“Our pets loved Alanna! She's very attentive and made sure to complete the tasks our spoiled fur babies require. Pictures of them were taken everyday which we looked forward to. We are definitely going to book with her again!”

“It was my first experience using this app and my first time trusting a complete stranger to take care of my dog. I was very nervous at first. Since my dog is a senior, it’s important for me to know that she’s eating, drinking, and going potty normally, so I really appreciated that Jacqueline kept me updated throughout the stay. She sent me photos, gave my dog her vitamins, and even watered my plants as I had asked. She took wonderful care of everything, and my dog came home happy and relaxed. I truly can’t recommend Jacqueline enough. She made my very first experience with both this app and having someone stay in my apartment while caring for my dog completely stress-free. I’m so grateful for her kindness, communication, and professionalism. Thank you so much, Jacqueline—I would absolutely book with you again!”

“This is the best pet sitting service. The young men working this are very thoughtful and had lots of care for my pets. I highly recommend them. My pets were so well cared for and enjoyed their visits from the young men. Thank you so very much for the updates and photos during our trip. It made us feel so good to know our pets were so well taken care of. Wonderful family.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life. My first dog was an Airedale Terrier named Molly, who I grew up with, and our second dog, a Lakeland Terrier named Leila, was trained, socialized, and cared for by me. Caring for animals is something I’ve done for as long as I can remember, and it’s never felt like work. Before moving to Arizona I built up a steady roster of dog and house sitting clients, first informally for friends and roommates and then on Rover, where I earned a 5.0 rating across every stay. I’m now based in the Phoenix area and offering that same attentive, reliable care here. I don’t have any pets of my own right now, which means your pet gets my full attention while they’re in my care. Dogs are creatures of routine, so rather than board them in a stressful kennel, I keep them where they’re happiest: their own home, on their own schedule, with plenty of company. I can’t wait to meet your dog (or cat), I already love them! :) Currently pet sitting full time, so I will be able to give your dog attention throughout the day, and can even accommodate frequent potty breaks/walks if desired. I don’t have any pets of my own currently so your pet will be getting my full attention when they are in my care. Dogs are creatures of routine - rather than board your dog in a stressful kennel environment where they are around other barking dogs and only getting limited attention and love, let your pup stay where they are happiest: your home! I’m super clean and respectful, I will always leave your place exactly as I found it and will respect all house rules while I’m watching your pet. Happy to look after plants and general house sitting tasks as well, just let me know.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Chandler Heights
Our kitties received awesome care while we were away!! They even showed love to our Frenchie, who was receiving care from a neighbor. Throughout the booking, Aryn & Matt were responsive and provided updates each visit to let us know how things were going We’ve never left our kitties before, but they gave us the peace of mind to enjoy my trip. Will definitely book again!

Cassie was excellent! She clearly loves the animals, and it was a huge relief to know they were in good hands. One of our cats needs and inhaler twice a day, and she was willing to learn how to administer it, and had no hesitations. Our dog was also a big fan of her. And even our more secretive cat came out for a peek! She was easy to communicate with, and I would deifnitely recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter or other services.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
