the most was the genuine affection and attention Christy gave her. Nani can be particular about people, but she quickly became comfortable and happy around her, which says a lot. We received updates that gave us peace of mind and could tell she was getting plenty of love, patience, and care while we were away. It’s obvious Christy truly went above and beyond to make Nani feel safe and loved. I would absolutely trust her with Nani again and highly recommend Christy to anyone looking for a dependable, kind, and thoughtful sitter.”
“My cats absolutely loved Jaylah! It was great to know they were excited to see her during each visit, so much so that my usual anxious cat was super comfy around her! Super communicative, accommodating, and knew exactly how to approach my cats. Definitely will book again in the future! (:”

“Christina did such a wonderful job of taking care of my boys! From detailed updates with adorable pictures to professional, courteous communication, she exceeded my expectations! I really appreciate her willingness to accommodate us into her schedule on short notice while still performing her visit with my boys superbly!”

About: I grew up with dogs both big and small but have the most experience caring for smaller dogs, including bathing, medication providing, feeding, walking, playing, and treat giving!! I work as a full-time medical Speech-Language Pathologist M-F, so I am available almost all weekend days or evenings, and holidays, to care for your pets! I am happy to take your dogs (or cats!) on walks or complete drop-ins, including feeding, administering medications, playing, brushing, providing bathroom breaks, cleaning litter boxes, or whatever else your pet wants or needs :)
About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life and treat them like my children and i would treat your's with the same care. I have also worked in law enforcement in various other industries were trust is key. I'm currently working multiple part-time jobs but I am very flexible with my schedule. I'm looking to do more pet sitting depending upon how many clients or if I have a steady client. My pets have their own backyard that's fenced and blocked in. My dogs also use a doggie door and because I am home so often I get to spend a lot of time with them. My animals are also taken to the vet frequently for checkups and our administered medication such as flea and tick and other prescriptions. Also, I was a police officer in Phoenix for 6 years and have worked in management for a fortune 50 company where trust and integrity are paramount so you can be assured that your pet will be safe and happy in my care.

We loved having Jaylah check on our cat, Sophie! Communication was great when Sophie had some stomach upset and Jaylah sent detailed updates everyday, along with tons of photos. We were able to enjoy our time away knowing Sophie was well taken care of. We’ll definitely book with Jaylah again!

We had Allyson do a drop in when we took a day trip to Phoenix. She had stayed with our pets for a long weekend, so we were perfectly comfortable that all would go well. And it did. She’s a great communicator and really cares about our animals. Highly recommend her!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cashion. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
