“So grateful Dani came by when she did. She alerted me to a change in Cooper’s appearance and I was able to come home earlier than expected and get Cooper treated for a reaction to a bee sting. We are lucky to be able to use Dani’s services and appreciate her thoroughness and attention to detail with our boys! Thanks Dani!”

“I couldn't be more pleased with the care and attention Tamara provided Laddie my nice but barky kinda shy Sheltie. About: *IMPORTANT SUMMER INFO* I do not walk dogs when temps are over 95 during the day. I will walk up to 100 degrees when the sun is not out (early morning or after sunset). Walks will change to drop-ins (no change in price) if temps exceed this. We are a dog loving family and welcome small to medium size dogs for doggy daycare. Pam is available for dog walking and drop-ins on weekdays. For daycare, we have 3 resident dogs who will welcome your pooch to the pack, so yours should be good with other dogs. Our backyard is fully fenced, with a pool that your pup can cool off in. **The dogs are fully supervised any time they have access to the pool.** Pam works solely from home and Joe works in ministry just two miles away. Our schedules allow us to show your fur baby a great time and all the love and attention it will need while you are away for the day. Please let us know if you have any questions about your pup's needs. We look forward to welcoming them to our pack! ~Pam & Joe Why I love dog sitting I grew up with cats but fell in love with dogs when I got my first one, Maggie, in my twenties. Maggie was a Sheltie and was my companion through a lot of life's ups and downs. In 2010, I adopted Snickers & Itty Bitty, a malkie and care-tzu. Maggie, Snickers and Itty Bitty all lived to 15 years old, but we would have loved many more years with them. We now have Toby, a small mixed breed who is 10, Lucky, a Maltipoo, who was rehomed to us, and Ginger, a cavapoo princess who we were blessed to find through a rescue. About my yard Our backyard is fully fenced and landscaped. We have a pool and your dog is welcome to swim, or cool off on the baja step, if they like. We have a grass side yard that is a designated potty area for the pups. Pam works part-time from home and Joe works just 2 miles away. While Pam is home working, our 3 resident fur babies are never far away, sometimes even sleeping on her lap or desk. We have a gate that keeps dogs from accessing the front door. Our front door and back doors both have security screens, so if we open the door they can't run out. Our back yard is fully fenced and double fenced on the one side that opens to the front yard/street.
“Savannah is amazing! I had her feed and check in on my cats for about 5 days while I was out of town. She did great and her updates kept me at ease while I was away. She even went above and beyond to clean up an unexpected mess. I could easily tell my cats warmed up to her which told me they had no issues with her either. Looking forward to hiring Savannah again next time I’m away!”

About: I have taken care of dogs in my home and professionally at a daycare/boarding facility. I am an RN and comfortable with meds and first aid. I will treat your dog like my family! I am currently working on starting my own business taking dogs on excursions to keep cool while playing with other dogs. I love dogs and find great satisfaction taking care of them in the home or outdoors. I will strive to maintain the regular routine for your dog. I help them feel comfortable by doing the same things you would do for them. Meal time, bedtime, walking, pottying, etc. all tend to have a routine, and I will keep that routine while pouring out affection to your dog as if they were my own.
“Annabella was awesome! She came into my home to check on my dog Bear and handled everything perfectly, even though it was her first time meeting him and being in my house. Bear can be a little unsure at first, but he warmed up to her quickly which says a lot. She was super friendly, easy to communicate with, and made the whole process feel really comfortable. I really appreciated the update and the photo she sent too. I’d definitely trust her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and great with their pet!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember, and my lifelong love for pets is what sets me apart! I have experience with dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to giant breeds, and with dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs. In addition to pet sitting for family and friends, I have volunteered with both the Humane Society and AZ Guinea Pigs, giving me experience caring for dogs, cats, and small animals. I believe that the bond between pets and their owners is built on genuine love, trust, and loyalty, and I strive to provide that same love and care when looking after other’s pets. I bond quickly with animals and love spending time with them, whether that means going on walks, playing, cuddling, or simply keeping them company. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their real favorites are away! As a recent high school graduate, I have plenty of free time to devote to caring for your pets while you’re away or busy! I am available on both weekdays and weekends, with the greatest flexibility in the evenings. However, I am also available for morning visits and am happy to work with owners to accommodate their pets’ schedules and needs whenever possible :) Your pets safety and comfort are my top priorities. I understand that every pet has unique needs, routines, and personalities, so I always take the time to follow care instructions carefully and ensure pets feel comfortable and secure in my care. I believe in maintaining a calm, positive, and loving environment while providing plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship. I also value clear communication and am happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
“First time using Rover with Mindy chosen for stop in visits for our two dogs. Went great, complete piece of mind about leaving our dogs and house open to Mindy. Mindy communicated via Rover emails a long with multiple photos of our pups with each visit. Thank you Mindy and appreciate you.”

“Krysten was an excellent cat sitter! She was always on time and very flexible. I had to make adjustments to her schedule due to medication issues with my cat and she was very accommodating. I came home and found that my girls were very well cared for. I appreciate Krysten for watching them and I would definitely book her again!”

Im so grateful to Issy taking care of my babies. I have a regular babysitter who is gone for the summer and am always nervous to trust someone new but she honestly exceeded my expectations and I just booked her again for next month. The thorough updates she provides really puts me at ease and I was surprised that even my most timid kitty warmed up to her immediately. 🩷

I left my cats for the first time for nine days and was quite worried. Savannah went over and above when taking care of them. She sent pictures and updates every day. I came back to very happy cats – – I’m sure they will miss her. If you ever need an animal assistant sitter, Savannah is the one to call. Thank you so much!

Sage was a wonderful pet sitter to my cat. It was for a few checkins over a 1.5 week timeframe and she showed up on time reliably for every check in. She went above and beyond taking care of my cat including litter box cleaning and verifying he had plenty of food and water. The cat gets lonely if we're gone for too long so she was able to provide him great company. Definitely recommend!

Sophia went WAY above and beyond what we asked of her with no questions asked. We were honestly expecting to return to a horrifically dirty house because of our 4 animals after a week! We returned to an almost spotless house with many countermeasures put in place to prevent our animals from destroying everything! Thanks Sophia!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
