About: My house has always been a home to a wide variety of pets, from dogs and cats to tortoises, bunnies, fish, and hamsters. Growing up surrounded by them means caring for animals has become a natural part of my life, and I developed a deep love for them early on. I am currently working part-time as an intern at ASU, and hours are very flexible, so I can be available to care for your pets whenever needed! I would feed them on schedule and play with them for hours. I would follow the exact instructions given and make sure to give them their medicine on time if necessary.
“Ronnie was great. He came over and met my pups before our visit. Set realistic boundaries and stuck with me to get setup on my garage door opener to get access to my home. The pups did really well with Ronnie and our short trip was wonderful and I was super relaxed knowing Ronnie would be there to watch over my babies.”

I am able to adapt to all pets whether they are energetic, aloof, couch potatoes, or shy, I am here to take care of them all! I love learning about ever individual pets personality and will treat them just like my own! :) A little more about me is I am a current part time college student working towards a degree in nursing. My passion is making a difference in this world! I also currently work for a daycare in the infant room! I have always worked in childcare and I am a very patient and attentive person. :) I currently work part time so I will have time during the mornings and evenings every weekday! I am available for check ins (30 minutes-2 hours) daily and longer visits on the weekends! I will treat your fur babies as my own and make sure they are cared for just like you would normally. I love all animals and love getting to know their individual personalities! I am just getting used to this platform and want to help pet owners have a good experience with me so please consider me as a caregiver for you pets! :)
About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover with 10+ years of pet care experience — and a friendly Golden Retriever sidekick who loves making new doggy friends! I work from home 2 days a week, which means extra time for cuddles, playtime, and walks. I’m experienced with pups who need a little extra care, including those with medical needs like diabetes. Whether your dog needs a walking buddy or a cozy place to stay, I’ve got the love, time, and treats to make their tail wag! Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine! I work from home two days a week, which gives me plenty of time for walks, play breaks, and snuggles throughout the day. On other days, I plan my schedule to ensure your pet gets consistent attention, exercise, and care. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime, I make sure every pup feels loved and well cared for. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. At my home, pups enjoy a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play and plenty of supervised time both inside and out. I can easily crate if needed and always follow your pet’s specific routines and preferences. I'm experienced with dogs of all ages and stages — from curious puppies to wise seniors — and I make sure each one feels secure, loved, and right at home in a calm, structured environment.
“Exceeded all expectations! From the initial meeting, I knew my fellow inmates would receive expert care while I was away. We're all mad here, but we can use apps for that too. Thanks Rover and especially thanks Nicole! 🩶”

About: I grew up having all animals in my life. From my own house having turtles, birds, Guinea pigs,5 dogs and almost 15 cats!(no joke!) my aunt I’m very close with also had a small farm with lots of farm animals that I’ve helped take care of. Again I’m a super big animal lover and have no problem taking care of easy pets or difficult bigger pets like 100+ pound dogs. I also have many references that go back 8 years long I’m currently working part-time in the slower season of my job at U-Haul moving and storage. My work shifts are usually around six hours long 3-4 days a week so I have plenty of free time and availability. I also am able to take a lunch break if needed to go check on or feed your pets while at work! Currently, I am living in an apartment with my mom who is also an animal lover and helps me take care of any animals that I might have staying over but I usually do stick to smaller animals being brought into my home since I do have a cat already. I usually prefer to go to your house or possibly asleep at your house if you’re gone for the weekend so that way I’m able to give nonstop care and attention to the animal. I also am very easy-going and do not require much when staying at your home! As well, I have many references for taking care of animals for taking care of house houses plants and anything in between
“Madison is wonderful, my dogs love her. I feel confident leaving them in her care when needed. She’s reliable and keeps me well informed of my girls activities when I’m away.”

“Kylel was wonderful with our 2 dogs. Very trustworthy and organized. He took time to walk our pups and let them play together. Loved being updated on their times together. Thank you for spending time with our precious pups.”

“Sydney was great at taking care of my bunnies and keeping me updated on their pet care routine daily. I appreciate her thoroughness and she kept attention to details I mentioned about their physiology and behavior”

“I reached out to Jennifer as a last minute booking forbmy cmvacation when my regular pet sitter had an emergency and couldnt watch my place. She was quick to respond and set up a meeting right away. She was very thoughtful and attentive to my cat. I appreciated the updates and photos.”

“Julie did an awesome job with our two dogs while we were out of town. One of my dogs is very standoffish and afraid of new people and she seemed to make her pretty comfortable by the end of our trip! Julie was very communicative, helpful and flexible. I would definitely love to have her watch our dogs again - thanks Julie!”

