“Hannah was great! Friendly, nice, and overall very easy to communicate with. We had no worries leaving our fur baby at home while we went on vacation as he was left in good care with Hannah. Definitely would recommend!”

“AMAZING IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT! Allison was so thorough during our meet and greet to learn my fur child’s preferences, schedules and quirks. My doggie is a rescue who can be very timid with strangers and has never really taken to a care taker, until now. Allison was so patient with her during her check ins and let her warm up at her own speed, and took fantastic care of her. She is very communicative every step of the way, sends lots of pictures, and gave updates on her meals and potty breaks. Within just a couple days my little doglet warmed up and fell in love! I’m so thrilled to have found such an excellent and reliable care taker to look after my child during my work trips! 10000/10 would absolutely recommend 😊”

“This was my first time with Betty and she exceeded my expectations. She was wonderful with my Lucy! Betty is very thoughtful and thorough. I will be rebooking and highly recommend”

About: My house has always been a home to a wide variety of pets, from dogs and cats to tortoises, bunnies, fish, and hamsters. Growing up surrounded by them means caring for animals has become a natural part of my life, and I developed a deep love for them early on. I am currently working part-time as an intern at ASU, and hours are very flexible, so I can be available to care for your pets whenever needed! I would feed them on schedule and play with them for hours. I would follow the exact instructions given and make sure to give them their medicine on time if necessary.
“Kiersten was beyond amazing! This was my first time using Rover and I will definitely be asking for her help again:) Kiersten went out of her way to set up a meet-and-greet with our two dogs before she started dogsitting. She took great care of them, was always on time, and was extremely responsive to our messages. We felt no stress and knew our pups were in great hands. Thank you, Kiersten! So excited to have you help again soon!”

About: I've had pets for all my life from fish to birds to cats and dogs. Ay one time we even had a horse. Retired now and available for your family I am currently retired and have lived in Chandler for over 25 years. I have time now to pet and house sit. I am available for both house and pet sitting. I have a large fenced yard with medium sized dog who is 6. I am non-smoking, non-vaping and love all animals. I can provide references.
“Exceeded all expectations! From the initial meeting, I knew my fellow inmates would receive expert care while I was away. We're all mad here, but we can use apps for that too. Thanks Rover and especially thanks Nicole! 🩶”

About: I got my own pet when I was around 8 and that taught me from a young age how to be responsible for animals. I also own, care for and ride horses for exercise. I know how to handle all sorts of pets and how to take care of them the right way. I have a special place in my heart for dogs and cats. I work part time as a nanny so I will have time to also care for your pet! I am available whenever you need me. I know all about safety! My goal is to keep your pet in a safe environment which means keeping them in their safe place where they feel the most comfortable.
“Paola is the best! She's my go to person whenever I am traveling and well loved by my fur baby. She takes such good care of my baby giving me tons of peace of mind while I am away. I recommend her 1000 times to anyone who is looking to get their pets the best care while you're away. Thanks Paola for all the love and care you gave to Sher khan while I was away!! 😊”

“Lacey took great care of our Bella! She showed up to the house on time and when she said she would. It's so hard to leave your little fur babies so but she sent lots of pictures, which was reassuring. We will definitely be using Lacey's services when we have to go out of town.”

“First time using someone other than family to watch my animals, so I was a little nervous. Stephenie really put my fears to rest, as she communicated with me every time she was with our pets with videos, pictures and a recap of how each animal was. It made me so happy to see my dogs wagging their tails. I could see that she was taking good care of them. I would definitely use her again!!”

“Anna was great with Kobi!! This was our first time utilizing the Rover app. We didn’t know what to expect and Kobi requires medication to be administered at specific times during the day. Before the sessions began, we met with Anna so she could meet Kobi and so we could go over his medications, what he likes to do, etc. We could see that she understood everything quickly and that she is very good with pets. Anna was punctual and left detailed feedback for each visit and the “Rover Cards” from the app were provided in real time. Messages were sent each time the sessions began and ended. She even solved a minor issue on the very first visit that was not related to Kobi. It really put our mind at ease since we were out of state and unable to return quickly if we needed to. She used great judgement as the temperatures outside were extreme and she adjusted the time spent in the visits and play activity to suit Kobi’s needs accordingly. We could tell from the many photos that Anna took and posted on the Rover Cards that Kobi was bonding with her and trusted her. A great first experience with the Rover app due to Anna’s professionalism and caring demeanor. We highly recommend Anna and we’re hoping she’ll be available when we decide to go on trips in the future, knowing how well she took care of Kobi!”

