About: Hi! I’m 24 years old and have been running my pet sitting business for the past 6 years full-time. I started pet sitting in Maricopa using word of mouth and advertising on Facebook to gain new clients and overall more knowledge about each clients needs and wants during my services. I am cautious, clean, professional, and respectful of each and every one of my clients homes and pets. I mostly care for dogs and cats but I do also have experience with farm animals. I’ve been running my pet sitting business full-time for the past 6 years and hope to continue to grow my business in the years to come. My schedule is very flexible whether you’re needing a few drop ins, dog walking or overnight care for your pet! Currently, I’m only able to care for pets in my client’s home so safety is my number one important thing with my clients pets and homes. I’m cautious when entering and leaving any door. I follow every instruction given to ensure the pets are getting everything they need. I communicate with my clients if anything does come up and send daily pictures of their pets.

While I was out of town Bridget walked my dog “Tank” 5 consecutive days. She was amazing, pleasant to work with, prompt with messages, she followed my requests exactly, however I am confident I could trust her judgment had she needed to deviate from my requests. My “Tank” loved her…. If needed I will use her again.

About: I’ve owned a dog training business for 25 years! looking to provide care and boarding to your canine and Feline family members. Experienced with all breeds and sizes of dogs. I'm active and athletic so walking/running with your dog is no problem. I am reliable, on time and will care for your pets like my own. I love all animals- we have 12 of our own, 1 horse, 4 dogs, 2 cats, 4 chickens. I have enough knowledge to take care of your pets safely and with love! Due to our heat in AZ dog walking has specific time and duration restrictions. I’m home most of the day and rarely am away from your pet for more than 3 hours if they are staying in my home. I have a very flexible schedule and always make your animals a priority! I request that your dog be crate trained and non destructive in the crate. For the safety of your dog they will utilize a crate indoors while I am away from home. I live on a small farm that revolves around our animals. They are inside most of the day with many outdoor exercise opportunities- dogs are only outside under supervision and care is taken during hot weather. My Life revolves around the dogs in my care. I’m an active dog trainer and competitor in dog sports. Numerous daily opportunities for potty, rest or play. Dogs kept primarily indoors during our Summer heat. This is not an outdoor facility and your best friend won’t be in a crate all day either. Our beautiful property is fenced with grass and loads of shade. Our home is set up for dog comfort with opportunity to play, or just lounge based in your dogs preference.

About: IMPORTANT: I only charge by the night, not how many pets you have. When I had to get MY dogs boarded, I was shocked at the cost of having multiple pets or getting them boarded at the vet. OMG!! So I vowed not to do that to other people LOL Usually it's $60 a night regardless of 1 pet or 3. If we get beyond that I would probably have to tack on some additional charges. For now I don't charge a holiday fee but once everyone in town wants me on the same day, hey, supply and demand baby! :-) I've had animals every year of my life since teenager, over 40 years. I've never been without at least one pet. My daughter works with me. We call her the "cat whisperer". She has an uncanny ability to gain an animal's trust. At the last customer we visited, they were shocked when she got the neighbors cat to come to her. They said they've seen anything like it, that the cat NEVER went to anyone other than it's owners. Normally we stay at your place 24/7 and between the two of us can provide around the clock care for your loved ones. I don't leave animals alone unless absolutely necessary and hate to put them in cages even more. So when their owners are away, I like to create as much of a comfortable and non-stressful experience as possible. In the future we will have a professional boarding facility but for now we can do pet sitting in your home or dog walking. I plan to enroll in animal CPR and first aid and am contemplating taking some dog and cat training courses that I have found. I have a no kill animal shelter. We currently have 6 cats and 2 dogs. I'm looking for some land to keep them at and that will be the beginning of my no-kill shelter facility. I plan to take in cats, dogs, horses and who knows what else? I can't stand to see an animal not have a family, a home. Our animals have all been strays or we adopted them. No pet store animals. There are enough strays without needing to go to a pet store. Strays usually end up being the best pets in the long run. We definitely have some characters! I'm currently unemployed (over a year) so I have all the time in the world to monitor the pets. The kids are home-schooled so they will also be around 24/7 to assist as well. The schedule is usually dictated by the owner as everyone has their own routine(s). Boarding in our home may not work right now but in your home works, we provide 24/7 around the clock attention for your pets, or we can just pop in a few times a day if you prefer. I can board pets in my home. I will just have to separate them from my pets to avoid any issues. They are all vaccinated and attended to regularly. Once we get our "real" facility, we will be able to properly board your pets. I'm hoping by Fall/Autumn, depends on my employment situation.

