About: I grew up with dogs my entire life and have been pet sitting since I was a teenager. I have two dogs of my own who are my children and any pet I care for will be treated as if they’re my own. I have a lot of experience caring for older dogs since my parents dogs lived until they were 16 and 17yo. I have a full-time work from home job that I can do from anywhere as long as you have internet. I do work nights but work every other week. If you don’t mind me working while your pet sleeps I can sit on weeks I work. My job allows me plenty of flexibility to provide the best care for your pet. First and foremost, I care for every pet as if they’re my own. It’s a big deal to leave someone/something you love with another person, not just for you but for your pet. I will adapt to whatever routine your pet is on. However, I don’t do off leash play outside of a fenced yard or walks.

About: I’ve been a true pet lover over the years, from fish to dogs. I’ll be sure to provide your little one with the care and attention they need! I currently WFH, so I am able to take pets out as often as needed to relieve themselves and provide plenty of play time and cuddles I live in a peaceful residential area, my home fenced in, and is smoke-free. I also do not have any pets, so those with anxious little ones are safe here.

About: Hello all! My name is Morgan and I am a certified veterinary technician with a degree in veterinary technology and extensive experience caring for pets of all kinds. With several years of dedicated pet sitting experience, I have developed strong skills in animal handling, behavior observation, and administering basic medical care when needed. Currently, I work at an emergency veterinary facility, where I provide compassionate and skilled support to animals in critical situations. My background ensures that pets under my care receive professional attention, safety, and plenty of love. Pet care is my everyday routine. With my own family pet, I understand the importance of how owners have set schedules and what their goals are for their fur babies. In my household, our family dog gets fed once in the morning and once at night. Always has fresh water and bowls, potty breaks every 4 hours or so, and at least one walk a day. I have watched my neighbors pets in the past and I am very flexible to adapt to any owner requests.

I can’t say enough good things about Marissa. She came over twice before watching my kitty so I felt comfortable. My kitty needed medicine with extra care and Marissa nailed it. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