“Very happy with Vicki as a sitter. Took great care of my kitty and followed all instructions. Visits were on time and responds to messages promptly, will happily rebook next time I’m out of town.”

“Allie was great. She took care of our both cats when we were traveling. Allie was very communicative and caring. Looking forward to working with Allie in the future.”

About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember! From snow days and trampoline adventures with my dog Bear to life with my two loyal Rhodesian Ridgebacks, animals have always been my happy place. These days, our sweet rescue Stella keeps life calm and cozy, and I still find that animals naturally seem to trust and connect with me. I’ve even taken obedience training classes because I genuinely love learning more about dog behavior and communication. I’m comfortable with energetic pups, gentle seniors, big dogs, little dogs, and yes — cats too (even if we can’t have them at home because of allergies). My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into our family’s daily routine. I’m a teacher, so I’m home during summers and school breaks, including two weeks each in fall, winter, and spring. My work schedule when teaching allows me to stop by home during lunch to check in on pets and I’m home by 3:30 PM leaving the evening open for playtime and companionship. Our two boys (13 and 15) also love animals and are learning responsibility by helping care for pets alongside me — giving extra love, playtime, walks, and attention. As a family, we’re able to comfortably provide care in our home or stop by for feedings, walks, check-ins, and play visits throughout the day. During the school year, I’m available before 7:00 AM and after 3:30 PM. I care for pets like they’re part of the family! I love greeting them with excitement, giving them attention, playtime, cuddles, and making sure they feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. I enjoy taking dogs on walks or runs, playing fetch, and honestly love when they get the zoomies and show their personalities. Safety is always a priority. In our home, pets are supervised and can be safely crated or given their own quiet room if needed for rest, comfort, or separation. We have a fully fenced yard for outdoor play and a dog door so pets can move in and out comfortably throughout the day. We do have a pool that is not fenced, so I make sure dogs are monitored outside and will always follow the owner’s instructions regarding outdoor access and supervision. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, my goal is to make them feel safe, happy, exercised, and loved.
“Courtney was a great sitter - she even continued to come back to our home even after our dog had been aggressive & bit her (he was fearful from the monsoon storm and territorial of our new home) so he would be taken care of. She even went above and beyond her job description and helped out our house during the storm flooding - thank you Courtney”

“Markie was dependable and really took time to interact with our cats. They really seemed to like her, which is rare for our little curmeowdgeons. We will definitely ask her to come by the next time we go out of town!”

“Thank you so much for taking car of my boys. They were happy to us when we got home, which normally we get the cold shoulder for at least a day. With them being happy, I know they were well taken care of.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - San Carlos
We were excited to go on vacation knowing that Jessica would be watching our two fur babies. It was great reading her updates each morning we were gone and to know that they were being loved and in good hands. She was reliable and made sure we came back home to a happy house.

Madison has a very gentle nature that my cats were drawn to immediately. I trusted her because she is a vet assistant and has devoted her life to caring for animals. I was called to go on a business trip for 2.5 weeks, and Madison rose to the occasion and hung in there with daily updates and photos to keep me in touch with them while I was gone. The cats were happy and relaxed when I returned home and I am very grateful for her loving care while I was gone.
Kiersten allowed us to fully enjoy our time away from home! She took such good care of my cats and dog, and went the extra mile to make sure that the home was taken care of while we were not here. We feel very lucky to have had her watch our kids, and can’t wait to have them babysit again!

Kelsei was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make sure all of our variety of pets were happy and cared for. She took wonderful pictures of all of them every day that made us smile when we were away. She befriended the shy kitty, the spicy parrot, our lizard, and our other animals. I could tell she learned the personalities of each of them and gave them loving care accordingly. We will definitely book her again if she's available on our next vacation. Highly recommended!
We love Ariel! Every time she takes care of our dog and cat she goes above and beyond. This time our dog got sick and threw up a couple times on our carpet and we came back to it cleaned up and our girl taken care of. We’ll never not leave them with Ariel if she gets have the choice! She’s our go to forever.

So lucky to have found Amanda last minute. My cat is absolutely in love with Amanda and I rebooked with her before her first job was even up. I am so glad to have found her and definitely plan on booking with her in the future. Great communication and lots of pictures! Everything I could have asked for!

This was our second time booking with Lillian, and she was great as always! She sends detailed updates and lots of photos, which really gives us peace of mind while we’re away. It’s clear she genuinely cares about Lumi and takes the time to play with him and make sure he’s doing well. We’re so thankful for her help and would definitely book with her again!

Maria and her son were great at taking care of my dog and cat while I was away. She followed instructions, had great communication, and left my place looking good. When I came home, my pets were calm and seemed to get lots of good attention and care while I was away. Thanks, Maria!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