“I reached out to Jennifer as a last minute booking forbmy cmvacation when my regular pet sitter had an emergency and couldnt watch my place. She was quick to respond and set up a meeting right away. She was very thoughtful and attentive to my cat. I appreciated the updates and photos.”

About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember! From snow days and trampoline adventures with my dog Bear to life with my two loyal Rhodesian Ridgebacks, animals have always been my happy place. These days, our sweet rescue Stella keeps life calm and cozy, and I still find that animals naturally seem to trust and connect with me. I’ve even taken obedience training classes because I genuinely love learning more about dog behavior and communication. I’m comfortable with energetic pups, gentle seniors, big dogs, little dogs, and yes — cats too (even if we can’t have them at home because of allergies). My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into our family’s daily routine. I’m a teacher, so I’m home during summers and school breaks, including two weeks each in fall, winter, and spring. My work schedule when teaching allows me to stop by home during lunch to check in on pets and I’m home by 3:30 PM leaving the evening open for playtime and companionship. Our two boys (13 and 15) also love animals and are learning responsibility by helping care for pets alongside me — giving extra love, playtime, walks, and attention. As a family, we’re able to comfortably provide care in our home or stop by for feedings, walks, check-ins, and play visits throughout the day. During the school year, I’m available before 7:00 AM and after 3:30 PM. I care for pets like they’re part of the family! I love greeting them with excitement, giving them attention, playtime, cuddles, and making sure they feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. I enjoy taking dogs on walks or runs, playing fetch, and honestly love when they get the zoomies and show their personalities. Safety is always a priority. In our home, pets are supervised and can be safely crated or given their own quiet room if needed for rest, comfort, or separation. We have a fully fenced yard for outdoor play and a dog door so pets can move in and out comfortably throughout the day. We do have a pool that is not fenced, so I make sure dogs are monitored outside and will always follow the owner’s instructions regarding outdoor access and supervision. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, my goal is to make them feel safe, happy, exercised, and loved.
“Thanks for the updates on Jaxi’s mood throughout the week. I can tell he is t adjusting well with his dads traveling schedule 😩. 1 more week - hopefully he gets his playful spunk back.”

Madison has a very gentle nature that my cats were drawn to immediately. I trusted her because she is a vet assistant and has devoted her life to caring for animals. I was called to go on a business trip for 2.5 weeks, and Madison rose to the occasion and hung in there with daily updates and photos to keep me in touch with them while I was gone. The cats were happy and relaxed when I returned home and I am very grateful for her loving care while I was gone.
Kiersten allowed us to fully enjoy our time away from home! She took such good care of my cats and dog, and went the extra mile to make sure that the home was taken care of while we were not here. We feel very lucky to have had her watch our kids, and can’t wait to have them babysit again!

For this trip to Las Vegas, our original pet sitter wasn’t available due to a scheduling conflict, so we decided to try someone new. Alexis caught my attention because of her background as a veterinary technician. Since I reached out to her a little later than I had hoped, I was initially worried about how everything would work out. I’m so glad I found her. She accommodated our schedule perfectly, and even though I left a very detailed set of instructions, she followed every single one of them flawlessly. Knowing our pets were in such caring and capable hands allowed my family to truly relax and enjoy our trip. Thank you, Alexis, for your dedication, professionalism, and genuine love for animals. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for exceptional pet care. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!

Kelsei was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make sure all of our variety of pets were happy and cared for. She took wonderful pictures of all of them every day that made us smile when we were away. She befriended the shy kitty, the spicy parrot, our lizard, and our other animals. I could tell she learned the personalities of each of them and gave them loving care accordingly. We will definitely book her again if she's available on our next vacation. Highly recommended!
Kelly has been caring for our two cats when we go on vacation for 7+ years. She is so kind and takes excellent care of them. Each visit she checks their water and food, cleans the litter boxes, and plays with them. The cats know her when she shows up. You can tell she really loves and cares for animals. She is flexible with our scheduling and has accept d last minute requests several times. I highly recommend Kelly!

We love Ariel! Every time she takes care of our dog and cat she goes above and beyond. This time our dog got sick and threw up a couple times on our carpet and we came back to it cleaned up and our girl taken care of. We’ll never not leave them with Ariel if she gets have the choice! She’s our go to forever.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
