“I cleaned house before we left and was thrilled to come home to a spotless house and a HAPPY dog!! Chuck sent us pictures and or videos every day and Harper was smiling and content every time!! We had a rather complicated food recipe that Chuck had to follow and he did so like an experienced line cook lol. He is extremely organized- taking notes at the meet and greet and then again right before we left, asking questions and making us feel sooo comfortable leaving our sweet dog in his care! He was sooo friendly and accommodating and his wife is lovely too. 😊 I would HIGHLY recommend anyone to use him for their pet sitting because we didn’t at any time feel uncomfortable or worried about our dog or home and that in itself helps to make a vacation wonderful!! Bonus for us is that we have the nicest new friends and Harper does too!!! Harper says thank you, too!!! 🩷”

About: I’ve always had a dog since I was a little kid. And I make sure to give time and care to my current dog, Zelda. A border collie-poodle mix. Whether it was taking her on walks or keeping her company during the fireworks, I’m there to give her all my love. And I promise to make sure the needs of your dog are met, too. (However, I will not accept last-minute bookings. Bookings must be made two weeks in advance). I’m currently a college student, but I have most of my classes online. Which means I’m usually in the house, at my dog’s side. So you can expect the same. Weekends work best for me, but overall, my schedule is pretty flexible. I have a small yard, but there’s a little park area in front of my neighborhood that I can take your dog to if they want to feel the grass beneath their paws. My backyard is fenced, and my dog is more than friendly and welcoming. She gets along with others very well. And of course, I have a crate if that is preferred.

I'm very comfortable dealing with anxious and excited doggos and have no problem taking time to build a relationship with each one. I am currently unemployed so I am able to care for pets at all times of the day and stay overnight to keep then company. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their usual routine, and any instructions provided for pets needing medication. I also spend additional time bonding with them and letting them get used to me being around even if that means keeping my distance until they work up to me.
