About: I have had a pet most of my life. I have had one bird, four cats and now my third dog. I have also sat for friend’s dogs, cats, rabbits and birds. I love doing it and very watchful and careful, I am retired and have one dog. I do healing work, including animals, but is on my own schedule so I am flexible. I wish I had more room, but I don’t. Although I do not usually sit for dogs in my home, I do have a small walled in patio and have used it when my dog’s “best friend” comes for a visit. I am flexible but can’t always work ever day.I will try to work with clients to the best of my ability. I will always let people ahead of time if I am going out of town or have a conflict. I will be dropping in on your “fur children” when needed and adhere to your instructions with an extra “helping” of love. About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and have experience with all types of breeds, sizes, and personalities. My parents currently have a Pit Bull and a Labrador back home in the Valley, so I’m very comfortable caring for energetic, strong, and playful dogs. I’m an active person who enjoys spending time with dogs beyond just the basics. Whether it’s going for walks, playing fetch, visiting the dog park, or simply giving them plenty of attention, I make sure they get both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I also enjoy reinforcing basic training, especially with puppies. I can help with potty training, reducing unwanted biting, and practicing simple commands like sit and roll over using positive reinforcement and consistency. As a full-time college student, I have a consistent class schedule with mornings and afternoons open on different days, giving me flexibility for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight care. I usually start my day at the gym before my 8:00 AM class,or whenever it best fits my schedule, so I’m already up and active early. When I’m not in class, I enjoy spending time outdoors, making it easy to give dogs the exercise, playtime, and attention they deserve. I do ask for about a week’s notice for cancellations or major schedule changes whenever possible so I can coordinate my school and personal schedule. We rebooked Jean for a quick weekend trip and she was wonderful again! I did not have the time to prep the house quite as much before this trip and but she did not seem to mind. Our pup can get some anxiety when we are gone but Jean is so loving and attentive with him we know he’s in good hands.

We couldn't have asked for a better pet and house sitter! She stayed in our home for two weeks while caring for our dog, Kona, and gave us complete peace of mind the entire time. She sent constant photo updates, which made being away so much easier, and it was obvious from every picture how happy and well cared for Kona was. She truly went above and beyond. Not only did she make sure Kona was well-fed and even picked up more food for him when he needed it, but she also took wonderful care of his skin (bulldogs can be difficult!) and overall well-being. Kalin manages our household of furry friends which now includes an older paralyzed bunny, a cat with challenging behavioral issues, multiple animals on several medicines throughout the day, and also a cat who had just recently undergone a dental procedure and is on a specific diet. Everyone is completely calm and relaxed when we come back home and it's obvious that the animals trust her completely. We have total confidence in her and it's a great peace of mind knowing she's there to keep everyone safe when we're out of town.
Vanessa was so great with my three dogs…she made sure that their feeding and medication schedule was followed, she took extra care with my one dog who was timid and afraid, and she left my house as clean as it was before my trip. I will definitely be contacting her again for our next trip!
Sydney watched our male pitbull Jax while we were away at a wedding. Initially, we had a miscommunication about the schedule but Sydney remedied the situation and everything went smoothly after it was figured out. She was communicative and gave nice updates with pictures. She left our house clean and also took out the trash.