About: My name is Cassie, I am 26 years old and live in the Queen Creek area. I have extensive hands on experience working with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a little extra patience and care. I not only have lots of experience with walking dogs but also in animal shelters as well. I have two pups myself that I love and cherish so very much and know how scary it can be to trust a stranger with your four-legged best friend. Providing owners comfort and clear communication are always a top priority for me. I am very comfortable handling dogs with different temperaments as well, including those who may be shy, anxious, or need clear boundaries when meeting new people. Safety, trust, and positive reinforcement are always going to be a heavy priority, and I always take the time to let each dog set the pace so they feel secure and respected. Whether your dog loves long walks, calm companionship, or a structured routine, I am dedicated to providing reliable, attentive, and compassionate care, treating every pup as if they were my own.

About: I have cared for dogs for elderly couples. The dogs have ranged from four months old to 14 years old. I have cared for dogs with physical disabilities as well as mental issues. I would feed the dogs, take them on walks, administer medication, and do physical therapy with them all under the owner’s instruction. I’m currently working part-time and I am also a part-time student. I update my calendar every four months so please be sure to check availability ahead of time. My weekends are free. I will usually request a tour of the home first to see what areas the pets may or may not be allowed in. I will interact with the pets the way the owner’s have taught me since a dog who is energetic will be different than a dog with separation anxiety. I will spend time with the dog as much as I can, and make sure I care for them.

About: I have pet sat for several families with a mixture of animals, including large, extremely energetic dogs. I've had my fair share of different breeds and behaviors and it's always been a completely manageable situation. I LOVE giant dogs (and pitbulls) so I can definitely handle anything. I have tons of availability this summer as I am not working another job and I go to community college during the fall/spring/winter so I am always in town! Since I am only offering petsitting in the client's home, safety will depend on your setup and preferences. I will absolutely go outside with the dog(s) during potty breaks and monitor them when they play outside. Whatever would give you peace of mind while you're away, I am happy to oblige!

About: Hello all! My name is Morgan and I am a certified veterinary technician with a degree in veterinary technology and extensive experience caring for pets of all kinds. With several years of dedicated pet sitting experience, I have developed strong skills in animal handling, behavior observation, and administering basic medical care when needed. Currently, I work at an emergency veterinary facility, where I provide compassionate and skilled support to animals in critical situations. My background ensures that pets under my care receive professional attention, safety, and plenty of love. Pet care is my everyday routine. With my own family pet, I understand the importance of how owners have set schedules and what their goals are for their fur babies. In my household, our family dog gets fed once in the morning and once at night. Always has fresh water and bowls, potty breaks every 4 hours or so, and at least one walk a day. I have watched my neighbors pets in the past and I am very flexible to adapt to any owner requests.

