“Our senior mutt, Roxie (11.5yrs) went to Will’s for the first time for daycare while we were moving. Walked right in when Michelle greeted her. The place is so well kept. When we picked her up, she was happy & content. We will definitely be taking her back here again. Thank you for the photos, also!”

“Charinee was fantastic caretaker of our puppies, while we were visiting the area. Pups had fun playing with Stacie too. Highly recommend the service!!”

“David is actually the original Dog Whisperer or he was a dog in a previous life! He shows so much love to each pet in his care. He teaches while he cares for them. Thank you David!”

About: Hi, we’re Zach and Maddie! We are true dog lovers! We both grew up with dogs our whole lives and have cared for many others through friends, family, and other clients. That means we’re comfortable with a wide variety of breeds, sizes, ages, personalities, and of course, their favorite scratch spots. We genuinely love being around dogs and miss having them in our daily lives—which is the reason we started Rover! Since we both live together and work from home, your dog gets double the care, attention, and supervision throughout the day—basically 2-for-1 pet care! This also means your dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone during their stay. We live in a spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bath home with a backyard in Scottsdale 85251. We provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, cuddles, and care based on your dog’s routine. We’re reliable, communicative, and always send photos and updates. We’ll treat your pet like our own and make sure they feel right at home! :) We both work from home, so at any given time there’s almost always at least one of us home. Your dog will get plenty of attention and will rarely, if ever, be left alone! All dogs are welcome to hang out wherever they like—whether that’s on the couch, sleeping with us in bed, or anywhere else they feel comfortable! We also have a spacious fenced backyard with a grass area. We keep our home nice and cool, especially during the summer, so you never have to worry about your dog overheating.
“We were so pleased to find Krista to watch our boy, Sedona. She took excellent care of him and kept us consistently updated during their time together. Her communication—before, during, and after—was outstanding and gave us great peace of mind. We would highly recommend her and look forward to connecting with her again when we’re back in the area.”

“Shahla is awesome. She looked after our 8-month French bulldog puppy for the very first time, and everything went very well. She shared photos with us and clearly knows how to treat dogs. She has the knowkedge and experience, and our dog had a great time at her house with her dogs. We are very much looking forward using her service again.”

“Remi (dog) has stayed with Jenifer three times now and we fully trust her family to give him a safe and fun environment. I really appreciate the photos and videos Jenifer sends - my Remi is always having a blast!”

“Danielle and Kyle were so accommodating to my hectic day and change of plans. My dog has a lot of energy and they seemed to handle her just fine. My pupster was clearly worn out as she went straight to bed once we got home. That’s exactly what I’m looking for when it comes to a sitter and a day experience for her, somewhere where she will have another awesome dog to play with, kind (and command following hosts), and just an overall loving and welcome experience. Will definitely use them again! My pup was soooooo happy with her experience and so was I!”
About: ***LOOKING TO TAKE ON NEW CLIENTS*** I love caring for dogs and have years of experience including dog walking, overnight stays, and much more! I’m good at understanding dog’s behaviors, triggers, and catering to their needs. I have a work from home job that allows me a ton of flexibility for mornings, during the day, and evenings to help take care of your pets. Please feel free to reach out with any other questions I do live in an apartment complex so small to midsize would be well suited to stay the night here. I would be more than happy to do a meet and greet so that you feel comfortable with where your pet is staying. Of course I am more than happy to send photos and videos throughout the stay.

About: Hi there! My name is Eden, and dogs have been my whole world for years. 🐾 I’m an experienced trainer who also offers safe, structured, and loving boarding in my home. Because of the setup here, pups do need to be comfortable being in a kennel/crate at times. If your dog isn’t fully kennel trained yet (like a young puppy), that’s totally okay — I just ask that they can go into a kennel without any aggressive behavior so everyone stays safe. While your dog is staying with me, they’ll enjoy: ✨ A little bit of training and structure woven into their routine ✨ Learning manners and practicing calm behavior ✨ Daily enrichment and exercise ✨ Plenty of love, playtime, and cuddles ✨ Daily updates so you know how they’re doing My goal is to make boarding feel less stressful and more like a safe, structured staycation where your dog is cared for like family. I work from home training dogs and doing phone consultations, so I’m home the majority of the day with the pups. The only times I’m briefly away are for church on Sunday mornings (about 9:30–10:30) and the gym on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings for about an hour. During those short times, all dogs are safely kenneled with fresh water, A/C, and cameras for monitoring, so they’re always safe and comfortable. Your dog’s safety and comfort come first. I have a secure fenced yard and kennel space in my house. Dogs staying with me do need to be comfortable being kenneled at times, or at least able to go into a kennel without aggression (puppies still learning are absolutely fine!). While boarding here, dogs enjoy structure, manners practice, daily enrichment, exercise, and lots of love — plus daily updates so you feel at ease while you’re away.
“Hank had a relaxing day with Briana and Sparrow. She has a comfortable house and a huge backyard which he enjoyed exploring. Good communication from Briana.”

