“Kailyn did a great job house sitting. Phoebe’s eating schedule was followed, and Kailyn stayed in consistent communication with me. Thank you Kailyn, I came home to a happy dog🤗 Will definitely use Kailyn again in the future.”

“Cassandra was amazing! After a bad experience with another pet sitter several years ago, we were worried about trusting our pets with a stranger. Cassandra made two visits to our house to get to know everyone and really put my mind at ease. We have four dogs and two cats with a long list of needs from different foods to medication, and Cassandra handled all of it so well. She sent pictures and texted almost every day of our trip, and we knew our pets were in the best hands possible. She stayed in our home, and it was spotless when we returned. We will always choose her in the future, and highly recommend you do, too.”

About: I am a huge pet lover and have a passion for making animals feel safe and loved! I have a 3 year old husky myself named Woofey and she is my pride and joy. I am able to take care of multiple breeds ranging in sizes and ages and have experience in dogs from Chihuahuas, bulldogs, pitbulls, and golden retrievers. I’m extremely reliable and responsible, making sure that your dog feels comfortable in my care without them feeling anxious. I will stick to a strict schedule that you give me and am experienced with dogs with medical conditions who need special care at all times. I currently work part-time and my schedule is free for the summer! During my free time I would love to spend it taking care of animals that need special care and attention. I love to stay active and dog walks are my go to! I personally like to keep the dogs inside if the house due to the heat, and for that I have a spacious living room and dining room for your dog to relax in. Unless you want them to be in a crate I allow dogs to sleep in my room with me in order to make sure they are safe at all times. In regards to using the restroom and excercise unless specified otherwise I like to walk your dog 3-4 times a day depending on their energy. I like to keep to a schedule, so dogs who need to be kept on one are my specialty.

Let me know what you need and we can figure out a schedule for drop ins. Happy to follow your instructions exactly. I will always make sure the perimeter is safe and secure. Daisy is really good with my dog Mollie. And Mollie definitely likes her. She is very thorough in following my instructions and remembers small details. She spends some good quality time with her. This was her second sitting and I will definitely use her again.

Michelle was amazing and took excellent, patient care of our boys. She was prompt and very communicative before and during the stay, letting us know how the dogs were adjusting to their first ever dog sitter. She checked in with us regularly and even sent a photo of the boys relaxing. Michelle totally put our minds at ease knowing our babies were in very good hands. We already have booked Michelle for a longer stay in a few months. I cannot recommend Michelle enough.

Tamaya was great with our anxious dog! We booked her for 2 weeks overnight at our home while on vacation and she quickly eased our worries about leaving our dog for such a long time due to her separation anxiety. During the stay, she sent plenty of pictures and she kept us updated on any changes. She followed the instructions perfectly and even started watering the plants when I asked a couple days into my trip. We came back to a clean home and a happy dog☺️ We will definitely rebook her in the future!

My dogs loved Alexandra. I could tell how happy they were when we got home and in their interactions with her. She was responsive, communicative and we felt so comfortable with her in our home. Murray and Livie can't wait for her to come back and stay with them!

Yvette is an amazing dog sitter!! She is reliable, caring, and attentive. Our pups were so well cared for, loved, and happy while we were away. We received updates, photos, and complete peace of mind the entire time. Highly recommend and will definitely book again!

Lexuz came a day or two early to get the key and final instructions. She was on time at the time requested for the booking. There was always communication and photos for nightly updates. When we arrived home the house was neat and clean and the pets were happy and healthy. Would definitely book again.

Fantastic experience! Great communication, personable, consistent updates, and lots of cute pictures of the dogs having fun and relaxing! The backyard looked great and both dogs were very well cared for! Anyone who owns a frenchie, knows a frenchie’s life, and our little one was clean and happy! It was our first time leaving the dogs overnight with someone other than family - We truly appreciate the care Kathleen gave them and will definitely book with her again!! We recommend her hands down!!

Ben was amazing! He was super responsive and kept me updated at all times. In addition, he was extremely flexible in accommodating some last minute changes to the booking. Lastly, he went above and beyond and offered to take out the trash given I was out on vacation. My dog was super happy and I seen on my backyard camera how excited he would get to go outside and play. Even getting sent pictures I was amazed and how well Ben was able to capture pics given my dog doesn’t even let me take pictures that good. Will definitely rebook and highly recommended for anyone who is looking for someone reliable and trustworthy.

Cinda did a great job watching our dogs. They seemed very comfortable with her, and she communicated well with daily pics and videos. She also really came through by staying a few extra hours when our flight was delayed multiple times. We’re grateful for her flexibility and care

Mason was amazing! I was so nervous about leaving Maui with a sitter. He usually stays with my parents or a close friend but no one was available for Labor Day weekend. Mason made me feel at peace while we were away. He provided updates and pictures and Maui settled in just fine even though he can be shy at times. Would definitely recommend Mason and I will definitely keep him in mind for next time 😊

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Cashion on Rover is $53.28 per night (as of June 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Cashion walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Cashion maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Cashion choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cashion. On Rover:
- 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