About: 🐾 Reliable Pet Care with a Personal Touch Hi! My name is Tatyana, and I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats my entire life. I’ve had three dogs in my household at the same time for most of my life, giving me extensive hands-on experience with different personalities, energy levels, routines, and care needs. Whether your pet is outgoing, shy, playful, energetic, or prefers a slower pace, I understand that every animal is unique and deserves individualized care, patience, and attention. ⸻ 📸 FREE Pet Photography Included! As a photography student and aspiring photographer, I love capturing special moments with animals. During visits or pet-sitting stays, I’d be happy to take complimentary photos of your pet using my Nikon Coolpix P950 so you can receive adorable updates while you’re away. Think of it as a little bonus—cute photos, candid moments, and memories of your pet having fun while you’re gone! 🐶🐱✨ ⸻ 🤝 Meet & Greet Before Every First Booking I love meeting pets and their owners before providing any services. A quick meet-and-greet helps your pet become familiar with me, allows me to learn their routine and personality, and ensures we’re a great fit for one another. I charge a small $5 fee to help cover gas and travel costs for the visit. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel completely comfortable and confident before the booking begins. ⸻ 🐕 Experience with Shy & Nervous Dogs One of my recent pet-sitting experiences involved caring for a very shy dog during a full weekend house-sitting stay. Rather than forcing interaction, I respected the dog’s boundaries and allowed trust to develop naturally. Through patience, consistency, and a calm approach, I was able to help the dog feel safe, comfortable, and secure while its owner was away. I understand that some pets need extra time, reassurance, and understanding—and I’m happy to provide that. ⸻ 🏡 Safety, Structure & Peace of Mind When caring for pets, safety is always my top priority. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, walking routines, house rules, and any special requests you may have. I strive to maintain your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. You’ll also receive updates throughout my stay so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. ⸻ ✨ What Makes Me Different? 🐾 Lifelong experience caring for both dogs and cats 🐾 Comfortable with shy, anxious, high-energy, and senior pets 🐾 Flexible schedule and availability 🐾 Complimentary pet photography 🐾 Patient, attentive, and detail-oriented 🐾 Respectful of your home and routines 🐾 Dedicated to making pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable 🐾 Personalized care instead of a one-size-fits-all approach I genuinely love animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is simple: to make your time away as stress-free as possible for both you and your pet. ❤️ 📅 Scheduling & Availability My schedule is highly flexible! I am currently completing a fully online Pharmacy Technician program while working remotely for my family’s business. Since both my coursework and job can be completed from a computer, I have a very open and adaptable schedule. This flexibility allows me to accommodate daytime visits, evening visits, overnight stays, extended pet-sitting bookings, and, when available, last-minute requests. I understand that every pet owner’s schedule is different, so I do my best to be responsive, reliable, and accommodating whenever possible. If you have specific scheduling needs, feel free to reach out—I would be happy to discuss how I can help! 🐾 Flexible Scheduling • 🏡 Overnight Stays • 📸 Free Pet Photos • ❤️ Personalized Care 💕 Safety, Enrichment & Personalized Care Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them rather than simply meeting their basic needs. I believe pets are happiest when they feel safe, understood, and engaged, so I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, routine, and comfort level. 🐱 Mental Stimulation for Cats With my own cat, I make enrichment a priority. One of his favorite toys mimics bird sounds, and I love watching him stalk, chase, and interact with it. Keeping cats mentally stimulated helps prevent boredom and allows them to stay active, curious, and happy. Whether your cat loves to play or prefers quiet companionship, I’ll adapt to what makes them most comfortable. 🐶 Exercise & Safety for Dogs For dogs, regular exercise, supervision, and safety are always priorities. My family has always been intentional about creating safe environments for our pets. When we lived near a golf course, we even installed an additional fence around our yard for extra security and peace of mind. We never leave our pets outside for extended periods and always make sure they’re supervised, comfortable, and receiving plenty of attention. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, enrichment activities, or simply keeping a pet company, I believe every animal deserves patient, attentive care throughout the day. ❤️ Care Tailored to Your Pet I understand that every pet is different. Some pets immediately seek attention, while others need time to build trust. I’m happy to adjust my approach based on your pet’s personality, routine, energy level, and comfort zone. This is especially important for shy or nervous pets, who often benefit from patience, consistency, and gentle interactions. 📸 FREE Pet Photography Included! As an amateur photographer, I’d love to take adorable photos of your pets during my visits—completely free of charge! I’ll happily send photo updates so you can see how your furry family member is doing while you’re away. It’s one of my favorite ways to help owners feel connected to their pets and provide extra peace of mind. 🐾✨ 🛡️ Safety First • 🐾 Personalized Care • 📸 Free Pet Photos • ❤️ Plenty of Love & Attent

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life! My grandpa would always rely on me to feed his dogs and play with them since he couldn’t really do so. I currently have a senior dog and he is the cutest little thing in the world, I adore him. Our youngest dog, who I trained, can do such helpful tricks! I am currently a college student attending CGCC to study Software Engineering. Pet care would fit perfectly into my daily/weekly routine because it would give me the ability to do my school work but also meet so many amazing dogs! I walk my dogs often and know how to get them the right amount of physical activity needed! Having a backyard without a fence of some sort would not be a problem with a leash. I like to make sure that there is nothing reachable in the house that is considered toxic to dogs.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
