Both of my cats ended up cuddling with her and absolutely loving her. And they don’t cuddle just anyone!! She sent a good amount of detailed updates with adorable photos of my cats. She even went out of her way to wash her own bedsheets and towels and she took out the trash without me even asking her to do that! “We had Marianne house sit and take care of our 2 large dogs, a chihuahua and our 2 cats for about 10 days. She also watered our garden and plants, took in our mail and signed for deliveries for our home business. We had not left our animals with anyone in 5 years and they are our "kids". Our female was a little hesitant to make friends with her (We expected that might be an issue since she is not a "friendly" dog.) but within a day or so she was letting Marianne give her belly rubs and nudging her hand for attention. This all put our minds at ease. She also gave our chihuahua eye medication twice daily and sent us pics of everyone settling in daily. We were concerned about our cats accepting her and the new routine but they settled in very quickly with her. We are glad to find Maranne and will be using here again for another trip in October.”

I always make sure pets are well-fed, have plenty of water, get their daily walks or playtime, and enjoy some extra love and enrichment along the way. I also have five years of experience working in a grooming environment, where I got to know all kinds of dog breeds and personalities — from the shy and gentle to the playful and energetic. Your pets will be treated like family — I can’t wait to meet them! I currently work Monday through Friday, but I’m available for pet care in the mornings, evenings, and most weekends. I love animals and have several of my own, so spending extra time caring for other pets fits perfectly into my routine — I’d love to spread the love and make more furry friends! I have three loving cats who have plenty of space to play, stretch, and burn off energy. They have two separate litter box areas and get both dry and wet food twice a day. I always make sure their water bowls are cleaned and filled daily, and they get plenty of love, attention, and enrichment throughout the day. About: Hi! I’m Marissa 🐾 Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. My grandpa bred German Shepherds, Boxers, and Bulldogs, so I grew up learning how to care for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’ve had Rottweilers, Boxers, and now my sweet (yet sassy) German Shepherd, Stella Rose. She’s 7 years old but still acts like a playful puppy! Stella is currently living with my dad as of last year while I started college again, so I miss having a dog around every day. Doing Rover helps fill that spot in my heart. I’ve also lived with small dogs as well. I fostered my friend’s Chihuahua for about a year and a half, and my cousin’s poodle-terrier mix used to live with us too, so whether your dog is big, tiny, or somewhere in between, I know how to make them feel safe and loved. I love house sitting the most because I get to really bond with your dog and make them feel secure while you’re away. Whether your pup wants to run and play or curl up and relax, I adjust to their personality. Shy or anxious? I’ll give them extra patience, sweet talk, and love. You can always expect plenty of photo updates, potty breaks, playtime, brushing if needed, and any meds or extra care. I’m also happy to water plants or bring in packages to keep your home tidy and secure. I do Rover for extra income while I’m in college, but honestly it’s about spending time with dogs, especially while I’m away from mine, giving them the same love and care I’d want for my own Stella girl. Your dog will always be safe, loved, and given all the care, playtime, and cuddles they deserve while you’re away. 🤍🐾 I currently work part-time Tuesday–Saturday from 7 AM–1 PM, with a few evening commitments during the week. I’m typically free all day Mondays and may be available for a Sunday afternoon drop-in after church. I’m not available Sunday mornings. Because I have plenty of time in the afternoons and evenings during the week, I’m flexible for house sitting, drop-ins, or playtime after work. I’m happy to work with your schedule to make sure your pup is loved and cared for when you need it most! Your house is your pet’s safe place, and I promise to treat it with care and respect, always following your house rules and routines. I personally let my own dog on my bed or couch, but I fully respect your preferences. If you’d rather keep your furniture fur free, I’ll make sure your dog follows the same rules you have in place. If your pup is allowed on the furniture, you can bet they’ll get plenty of cuddles and cozy hangouts with me! I’ll feed your dog(s) exactly as instructed, keep their water fresh, and if there’s no doggy door, I’ll make sure they get plenty of potty breaks and time to stretch their legs outside. I know how important it is to feel connected while you’re away, so I’ll keep you updated with lots of pictures and messages, so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, happy, and loved. I’m here to make your time away stress free, for both you and your fur baby!
