About: My family has owned dogs and cats for my entire life. Since as early as I remember I've helped care for, watch, feed, play with, and walk dogs and cats. Within the last few years, I started officially dog sitting. And within the last year I began cat sitting. I'm never away from home for more than 5 hours at a time, typically only 2 or 3 on weekdays and 5 on weekends. (please note that my preferred name is Layla) I'm a full time student, but my classes are online. I also work part time, but I will never be gone for more than 5 hours at a time. Typically during the weekdays I'm only gone 2-3 hours if any. I am always attentive and careful with any animal. I am more than willing to go on multiple walks and play with your pets to help them burn off energy. I also enjoy playing mind stimulating games with pets, especially dogs. For example, I will hide treats around the house and then send the dog to "hunt" for them.

We were honestly pretty nervous about using a dog sitter for the first time, especially since our house was a bit of a disaster before our weekend trip to Universal Studios. From the moment we met her, though, she made us feel completely comfortable and never made us feel judged or awkward about anything. She was absolutely amazing with our dogs — patient, caring, attentive, and clearly someone who truly loves animals. We got updates while we were away, and it was obvious our dogs were happy, relaxed, and very well cared for. By the end of the weekend, they absolutely adored her! Diego stayed at our house and took care of our 2 dogs for about a week and a half. Our dogs loved him! And he provided us regular pictures and updates everyday which we really appreciate.
