“Nancy is the absolute best! She maintains excellent communication throughout the reservation. She took such great care of my three dogs and was able to get them comfortable with her very quickly. They are very timid rescue dogs, and she had the patience and gentleness to gain their trust. We will definitely be hiring Nancy again!”

“Heather was so great with our lab Cali. Cali is shy with new people and she was very patient with that and very attentive to Cali. She brought us much peace of mind with having her come check on Cali during the day. Definitely would use her again!”

“Trisha took great care of my cat, Mars. She was flexible when I asked her to make extra visits and skip others. She kept her appointments, sometimes stayed overtime, and made sure he was fed and cared for. I can highly recommend her.”

“John was a great sitter! He really cared about our animals so that was a nice relief while we were away. We will definitely trust John again with our pets in the future!”

“Shelby is so sweet and personable and she took great care of my dog Nash who loves to pull on the leash and pee on every bush he sees lol. She is great with communication and sent me multiple pictures which I loved 🥰 Would absolutely recommend her to care for your fur babies!!”

“Heather was fantastic with our finicky cat! He often doesn’t come out for new people but came out and ate for her everyday. We were thrilled with how everything went with Heather”

About: Caring for animals is truly a joy for me. I love spending time with pets of all kinds and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I have over 4 years of experience taking care of both dogs and cats. You can trust that your pets will be safe, loved, and well looked after while in my care. I am currently in between jobs, so my schedule is completely open at this time until further notice. I prefer to take care of pets during the weekdays if possible, but weekends are open as well. I have four cats of my own, so I understand firsthand the love and care pets need every day. For that reason, I prefer caring for pets in their own homes, where they feel most comfortable and secure. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I make sure to follow your pet’s routine and give them the same love and attention I give my own.
About: Hi, I’m Stephanie :) I’ve always loved being around animals, and I feel lucky to spend my time caring for them. My goal as a pet sitter is simple: to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I take the time to get to know each pet’s unique personality so we can build trust and a genuine connection. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, enrichment activities, or simply sitting quietly together, I follow their lead to give them exactly what they need. I’ve trained with the Humane Society to better understand both cat and dog body language, which helps me recognize the little cues that show when a pet wants space, comfort, or extra attention. I can also provide light training, especially with cats. Furthermore, I am pursuing cat & dog CPR/First Aid to give you complete trust that when your pet is with me, they are completely safe in all situations. You can trust that I also make sure your pet has everything they need to feel their best: fresh food and water, clean litter boxes or plenty of outdoor breaks, and plenty of enrichment. And because I know I’m stepping into their safe space, I treat every home with respect and care. At the end of the day, my goal is always the same: for your pets to feel understood, well cared for, and loved until you’re back home. Alongside pet care, I work from home offering virtual meditation and mindfulness practices to my clients. Because of this, I have the flexibility to fit pet sitting and enrichment seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine. Whether you’re traveling or simply want your pets to have a little extra love and attention during the day, I’m available and adaptable to your needs. And quite honestly, spending time with animals is always the highlight of my day. I know that your home is your pet’s safe space, and I treat it with the utmost respect. My approach is always to let the animal take the lead, whether they’re curious, shy, or somewhere in between, so they feel fully comfortable and in control. Building trust is my top priority, and I take the time to ensure every pet knows they are safe, understood, and cared for while you’re away.
“My cats are super anti-social but one of our kitties came up to Sophia for pets almost every day she came by. The first person she’s ever done that for! Sophia was great and I’d definitely recommend her services.”

“Devinnie was so amazing and accommodating! I really appreciated meeting her before I left. She went above and beyond my expectations. I will definitely ask for her again!”

“I was nervous about leaving our little guy nearly 2 weeks for the first time. Riley immediately took to Jessica at our meet and greet, which was great. She followed daily routines helping him to feel as normal as possible. I received pictures and updates on his progress at every visit. I’m so happy we found her and she will definitely be our go to for Riley. Thank you Jessica, you are Amazing!”

“Candace is super nice and great with pups! She did an awesome job checking in on our 11 week old Labradoodle. She did 4 visits for us and we will definitely re-book her the next time we need someone!! Highly recommend her! :)”
“Lauren was great! She sent very detailed notes during her check-ins and made sure to ask me questions during her check-in if something came up. She also brought in a package that had been delivered during one of the scheduled check-ins. Very considerate and caring, 10/10 would recommend! 🤗”

“Kim was fantastic to communicate with. It gave us a peace of mind knowing she has experience with energetic young dogs. Our pup had a great time with her and she gave us consistent check ins and photos. She was flexible, prompt, kind and warm. We highly recommend working with Kim.”

“Avery was great! She was patient with our cat, Wilson , and gave him time and room to get used to someone new in our house. In no time she was sending pictures that showed Wilson was clearly enjoying his time with Avery. Thank you, Avery, for taking such good care of our little buddy!”

Bridget was absolutely amazing with our Bengal, Finley! She truly went above and beyond while we were away. She was always on time, sent detailed updates with lots of photos, and it was so clear how much she genuinely cared about him. Bengals are very social, vocal cats who need a lot of interaction, and Bridget has great experience with breeds like this. She spent extra time playing with Finley, giving him lots of attention and affection, and he absolutely adored her. Knowing he was in such good hands gave us so much peace of mind. We were able to fully enjoy our trip without worrying because we knew he was being so well cared for. We’ll absolutely be booking Bridget again for future trips, and I’m sure Finley can’t wait to see her again. We can’t recommend her highly enough!

We had a great experience with John and would absolutely book with him again. He was incredibly attentive with our cats and clearly took the time to make sure they were comfortable and well cared for while we were away. We really appreciated the thorough daily updates and photos, which gave us peace of mind and let us see how they were doing throughout our trip. It was obvious that he genuinely cared about our pets and paid close attention to their needs. We came home to happy, well-cared-for cats and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, communicative, and caring pet sitter.

Trisha was fantastic! We needed a cat sitter on very short notice due to flooding and construction issues in the bedroom of our apartment, and she was a lifesaver. She provided helpful updates, sent tons of cute photos, and took wonderful care of our cats. We recently moved out of range of our old sitter and have officially found our new favorite. Thank you so much Trisha, we can’t recommend you enough! 💞🐾

Cody was great with Jake! Jake was excited to see me when I got home, but then immediately laid down and relaxed, which tells me Cody did a great job exercising his mind and body. Cody was patient, communicative, and clearly made Jake feel comfortable. Jake loved him, and I’ll definitely be booking Cody for drop-ins again. Thank you, Cody! 😊

Nancy was incredibly attentive to my two kitties' needs. I have one cat who hides around new people and makes it difficult to nurture, hands-on. And one cat that was not feeling well and had a couple of accidents (which is not normal, so we were very worried). She remained in communication during each visit and adjusted needs as we went along to ensure they were eating well and as comfortable as possible while we were away. She is very caring and patient, accommodating, and thorough. She read our care plan instructions and referenced each need each day. I appreciate the time and care she gave to our little ones, and in our home. I would recommend Nancy for anyone who needs a great, caring sitter!

Bri does a great job with our cat! He is usually not very social with strangers, but he warmed up to her almost immediately which I think speaks volumes. She has great communication and I feel comfortable leaving our boy in her care. I would 100% recommend Bri.

Shawna was great…will definitely use her again Lovely thoughtful person (left a light on for me when she knew I was returning vlate)… enthusiastically communicated whenever necessary and was diligent sending photos and video on every visit helping to know Stanley and Izzie were being well cared. I highly recommend Shawna!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Scottsdale. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