“Justin abs his wife were amazing! They made sure our second doggy day care experience was good and sent updates whenever we asked. I would recommend them to anyone in the area.”

About: I’ve had a Yorkie named Cooper since I was young and he currently lives with my parents back in Cleveland. I love dogs so much and I believe you should take care of dogs like you do your kids! I work fully remote, so I will be at home and play with the dogs all day! I will show them love and be able to feed them and take them to the bathroom whenever they need it! I also have a dog park at my apartment and a park in walking distance! I will play or walk the dogs whenever they need it, I love to exercise and move around! They will never not be shown love!

“Pamela takes such good care of my miniature schnauzer puppy! She takes her on walks every morning and has a big backyard for the pups to play in. Pamela is dependable and reliable!”

“Kayla provided our dog, Sophie, with great care and attention. Kayla was very welcoming and informative even before we arrived. Sophie was very happy during her stay and Kayla sent us several pictures and a couple of videos of Sophie. Sophie enjoyed a walk and got along well with Kayla's older dogs. We recommend Kayla and hope we are able to book with her again before our trip to Scottsdale.”

“Marina took great care of our puppy Boston for the day and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was communicative, attentive, and clearly very comfortable around dogs. Boston came home happy, tired, and well cared for — always a great sign. You can tell Marina genuinely enjoys spending time with the dogs she watches and gives them plenty of attention and activity. We really appreciated the peace of mind knowing Boston was in good hands. Would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend Marina to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.”

About: Your dog will be treated like family while staying in our home. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust, and I strive to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment for every dog in my care. One thing that sets my care apart is that I only accept one family's booking at a time. While I may care for multiple dogs from the same household, I do not mix dogs from different families. This allows me to provide more individualized attention, maintain a calm environment, and ensure your dog feels safe and comfortable during their stay. I have experience caring for dogs of different ages, personalities, and needs, including senior dogs and dogs requiring oral or injectable medications. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply a calm place to relax, I tailor their stay to what makes them most comfortable. While we live in an apartment, your dog will receive multiple daily walks, exercise, potty breaks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I enjoy staying active and make sure dogs in my care get the physical activity and enrichment they need. My son and I love spending time with dogs, and Rover has become a wonderful way for us to share that love while helping pet parents feel confident their pets are being cared for. Since we do not currently have pets of our own, visiting dogs receive lots of individualized attention during their stay. I know being away from your dog can be stressful, so I provide regular photo updates and communication throughout their visit. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your dog is safe, happy, and well cared for. Before booking, I always encourage a meet-and-greet so we can make sure we're a great fit for each other. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. Pets in my care receive plenty of attention and are not left alone for extended periods. Dogs receive multiple daily walks and exercise tailored to their age, energy level, and needs. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel connected to your pet while you're away. Because I only accept one family's pets at a time, I am able to focus on providing individualized care and maintaining a calm, comfortable environment for each guest. I only accept one family’s pets at a time, creating a calm, safe environment where each pet receives personalized attention, comfort, and loving care.

“Used Charlie again, Ethan was actually excited when we pulled up to his house and was whining and jumping happily when we walked up the driveway. Seems like Ethan found a new hobby while he was there this time, digging for treasures in the backyard! I'm happy Ethan enjoyed himself again!”
“Alexandra is the best! She’s friendly, communicative and responsive, and super flexible when we had to adjust the pick up time! We could tell Gelato had a great time and felt like home staying with her. We’ll definitely be booking with Alexandra again!”

We were so pleased to find Krista to watch our boy, Sedona. She took excellent care of him and kept us consistently updated during their time together. Her communication—before, during, and after—was outstanding and gave us great peace of mind. We would highly recommend her and look forward to connecting with her again when we’re back in the area.

My husband and I booked Lorinda for day care for our Cairn terrier, Sophie. Sophie can suffer from separation anxiety, but she was very comfortable with Lorinda and really enjoyed her stay. Lorinda was very caring and knowledgeable. We would book with Lorinda again.

Paige is such a wonderful pup host! She was very welcoming, her and Rocky made my pup feel at home while I was at work. She was very communicative about my pup, she took lots of pictures which eased any worries I had about him throughout the day. I hate being away from my dog and knowing he’s is good hands makes it easier.

Lee is a truly amazing dog sitter. Her place is absolutely spotless, but stashed away is a treasure trove of amazing dog toys!! She was so kind to us and the dogs. You can tell she really enjoys all of her clients and getting to know them. And she sent plenty of pictures and updates!!! We felt very confident that the dogs were safe and having a great time. I am so glad we found her to watch our babies.❤️

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Scottsdale commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
